“We adopted a 7-month-old kitten this past summer and none of our usual cat sitters were available for an out of town trip we had scheduled for October 2022. Fortunately, we stumbled upon the Rover service and decided to give it a try. Katie was our first choice and things turned out very well. We booked a 4 night, 5 day stay. Inital communication was prompt and Katie came over to meet the little guy and scope out the house. We were greatly relieved to receive an initial report and picture within a day of our leaving, since we had no idea how our guy would react. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I’ve taken care of pets of my own as well as pets for friends and family. I am currently working from home so I am available anytime to pet sit. I’d prefer weekends off however I am open to sitting occasionally on weekends. For my personal pet I take her on walks every hour to every hour and a half. I also feed twice a day and play with her often.

About: I’ve had cats most of my life but have also had dogs, fish, birds, hamsters, mice, and guinea pigs! Spiders are the only pets I can’t handle. I’m currently unemployed and haven’t been able to find full time work due to the bus driver strike. In my own environment, I have a good sized fenced in yard with a dog door. Hannah basically goes where she wants when she wants, except when I leave the house. She like to talk to the neighbors and needs a little help when she get super chatty. My sweet cat, Ponyo, naturally stays inside. She will venture out from time to time if the door is open but always comes back pretty quick. Lot's of fresh water around and meals are planned and controlled to avoid obesity.
