About: I grew up in a very pet-friendly home and have always been surrounded by animals. My mom consistently had multiple cats at a time, and my dad and stepmom have always had several dogs in the household as well. Because of that, I’m very comfortable caring for both cats and dogs of different personalities and energy levels! I absolutely love animals and so does my entire family. I’m currently a stay at home mom to a 2 year old and almost 1 year old. We love going outside and playing with our two dogs! We spend a lot of time with our dogs and cat giving them love and playing with them! We do not have a fenced yard but our front yard is pretty big and a decent backyard. We can easily use crates for them if needed/preferred.

About: Since I was 9, I have house/pet sat for countless neighbors and friends. Dogs/cats/birds/fish/hamsters/Guinea pigs/bunnies/lizards - the list goes on! I have a sweet, very active 3 yr old doodle who loves all animals/humans. Let’s connect!! As of May ‘26, I can be home full time. For boarding/daycare, I do prefer pets that have minimal to no shedding. If in your home, I’m open to any and all! :) I treat your pets just as you would - or better. It’s what I would want for mine. I’m flexible and will do anything you prefer, whether it’s using a crate, being strict with leashes (especially if they’re an escape artist), specific food/med schedules, etc. I am highly experienced with security systems, caring for homes, and watching out for issues like unlocked doors/leaks/etc. I take detailed notes and make sure to stay in contact - and I am not afraid to ask questions! As of May ‘26 - I am home full time! Dogs must be kenneled while I am gone. I’m open to puppies but they need to be pretty well trained (I.e. potty & crate) as I have a dog as well! My #1 priority is making sure pets are safe and secure at all times. Depending on the location, dogs are either leashed or fenced in - ALWAYS! I grew up with escape artist dogs so I learned the “do’s and don’ts” pretty quick :) I do my research on toys/bones and always monitor the pet while they’re “busy.” Animals are my best friends and I do everything I can to make sure they’re 100% safe, well taken care of, and HAPPY! That being said, I do highly prefer minimal to no shedding depending on the size of the dog and the situation.

“To be honest, I'm disappointed with my experience. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I feel it's important to provide honest feedback. I don't believe this sitter was particularly comfortable with cats. Some of the photos she sent actually concerned me, as my cats appeared stressed or unwell in several of them. She also allowed my cats onto the kitchen counter, which is not acceptable in my home. Additionally, she sent photos showing rugs and their harnesses knocked off counters and out of place. I had to point out that things had fallen and needed to be picked up before they were even addressed. When I returned home, the harnesses were still left in front of the door. Caring for my cats is a very straightforward job. They have an automatic litter box, automatic water fountain, and automatic feeder, so daily responsibilities are minimal - wet food, a treat, and try to get them to play. Unfortunately, the lack of attention to detail and effort was noticeable. I've used Rover before and had wonderful experiences with cat sitters who kept me updated with thoughtful messages, photos of my cats enjoying treats, playing with toys, giving me their arrival and departure notifications, and observations that helped put my mind at ease while I was away. Unfortunately, that was not the experience I received this time. Communication was sparse, and I felt like I was hearing very little from someone who was regularly entering my home and caring for pets that are incredibly important to me. The daily updates felt generic and lacked the level of care, engagement, and reassurance I was expecting.”
“We adopted a 7-month-old kitten this past summer and none of our usual cat sitters were available for an out of town trip we had scheduled for October 2022. Fortunately, we stumbled upon the Rover service and decided to give it a try. Katie was our first choice and things turned out very well. We booked a 4 night, 5 day stay. Inital communication was prompt and Katie came over to meet the little guy and scope out the house. About: I have watched my friends and family’s pups like they’re my own countless times! We always have such a great time. I have one dog, Ricco, who is great with other pups of all sizes and ages. We have a large intended yard that’s great for fetch and trails nearby for walks or runs! I work 7.5hrs per day, MWF I work from home and TR I work in Wasilla. I like to take the fur babes everywhere that I can, just to get them out of the house, even if it’s mundane post office runs or whatever. Per manufacturer’s (owner’s) instructions! Try to keep pets apart when feeding. Let out as often as requested (and feasible per my work schedule). Like to let pets play together if they’re friendly to each other.

I'm also well versed in what it takes to keep a house running while owners are away. I happily take care of any chores, ranging from tending of gardens to mail pickup. The care level I’ve given has varied from puppy house training, to older pets requiring advanced medical treatment. I have also volunteered and fostered with animal rescue for over 15 years, so I have dealt with a variety of dog behavioral issues. I've fostered dogs ranging from 4 week old bottle fed puppies to dogs recovering from traumatic surgeries. I'm a clean, respectable, and responsible adult. I'm a non-smoker, non-drug user, and non-drinker. I keep a very clean house and am always respectful of my surroundings. I'm friendly, patient, caring, gentle, and get along with everyone - human and non-human :) I love being out in nature and being active, but also don't mind spending time with those pets who just enjoy lounging around the house. I like to have a "meet and greet" prior to any commitments, to ensure that you and your pets are comfortable with me, and I'm able to provide what everyone needs. I care for pets in my client’s home in the manner that the clients and pets expect. If they are used to walks, they get walks. If they enjoy pool time, they get pool time. If they typically sleep on the bed with a human, they get that :) I’m all about what the pets are typically used to and enjoy! I do small amounts of work online, have to help out with family and friends in the area on occasion, and do have some drop-in and walking clients, but besides those small commitments, my time is dedicated to the animals I’m caring for. I’m all about the pet’s schedule and can usually accommodate it very well! I care for pets in the client’s home in hopefully the same manner they do! About: I’ve had cats most of my life but have also had dogs, fish, birds, hamsters, mice, and guinea pigs! Spiders are the only pets I can’t handle. I’m currently unemployed and haven’t been able to find full time work due to the bus driver strike. So, Monday-Friday I take my high schooler to and from school and am free to take care of people’s fur babies all day and night! I love animals and treat them as my fur babies! I spoil them with attention and make sure they are well taken care of and happy!

About: I have puppy sat for a couple years now. I love all animals and I’m very physically fit to take care of them. I can’t have a puppy of my own right now so I love taking care and spending time with them when I can. I’m available 24/7 right now. About: I grew up in a very pet-friendly home and have always been surrounded by animals. My mom consistently had multiple cats at a time, and my dad and stepmom have always had several dogs in the household as well. Because of that, I’m very comfortable caring for both cats and dogs of different personalities and energy levels! I absolutely love animals and so does my entire family. I’m currently a stay at home mom to a 2 year old and almost 1 year old. We love going outside and playing with our two dogs! We spend a lot of time with our dogs and cat giving them love and playing with them! We do not have a fenced yard but our front yard is pretty big and a decent backyard. We can easily use crates for them if needed/preferred.
