“Millicent was fantastic from the first message! She replied to my booking request in a timely manner, which was extra appreciated considering the short notice. Due to this being Freddie’s first night away from home I was quite nervous and Millicent was so kind throughout the whole process, even offering for us to come the day prior for Fred (and myself) to meet her so we both would have a sense of where he would be staying. Throughout his stay I was provided multiple updates with pictures and I can safely say Freddie looked to have an amazing time, receiving plenty of cuddles! I was very nervous as Freddie is a big dog who doesn’t know his own size and strength, but Millicent was absolutely fantastic with him and I trust her completely. Will be my go to petter sitter moving on 💕🐾”

“First time leaving Finn with a stranger, but will definately use Jack again if i need a sitter, Finn was at ease the minute we went in, we had a meet and greet a couple of days before which put our minds at ease. Jack is reassuring and obviously an animal lover. Finn got lots of love and attention and i dont think he missed us as much as we did him. About: I really miss dogs and would love to share a new friendship with local doggies 🐶 I love being outside and walking and would love to have an excuse to be out and about, and dog walking is the perfect reason. I work in healthcare, but regular hours and so I'm free on evenings and weekends 😊 I'm always going for walks anyways! I can't have my own pet due to being out of the house too long at any one time, so would love to have quality time with local dogs instead!! I value dog and owner safety first and foremost, but also want dogs to have a fun and enjoyable time. I am always aware of my surroundings and am aware of how to keep dogs safe etc.
About: I have always had a great fondness for dogs, owning as both a child and an adult myself. Up until August 2026 we owned two gentle dogs, but sadly lost our miniature Daschund, leaving our 6 year old Fauve. who are treated equally as family members. No one loves unconditionally like a dog and could never imagine myself with out a dog. I understand a dogs needs well and both my dogs have had vigorous training from an early age. Your dog would be cared for well and any special requests would be met, along with regular photos, videos and updates. Your dog would receive lots of attention and cuddles from myself, husband and family, while in my care. We have a large secure garden, with security cameras front and back. Both my dogs enjoy river, woodland and beach rambles. Puppies wouldn’t be over exercised and any home training could be continued here in our home, or on walks or visits if required. Happy to arrange a meeting ahead of any requests if you would prefer. Thank you I predominantly work from home, and can possibly accept other dates if you wish to ask. As we have our own dog, we are around most weekends, and walk morning and evening with current dogs as a minimum (sometimes lunchtime depending on the temperature) and a very large fenced garden. We are close to many grassed areas for longer walks, woodland, river walks. Occasionally we get to the beach for a good run around. I have 1 female dog and very dog friendly property. Our eldest dog who lived to almost 15, until this summer sadly. we had adapted certain things for her to help with her aging, so older dogs would also be very well cared for in our home.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life. I was raised around German shepherds for 19 years and I had about 15! I've currently got a little border terrier, who's 4 and I've had him from a pup. I understand the training needs for dogs of all ages. I'm home consistently, and can assure that they'd be treated the way I treat my own. I have looked after family dogs, friends dogs and others before when they've been away. I enjoy taking days out with the dogs, to the beach or forests. I like to give them good socialising experiences and I understand the importance of this. Their care and welfare is of upmost importance to me. I'm home consistently, and currently I am looking to build a permanent doggy day care business. This will be my weekly routine, and full time earning. I have a Border Terrier and he is allowed the rein of the house. There's a secure back garden, that has a 6ft fence that he regularly runs around and plays in. My house has three large reception rooms so plenty of space for a dog to run and play in. There's an amplitude of toys and treats! They'll also have plenty of room if they need a minute to themselves. There's a designated area for dog beds and blankets for them to have a nap in. I am also a 5 minute walk away from the playing fields, where I often walk my dog.

About: Hi! My name is Jodie and I love pets! I’ve grown up with cats since I was 7 years old and love their quirks and personalities. I’m always happy to drop in to see your fur baby and give them the attention they need. Feeding, play time, strokes and affection and litter box duties I’m all fine with and love to reward them with treats too. I’m an experienced cat sitter and have had a good amount of repeat bookings. About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and have been pet/house sitting for neighbours and family for the past 5-6 years. I have a husky and previously had a german shepherd so am comfortable with big strong dogs, as well as handling smaller dogs and cats. “Millicent was fantastic from the first message! She replied to my booking request in a timely manner, which was extra appreciated considering the short notice. Due to this being Freddie’s first night away from home I was quite nervous and Millicent was so kind throughout the whole process, even offering for us to come the day prior for Fred (and myself) to meet her so we both would have a sense of where he would be staying. Throughout his stay I was provided multiple updates with pictures and I can safely say Freddie looked to have an amazing time, receiving plenty of cuddles! About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember, especially dogs and cats. I grew up with an Alsatian and, as soon as I moved into my own home at 18, I adopted my first cat. My husband shares my love of animals, and together we have a home full of furry family members! We have two beautiful cats (both aged 5), our wonderful 14-year-old Jack Russell cross, Rocky, who still thinks he's a puppy, and our affectionate 11-month-old Labrador, Sonny. Despite his size, Sonny is incredibly gentle, friendly and loves both people and other animals. I work part-time for the NHS, which has helped me develop responsibility, reliability and a caring nature. When your pet is with us, they'll be treated as part of the family, with plenty of love, attention and care. My husband is home every other week, so there's often someone around to keep your pet company. We also have two children, aged 13 and 10, who have grown up surrounded by animals. They are kind, gentle and respectful around pets and absolutely love helping to care for them. Over the years I've looked after pets for friends and family, and they've often encouraged me to join Rover because they know how much I enjoy caring for animals.
