“Jasper had a lovley stay with Joshua . He was happy and relaxed for the stay and I felt at ease knowing he was in safe hands! I received regular pics and updates throughout his stay which was lovley to see and reassuring. Jasper and I would definitley book using Joshua again! Thank you <3”

“There are no words good enough to describe the amazing Daria and family! They took care of my Dachshund Molly for three nights and for the first time ever leaving her I didn’t have a single worry. I had many updates about Molly, what she was up to, videos, pictures etc. Daria was so kind in answering any questions I had. Dachshunds are known to be nervous dogs but molly settled in right away with no issues what’so ever, I could tell she fell in love with the family straight away as she was so comfortable sleeping on them 😂. Molly came in to season just before staying and Daria was so helpful and fine with making some changes to mollys routine and helping with keeping her clean and comfortable. I would reccomend Daria to absolutely any pet owner and will absolutely book in again when I need to. A very very heartfelt thank you to you daria and family xxx”

“Sara has looked after my Lenny now a few times and I can say she and her partner have taken great care of Lenny! They are very diligent with him as well as extremely accommodating with last minute changes & I can tell he thoroughly enjoys spending time at Sara’s as I can no longer walk near her house without being pulled in that direction!”

“Hayley was absolutely amazing with our Staffy Lola! She looked after her as her own. After being very nervous about leaving her for the first time overnight, Hayley made me feel so comfortable knowing she was in the best care! She sent lots of photos of Lola to us out on walks and having cuddles 😊 Lola was very happy staying with Hayley & her son. I couldn’t think of a better person to of chosen to look after her. I very highly recommend Hayley to anybody looking for somewhere to leave there pets overnight in a loving family home. Thank you so much Hayley I will definitely be using you again and recommending you to everybody I can.”

“So happy to have found Dan on Rover. Couldn’t ask for a nicer and more caring person to look after my Molly. Regular updates with pics was super nice, so my mind was at ease while away. It’s very clear Dan loves dogs and they certainly love him back. Will definitely love to have my dog stay with Dan in the future without hesitation! Thanks so much Dan!!”

“Julie (and her family) took great care of our dog for 5 days. He was settled and happy when we returned and I’d go as far as to say he appears to be missing them!! Regular updates, daily. Lots of walks. He even slept on her bed (which he’s used to doing) so all in all - look no further than Julie! A+”

“Bea had a great experience with Luke, she was well provided for with plenty of space. Dog bed in each room, garden to play in etc. very loving and considerate for the dogs needs. Highly recommended!”

“Millicent was fantastic from the first message! She replied to my booking request in a timely manner, which was extra appreciated considering the short notice. Due to this being Freddie’s first night away from home I was quite nervous and Millicent was so kind throughout the whole process, even offering for us to come the day prior for Fred (and myself) to meet her so we both would have a sense of where he would be staying. Throughout his stay I was provided multiple updates with pictures and I can safely say Freddie looked to have an amazing time, receiving plenty of cuddles! I was very nervous as Freddie is a big dog who doesn’t know his own size and strength, but Millicent was absolutely fantastic with him and I trust her completely. Will be my go to petter sitter moving on 💕🐾”

“Our 6 month puppy had a great stay with Anitha. Anitha made every effort to ensure our puppy had a great first experience staying out. We really appreciated being able to pop for a quick visit prior to his stay. Stanley has a great visit and we were grateful for photos and updates. Highly recommend.”

“Just come back from a mini break ,buster spent the weekend with Justine and Matt and we couldn't be happier with how it's gone. We got a picture first night that showed how safe and comfortable he was Which helped us enjoy our time away. On picking him up I don't think he wanted to come home he was that settled. He's been so relaxed it's as though we've not been away. Thank you so much Justine and matt”

“Kirsty and her family took great care of our Dash, he had a great time and we was always sent lots of lovely updates about him, he came home tired out and we couldn’t be more grateful to Kirsty, her husband and her children and would definitely use them again! :)”

About: My family have always had dogs since I was very young however my first dog being my responsibility was when I was 13. I was gifted a German spitz who was with me over 17 years. With lots of love, cuddles and time put into his care, he managed to live with several illnesses including only having one eye and dementia. All dogs are amazing but older souls are so loyal and loving, I have good experience with giving medication and understanding the needs of seniors. As well as taking care of my own dogs, I have also been sitter and walker for my families and family friends dogs. I have experience both with home from home boarding and staying in families homes looking after their pets whilst they are aware on holiday. We have had all of our dogs from puppies therefore quite familiar with cheeky pups to calm all the way through a dogs life cycle. I believe what makes a good sitter is getting to know the client, having a good relationship with the owners is a great foundation but becoming friends with the dog, making sure they are comfortable and content is the main goal. Dogs are very loyal and know good from bad so by reading their body language and responses is the best way for your pups to be happy making a comfortable experience for all parties. I am available for boarding weekdays, weekends and bank holidays. Both myself and partner are dog lovers so there will always be cuddles and play time on offer. Walking and boarding is my main job so there is plenty of time for cuddles and walks between clients I have a secure fenced garden with a seperate dog run area for dogs to take their toilet breaks. I have two dogs of my own who are very friendly and enjoy playing. Dogs are treated like family and will have access to all rooms of the house and able to lay on sofas/beds. Fresh water is always down both upstairs and down as well as in the garden when sitting outside. If grooming is selected this will be a full shampoo and conditioner, dry and brush with paw pad and nose lotion finished off with a scented coat spritz.
“Adam was really helpful and took excellent care of Indie. We got regular updates during her stay and she came back content and relaxed. Would happily take Indie back again!”

“Helena was absolutely amazing with our very nervous dog, so kind and patient with him. Helena listened carefully to what he likes and needs and made his stay very stress free Great communication with lots of pictures sent too which really helped me with the first time leaving him. Thanks again Helena”

About: I have always had dogs at my family home, starting with a jack russel and whippet from when i was a small child. By the time I had left the family home at 18 we had 2 labradors and a french bulldog. I now own a dachshund, her name is Molly and she is 4 years old! I love to teach my dog lots of tricks and of course spoilt her with treats and cuddles. We have been through all the good and bad stages of walking training so happy to walk any age dog! Some more info on my services/location/times below: Dog Walking: I am able to walk your dog if you live in the hu8/hu9 area of garden village and holderness road, or the HU5/HU6 area of the avenues. I love walks whatever the weather and find myself to be comfortable with dogs who are well behaved, and ones who are not so (my dachshund barks at every opportunity so I am used to this). I would be most comfortable with walking dogs who stay on the lead at all times. I am fully insured. House drop-in: I would love to help with any home drop ins to provide pets, cuddles, food and toilet breaks for your pet! My hours are very flexible at the moment so please do send a message with your preferred times of walking or house dropping and I would be happy to help if possible! I usually go to work each day for around 4 hours, but my husband is usually home to offer more frequent toilet breaks if needed! I am currently working hybrid, some days from home and some days from the office. I usually only leave for a few hours at a time thought as my jobs very flexible. I have a fenced back garden which my dog loves to play around in. I have a babygate to stop dogs from running up and down the stairs as my stairs are narrow. I am happy to carry dogs up and down if they want to stay in the bed. As mentioned in my bio - I do have a friendly little dachshund who is able to stay with me during your dogs stay if they are good with other dogs, or I can offer your dog their own space if needed and my dog can stay with family and friends.
“We couldn't be more impressed. Faith took exceptional care of Maisie who has some guarding issues , and handled everything with incredible confidence and professionalism. From the moment we met we knew Maisie was in good hands. Faith not only managed Maisie's quirks but also made sure she comfortable, happy and well exercised. It was such a relief to know that Maisie was being cared for by someone so skilled and attentive. We would definitely book Maisie in with Faith again without any hesitation. The daily updates from Faith was extremely reassuring knowing that Maisie was having a great time.”

“Amy was very kind and friendly, not only did my cats really like her but she also made sure that their litter trays and bin were all nice and clean for when I am back home☺️. She also sent me pictures of them when she fed them so I could see they were okay and it reassured me as it was the first time leaving them alone🥺. Would definitely rebook!x”

“Harmony and Debbie are great with my cat. I completely trust them with her even though she is my very pampered, spoiled baby. My cat was very content when I got back, even though she doesn't like me leaving. They went over and above to keep her happy and safe. ”

“Thanks Iris for looking after our little kitty! You were great with the best updates that really put us a ease. A natural with with animals, deffo recommended for your pet looking after needs.”

“We couldn't be happier with Jules; I called her the Mary Poppins of pet sitters- cat was so happy and beautifully groomed (he doesn't let many people near him with a brush) and house was cleaner than when we left! She even watered the garden! I can't recommend Julie enough- she's wonderful!”

About: I owned a cat for 10 years, so I know how much personality, routine and quirks make each cat unique, from feeding schedules to favourite hiding spots and play styles. I've also cared for a client's cat during a previous pet sitting booking, where I made sure to keep to their normal routine and gave plenty of attention and playtime. Whether your cat is independent, affectionate, shy or food motivated, I take time to understand what makes them feel comfortable and settled while you're away.

“Poppy was amazing with my cat Tofu and made me feel so comfortable while I was away! She made sure that she got lots of attention and was well looked after. Poppy had great communication and was reliable - would definitely recommend :)”

About: I have two beautiful babies. Mac my ginger Persian Scottish Fold Cross and my Blue Moggie who we recently adopted from Bahrain. My boys are my absolute world and I love nothing more than to be at home with them playing or napping! We are currently following the Jackson Galaxy method of introducing two adult cats so I have experience of having to keep cats separate also. We recently lost our indoor bunny Zelda so I hav experience of other small animals with complex needs. My boys safety and happiness is my top priority at all time so you can be assured I will treat your babies just the same! ❤️

About: I’ve loved cats from a young age and currently have two rescue cats, Otis and Sookie, who I care for every day. I handle all of their daily care, including brushing, nail trims, litter cleaning, feeding, and plenty of playtime and enrichment. I’ve even taught them to high-five with both paws using positive reinforcement. I’d say I’m a proud cat mum who understands the importance of patience, routine, and creating a safe, happy environment for every cat.

“Sarah was brilliant as always, providing lovely updates and videos of our fur babies upon each visit. Communication with Sarah is smooth and she is very organised and so warm and friendly. She has won over our cats for sure!”

“Azra was wonderful with my cats. She made sure they were well fed and the litter trays were scooped. The cats absolutely loved her. She also sent updates every visit so that we can see how they were doing. Thank you!”

About: Hi everyone, I am fond of vats and enjoy petting them and making sure that they are well fed, watered and played with! I have grown up in my family home with three cats called Cool Beans, Cartman (although we called him fartman) and Linky. Although I do not have a cat now as my dachshund is not a fan, in the future we would like a british short-haired cat. I totally understand cats are very independent and some like a pet, some don't and some will tell you when enough is enough in their own way. I am available for drop-ins around the HU5/6 and the HU8/9 area weekdays and weekends. If you need help outside of these areas please let me know and I will try to arrange something. I will always put your pets safety as my number priority :)

“Hannah was so accommodating as a last minute request to sit with my nervous dog on bonfire night. She sent photos of a happy pooch which instantly put my mind at ease whilst I was held back at work. I really really appreciated Hannah’s kindness and support on what is a difficult night for Riley. Highly recommend Hannah services and wouldn’t hesitate to rebook again.”

“Xiao did an amazing job looking after our 3 months old Yorkie. It was our puppy’s first time interacting with other fluffy friends, and Xiao handled everything with great care and professionalism, helping her settle in and adapt comfortably. She kept us updated throughout the entire stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. We’re incredibly grateful for her support and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and experienced sitter - especially for young puppies.”

About: I absolutely love animals and dogs in particular. I grew up with a beautiful black Labrador and I have so many lovely memories of him. Dogs are an important part of a family and I would love to take care of your precious pet when you need someone to trust. I provide natural dog treats for your dogs arrival and outdoor space to play with balls etc 🐶🐾🐕 your dog will have lots of love and fun with us so you can leave them with no worries at all. I have lots of experience with nervous dogs and know the perfect route to walk them near me that has little to no dogs around. We do not own any animals apart from our tortoise Scaley who lives in a cage in the kitchen 🥰 I have my own business and work from home most of the day so it will be no problem to incorporate a lovely dog into my daily routine. I have plenty of time and love to give and it would be an honor to have your doggy in my home. I have a garden which is unfenced down the side but I will be able to take dogs to the park for a run around and for walks in more secluded areas for nervous dogs. I have a large kitchen area that can be the perfect place for crates or dog beds and the dogs are welcome in the living room too. We are also happy for dogs to sleep in our bedroom if they prefer. We are flexible and will try our hardest to accommodate your needs.
“Sandra and her family gave Molly a lovely home from home stay. She came home very happy and chilled and it was clear she’d had a lovely day. Communication was great from Sandra and she kept me well updated on the day with lots of pictures. Thank you! It set my mind at rest from early on that she would be fine x”

“Emily has been amazing looking after Freddie today. He has loved it too with her pooch carter. He settled in nicely and had lots of fun. Emily kept me updated during the day and sent some beautiful pictures of them both. He will be back 😊”

“I was really nervous about leaving Cassie as she has separation anxiety and is very hyper attached to me. I took her for a 'meet and greet' the day before and spent some time getting to know Rhiannon and her Mum and for Cassie to get used to them and their home. When I dropped her off the day after, Cassie was really happy to see them again. Rhiannon kept me updated through the afternoon and told me that Cassie had been crying for me so she had fetched her Auntie's dog in the hope that it would settle her down, and it worked. I thought that was really thoughful of her and showed clearly how much she cares for dogs and their wellbeing. Highly recommended.”

About: My love of pets came during my childhood going into my college years taking care of my Labrador dog 'dragon' and my Tuxedo cat 'Cookie'. I had the honour to feed them, play with them and make sure they spent their lives as happy as they can be. I believe that pet sitting is not just about feeding and walking; it’s about creating an environment where pets feel safe, loved, and at ease. That’s why I always take the time to get to know the pets I care for, understanding their routines, likes, dislikes, and all the little things that make them feel at home. I'm currently working from home. I can work at any location as long as there is a Wifi connection so I can work and take care of your furry pets at the same time! I can't have a pet right now but I hope to again some day :) I'll be available at any day or evening time, weekends can be arranged but I'm usually free. I will always treat your home as my own home - I will keep the owners updated with regular photo/messages and keep the owners connected to their pets

About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover who truly understands that pets aren’t just animals—they’re cherished family members. Whether you need help while you’re at work or away on a trip, I am here to provide your best friend with the same love, attention, and security they receive at home. My journey with animals has taken me across the globe. Having lived and pet-sat in both Australia and the UK, I’ve had the joy of caring for a wide variety of breeds and temperaments. From high-energy pups to gentle seniors, I am comfortable and confident working with dogs of all shapes and sizes. My background in professional babysitting has also helped me develop a high level of patience, responsibility, and an intuitive approach to care. I know how to stick to routines, manage dietary needs, and—most importantly—provide plenty of companionship and play. I currently share my home with a beautiful, energetic Dalmatian, so I am very well-versed in the needs of active breeds. Whether your pet is a tiny companion or a giant gentle soul, I have the experience to keep them safe, happy, and exercised. I pride myself on being communicative and detail-oriented. You can relax knowing your home and your pet are in dedicated, trustworthy hands. I would love to meet your furry family member and provide them with the care and companionship they deserve. Feel free to reach out with any questions! Because I work as a supply teacher, I am currently heading into a seven-week summer break, which means my schedule is entirely open. I am able to commit fully to your dog’s care, providing dedicated attention day and night. Aside from the occasional, short errand—typically just a couple of hours at most—I will be right there with your pup. Whether your companion needs an extra-long morning walk, active play throughout the day, or just some quiet companionship on the sofa in the evening, I am physically and mentally present to provide it. During our outings, I practice proactive awareness, keeping a firm grip on the leash and maintaining a safe distance from other dogs or traffic to prevent any unexpected incidents. My goal is to be a calm, observant, and highly attentive presence, constantly monitoring your dog’s body language and comfort levels to ensure that your home remains a peaceful, stress-free, and safe sanctuary while you are away. When caring for your pet in your own home, my top priority is maintaining a secure and familiar environment where they feel completely at ease. I begin by conducting a thorough "safety sweep" to ensure all entry points are secure and any potential hazards—such as stray cords, household plants, or cleaning supplies—are safely tucked away. I strictly adhere to your established house rules and routine, ensuring that feeding times, walk schedules, and any medication requirements are handled with consistency. During outings, I practice proactive awareness, keeping a firm grip on the leash and maintaining a safe distance from other dogs or traffic to prevent any unexpected incidents. My goal is to be a calm, observant presence, keeping a close eye on your dog’s body language and comfort levels so that your home remains a peaceful, stress-free sanctuary while you are away.

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was five years old and have experience with hamsters, rabbits, dogs, and cats. I also care for my two rescue cats every day and am comfortable around both small and large dogs. I’m currently studying for my Level 2 Animal Care and Welfare qualification while working towards starting my own pet care business. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always aim to provide safe, loving, and reliable care. Family and friends trust me with all their animals and often say it’s what I was born to do. I’m currently a part time worker usually morning shifts 5-9/10 so I have plenty of time in the day Thursday-Monday to look after pets. Tuesdays and Wednesdays I am fully available. Additionally I take my dog on walks and play with him very regularly. I would be confident when caring for others’ pets; walking, feeding, and maintaining your animal’s home.

About: I own one cat and I love cats. I cat sit for friends and relatives when needed. I am very reliable. I have been cat sitting for others for over 5 years via this site. Happy to offer whatever service you'd like, cuddles, just a check in, changing litter trays, feeding. I have a DBS check on the update service

About: Hi! My name is Jodie and I love pets! I’ve grown up with cats since I was 7 years old and love their quirks and personalities. I’m always happy to drop in to see your fur baby and give them the attention they need. Feeding, play time, strokes and affection and litter box duties I’m all fine with and love to reward them with treats too. I’m an experienced cat sitter and have had a good amount of repeat bookings. I always try my best to honour last minute requests where possible too. Communication is super important to me and I’m always careful to share lots of updates and photos when I’m visiting. I currently have a 2yr old tuxedo kitty who is the most awesome lil princess, full of sass and lots of love. I’m also a dog lover and have spent lots of time with dogs belonging to friends and family and have been a dog sitter too. As with cats, I’m happy to carry out all the usual walking, feeding, playing, stroking and poop picking duties that goes with having a dog! Looking forward to meeting you and your pet(s)! I work flexibly from both home and in the office. I work a 20 minute walk away from the office, which means I have a lot of availability. I don’t have children or any other regular commitments other than work! When pet sitting, I always ensure I chat with the owner so I’m aware of anything I need to be mindful of in the home or with your pet. I always remain respectful of surroundings and would abide by any house rules and also keep with your pet’s routine. I would always take time to meet your pet and ensure that they are comfortable being around me, hopefully seeing that I’m there for play time, attention and a lot of fun!
About: I'm a dog loving girl who thinks dogs deserve the same amount of love and affection that their owners give them, even when their owners are away! Petsitting is something I really find enjoyable. Looking after the animal is only partly what's great; it's the friendship, the companionship and the sense that I'm not actually completely alone in my house! I own my own home, so am always happy to accomodate a dog in my own house if you'd prefer. With my own house, comes my own family dog petsitting! Not only do I get trusted with Max, I'm the go to dog sitter for our family friends, my own friends and my work colleagues. This is something I truly value because to be trusted with looking after your family dog is something, but to be trusted with dogs you don't already have a relationship with is really a feeling I can't quite put into words but is something I'm incredibly grateful for. I can't wait to own my own dog one day, but I'm not set on getting a puppy. I'd like to get a dog from a shelter and because of this, I'd like to gain lots of experience with all kinds of breeds of dogs - I'm not prejudice, I love them all! This way when the dog chooses me (because lets be honest, the dog ALWAYS chooses the owner), I'll be able to say I've had lots of experience with it's breed! I work as an 9-5 chartered accountant during the day, which comes with its pros and cons. The main con is that I'm often sat at my desk for hours on end so all I want is to get out and have a big long walk... Now what dog do you know that doesn't want to do that? The main pro of my job, is I'm very disciplined, organised and have a very level head when the situation requires it. I also live close by to the office, so am able to go home to make sure your dog is not alone for too long and that they're able to go out for a walk at lunch too. The last thing I would like to mention is that I will only take vaccinated pets unfortunately, as I'm obviously around a few dogs a lot of the time but the main one being my family dog Max who is 17 years young, but I obviously don't want to pass anything onto him, so your co-operation with that would be extremely appreciated. I work mostly from the office but have 1 day a week where I can work from home which is usually a Wednesday. I only live 15 minutes away from my office so it's easy to get home and make sure the dogs get let out and have a good 30 minute walk on a lunch time everyday. On weekends I am usually free, but will obviously block out any weekends I cannot do, but I'll be flexible in the sense that I'll plan weekends around which dog I'm looking after rather than the other way around! I have a fenced back garden, it's small but still enjoyable. Plus i'm only a 2 minute walk from a very large field that dogs are allowed to be let off and roam around in, play ball in and meet friends! I have enough space in my house to crate your dog if you'd prefer them to be crated. I am very respectful of others houses as my main rule is treat the house how you'd want your house to be treated, and I'd seriously not want my own home mistreated!

This is due to me walking to your location. I currently work at the university and live near holderness road. I am able to walk your dog for 30 minutes or one hour, whichever you prefer. Dog boarding: I have a lovely 4 year old dachshund who I share my home with. Your dog would be most welcome to sleep in their crate, bed or my bed!
