“Once again thank you and your lovely family for looking after Bo for us. He likes it there so much he didn't want to leave again. This is the second time Bo has stayed with you and he always comes home happy and chilled out. I suspect he loves being spoilt by your two daughters. Good luck with the new puppy. Thanks again Kevin and Gina”

“Julie was an excellent pooch sitter for our nervous chihuahua. He INSTANTLY loved Julie, she has a calm and nurturing demeanour and our dog was at ease the moment she opened the door (where usually he is quite nervous with people he has never met before). Julie was excellent to communicate with, she was happy to meet our dog at her home for us to ensure that he was acquainted with her and felt comfortable, we felt very confident to leave our dog with her following this visit, her home is secure and homely; a home from home for your pet’s visit. Thank you for taking the best care of our pooch Julie, he returned home content and calm and visibly well cared for. I highly recommend Julie to take care of your pet. I will definitely be booking our pooch in for a stay with Julie again in the future. Thank you Julie.”

“Amazing from start, communication prior to, and during boarding was fantastic. The daily updates and photos were so appreciated. Will definitely be visiting again”

“We have had a brilliant experience with Beata! This was our first time using this website after only using Kennels in the past, and our dog has thrived during his weekend with Beata! Beata was friendly, caring and attentive with regular updates and pictures. We were unsure how our dog would be with other dogs but Beata is clearly a natural with introducing them and ensuring they are happy. We had an early start and return and Beata was able to collect and drop Alfie back to our home. Alfie came home well cared for, content and sleepy after plenty of playing and walks. Thank you so much Beata, Alfie clearly had a great time with you and we are so grateful. We would 100% book again in the future, and also highly recommend to our friends and family ⭐️”

“This was our first time leaving our 4 indoor cats in the care of someone else, so needless to say we were quite anxious as to how the cats would react. Louise was fabulous with all of them, and even our most timid and nervous cat quickly warmed to her. Photos and updates were provided after every single drop in, giving us total peace of mind so we could relax and enjoy our holiday! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Louise, and we will rebook again with her in the future.”

“Nikki has fed the cats a couple of times for us recently. I’ve been happy with the service- friendly when we met, came at the times we agreed, updated about which cats said hello to her and which was nowhere to be seen and my home was left just as tidy as when we left. She even dealt with the ‘gift’ one of the cats brought in.”

About: I regularly look after my sisters cat when she goes on holiday and look after my neighbours cat when they go away on the weekends, I love all animals and always have a bond with them

About: I've taken care of cats since I was a child, including having 2 of my own growing up. This includes house training them from kittens, integrating them into new homes, feeding, cleaning and helping to give any medications. I have also dropped in on friends and family cats ensuring they're fed, let outside if allowed, cleaned if required.

About: Having 13 years of experience as a veterinary nurse, I am extremely experienced in animal care of all species. I spent 9 years working with cats & dogs, then 4 years in exotics such as parrots, small fluffies like rabbits and reptiles particularly tortoises. Last year I left the veterinary profession, mostly so I could work from home and spend more time with my own pets! During my career I have cared for many cats, from hand rearing kittens to caring for elderly cats with kidney disease, hyperthyroidism and diabetes. Outside of work, I had my own cat Bruce, a stunning Bengal boy I rescued. He passed away a few years ago and I’ve missed having a cat every single day since. Given my wealth of animal care experience, I hope I can give pet owners assurance their cats will be treated like family whilst they are away. I am able to give any medication (oral, topical or injection), experienced using feeding tubes, even with cats that find it stressful.

“Laura has had my dog a few times now, from overnight to pop in visits. I was very worried at due to never have left him with anyone other than family. Arlo now loves seeing Laura and I would highly highly recommend Laura as she is great with dogs. keeps you updated through the day with info and pictures etc! no reason to use anyone else going forward!”

“Katy has been incredible from start to finish. Very friendly and amazing. Felt very comfortable trusting her with Judo and she kept me updated as much as possible which is greatly appreciated. 10/10 would definitely recommend! Would definitely book again when I next go away. 😊”

“Chloe (and Frank) couldn't be more welcoming and friendly and were so excited looking after my frenchie (Bella). Bella settled in very quickly and all updates were very positive. Highly recommended, will be using again”

About: My partner has always been raised with dogs as pets for 20 years, these have ranged from boarder coillies, cocker spaniels, terroirs to Rottweilers. I have alway grown up around family dogs and have loved taking care of them, Our home will be your fur babies home away from home when they stay with us. Bella was the fifth member to our family, sadly we said goodbye to her in May 25. But we would treat your fur babies exactly the same as we treated Bella. We welcomed the newest member of our family; Gwen in April 2026. As a Labrador she is full of energy yet still also very chilled. She enjoys a lovely walk and snoozing on the sofa. Gwen has slotted right in with our family and has also embraced the chance to have furry friends stay with her. She’s a quick learner and soon realises if a furry friend wants to play with her or not. Both of our children have been raised around dogs, and love getting involved with caring for them. I predominantly work from home and my partner works a rolling shift pattern so your fur babies will always have company when they stay with us. Bella is set in her ways however we would be more than willing to follow the same feeding scheduling that you implement for your dog. We would welcome your dog’s blankets, toys and beds to make them feel comfortable during their stay. We also have space for your fur babies to sleep in their create if needed. We have a large enclosed garden that your fur babies will have constant access to during their stay.
“Brilliant. We got to meet up with Karen the week before we left splodge with her for the day. She really looked after splodge and adapted her routine to splodge's needs. Will definitely use again. Lovely lady.”

“Highly recommend. We felt so comfortable leaving our Dog with Beverley. She was really accommodating and really understood the needs of our rescue dog. Thanks so much :)”

“Luna stayed with Karen for the second time yesterday. Karen put us at ease with lots of messages and photographs and again we would highly recommend Karen for her care of our Luna, who means so much to us. Thank you Karen, see you soon.”

About: We both come from households with dogs our whole lives. I’ve always had 2 dogs whilst growing up on a farm and Oli loved growing up with his dogs Bailey and Summer. The past couple years we have looked after a range of dogs whilst housesitting for friends and family. I am available all day and Oli works until 3 so available in the afternoon, leaving plenty of time to look after your pets! I work from home so there’s plenty of time for walking and attention for your pup. When Oli gets back he loves a walk and spend time in the garden. We have a fenced garden, with a park nearby and happy to take further if needed. Separate room downstairs for dog to stay in, but happy to have upstairs too!
“Tina was able to help us out with our last minute request Bella. Tina saw quickly that we weren’t local so a meet and greet beforehand wasn’t possible Therefore she suggested a phone call so we were able to introduce ourselves, tell her about Bella and ask any questions. Having had that call with Tina we felt confident that all would be fine. On meeting Tina outside her house our good impressions from the call were immediately confirmed. Tina obviously has a deep love for dogs and knows how to care for them - we wouldn’t hesitate to contact her again if we had a similar need and would recommend her wholeheartedly. Bella enjoyed her time and was very relaxed ..,and we enjoyed talking to Tina and her family..”

About: Hello! Mark here- a friendly, trustworthy and active dog walker with tons of excitable (or calm depending what’s needed) energy. Im an active runner with experience of daily walks with my 18 month old Lab Daisy where she walks both on and off lead confidently. Having been around dogs my whole life we took the plunge and squeezed Daisy in to our already busy life a year and a half ago where she has thrived from a puppy to becoming the friendliest dog there is. I can provide the same energy, fun and care when looking after and walking your doggos. I can walk your dog(s) individually or bring Daisy along should they want a play pal. I work as a self employed camera assistant which means that when I’m not working I am home and available, my schedule reflects this and you can expect my full attention when your pup is with me. We have a fully fenced garden that our own dog uses to do her business. Our dog Daisy is Very friendly and playful with loads of energy but is also fully crate trained should they get too excited and need to be separated. Our cat Margaret is also used to having dogs around, both mine and my mums and tends to go off and do her own thing. She is also very friendly and a proper lap cat. Our two children are at school during the daytime however when they are home have no problems with the boundless energy of Daisy dog.
About: FULLY INSURED & Enhanced DBS checked🖤 Facebook business page: Wags & Whiskers🐾 🐾Diploma in Canine behaviour Hi there! My names Taylor-Lauren, but most people call me 'Tay' or 'Taylor' I'm 24 and live in Nelson (CF46). Most of the time I'm reading books or out in walks with my best friend.. my best friend being a border collie named Charlie🤎 I understand I may not have many reviews yet as I’ve not long joined Rover - but I wanted to try and make this my full-time job! So while I'm new to this app I'm not new to pet sitting or pet walking! I have experience with both cats and dogs due to growing up with both, as well as volunteering for Hope Rescue and doing a lot of work with Cats protection too. I fully understand how important it is to find someone who will love and look after your pets just like you would yourself, and that's what I hope to do here, after-all pets aren't just animals but they are members of our family that are loved just the same... sometimes more as they don't answer back or give attitude haha. I can offer my services of checking in multiple times a day and spending time with your beloved pet, housesitting if you would prefer for them not to be left alone while you're away and general dog walking too! Thank you for taking the time to read my little introduction, I hope to hear from you soon✨ I’ve currently left my full-time job, and looking to expand in other areas of my life starting with Rover! It’s something I’d like to do full-time and eventually have my own business in doing so, I have so many years of experience so I’m making use of it! Due to having a rescue cat, I’m unable to have other animals in my home - but caring for your beloved pets in the comfort of their own home is something I believe very important, giving them fusses, lots of cuddles and an active walk so they can be exercised and kept healthy!

About: I had my own cat for 15 years. I have looked after friends and families dogs and cats. Done drop ins for feeding and attention. Done dog walks for small and medium sized dogs. Flexible with days and times. I have no children or any other pets. I live in a decent sized home with a fenced garden. Me and my husband do not smoke.

About: I’ve always had a love for dogs and animals. Growing up, my family always had dogs, and today I have a wonderful 3-year-old Cavapoo who keeps me on my toes and reminds me every day just how important exercise and companionship are for our furry friends. I love spending time outdoors, whether that’s exploring local walking routes, enjoying the fresh air or discovering new places to walk. Combining that passion with my love of dogs inspired me to start Castle Paws. I understand how much our pets mean to us. They’re not just animals – they’re family. My goal is to provide a reliable, caring and trustworthy service that gives owners peace of mind while ensuring their dogs are happy, safe and well cared for. Services include: 🐶 Dog Walks 🐾 Puppy & Dog Visits 🏡 Doggy Day Care 🏝️Holiday Dog Sitting 💍 Wedding Dog Chaperone Service If you’d like to learn more or have any questions, please feel free to send me a message. I am currently running my dog services business full time, so pet care is my main focus. This allows me to offer a flexible schedule and dedicate quality time to the dogs in my care. I love being outdoors and spending my days walking, exploring and providing dogs with the exercise, attention and companionship they need. I have a fully enclosed, secure garden where dogs can safely enjoy some outdoor time, play and relax. I also have my own friendly 3-year-old Cavapoo who enjoys having company and meeting new friends. Before any bookings, we will arrange a meet and greet to ensure your dog is comfortable with me, my dog and their new environment. I understand every dog has their own personality, so I will always tailor their care to suit their individual needs, whether they enjoy playing, exploring, relaxing or having their own quiet space.
About: I have experience with Terriers, mainly, as well as looking after different types and sizes of dogs including rescue dogs as I have fostered in the past. I am able to reinforce training that has been given by the owners as well as teaching training that an owner would like (my dog even waves to people on command!) I currently work full-time however, due to the flexibility of my work, I am able to accommodate most requests, within reason. Drop ins during lunchtimes are completed. I have a secure paved courtyard as well as an open front garden for your pet. I currently own a 4 year old Jackapoo, called Ralph, who loves every dog he meets. He is able to have access to all areas of the home. Crating can be completed, if necessary, however crates will need to be provided. I will care for your pet as if it was my own, if they aren’t allowed on the sofa, bed etc at home, I would respect your wishes and reinforce this.

About: I've taken care of dogs my whole life as we've always had one as a family pet. I've also taken friends and neighbours dogs for walks along with dog sitting them. I always make a lovely bond and always make sure all animals are well looked after as they are more family than animals Pet care becomes a natural part of my own daily rhythm it’s woven into my schedule almost like clockwork. Here’s how it typically fits in: Morning: Wake-up nudge: Your dog might be your alarm clock. First task? A quick potty break or walk. Feeding time: You prep their breakfast while maybe grabbing your own. Grooming check: A quick brush, paw check, or wiping off muddy paws if needed. Midday: Exercise/play: Whether you're on a lunch break or home during the day, this is a chance to stretch legs and play fetch or tug. Mental stimulation: Maybe a puzzle toy, a training session, or even just some one-on-one time. Evening: Walk or play session: A wind-down activity that burns off energy. Feeding and clean-up: Dinner and water refill, along with any tidying up. Affection/cuddles: Pets need emotional care, too. This could be snuggle time on the couch while you relax. Before Bed: Bathroom break: One last trip outside. Health checks: You might slip in a quick ear check, teeth brushing, or meds if needed. I have a fenced off garden front and back due to having my own dogs with a side gate, dogs will not get out alone
About: I’ve got plenty of experience looking after dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’m confident with daily care such as feeding, walking, playtime, and sticking to routines, as well as giving dogs lots of attention and reassurance while their owners are away. I understand how important it is for dogs to feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed in their own environment, and I’m very patient and calm with nervous or energetic dogs. I’m also used to cleaning up after dogs, keeping their space tidy, and making sure they get enough exercise and mental stimulation. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and treat them as if they were my own, always following owners’ instructions carefully and keeping them updated if needed. My schedule is currently fully open and very flexible, which means I can easily adapt to different dog-sitting needs. I’m available for weekdays, weekends, short-notice bookings, and longer stays, and I’m happy to work around each dog’s usual routine. This flexibility allows me to give dogs plenty of time, attention, walks, and care throughout the day rather than rushing in and out. I’m reliable, punctual, and able to commit fully to the time needed to make sure each dog feels settled and well looked after. I take pet safety and wellbeing very seriously and always make sure the environment is calm, clean, and secure. In my home, I pet-proof the space by removing hazards, keeping doors and gates secure, and making sure pets are supervised and comfortable at all times. When caring for a pet in their own home, I respect their routine and surroundings, following all instructions carefully to keep things familiar and stress-free. I provide regular feeding, exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection, while also monitoring behaviour and wellbeing so I can spot any changes quickly. Whether in my home or theirs, I treat every pet as if they were my own and aim to create a safe, relaxed, and loving environment.
About: 🔒Secure and safe gated play park walks 📸 Regular pup pictures and updates 🌲On lead forestry walks 👋🏻 Meet & greet before booking 💓 Cared for as if they were my own 🥰 Lots of hugs and cwtches I know how nerve wracking it can be to be without your pet and my aim is to make dog & owner’s experience as stress free as possible! Growing up we have always had dogs and I have taken on a lot of the walking/training responsibilities of both our animals and friends and families. I have lived with and looked after a variety of breeds and have experience with larger dogs too. Myself and my partner would love a dog of our own, but due to work commitments changing in the future I don’t want to commit to a dog of our own and not be able to meet its needs 100% of the time. So by offering services through rover I can fill that dog shaped hole in my heart and provide your pets with the love and attention they need when you are unable to x I am a freelance makeup artist and have a flexible schedule which will allow pet care to fit in to my routine easily and allows me to give them my full attention. I will be the primary caregiver to your pet. However when my partner Becky is not working, we will be caring for your pet together and both love going to long walks and adventures so your dog will get plenty of exercise and entertainment whilst in our care! Currently only offering pet sitting in their own home. It’s important to me that your pet is safe and comfortable in somewhere they know. I will ask all about their routine and how best they usually like to spend their days, so I can continue to make them happy and comfortable when you’re not there.

About: I've always had animals growing up varying from cats and dogs to hamsters and fish so I understand the care and trust required to taking care of them. I have taken care of animals with my family from a young age including cat and dog sitting as well as daily check ins, socialising and feeds. Most recently I have been on standby for relatives pets when I'm available, usually during school holidays however decided that it's time to offer my services to the wider community. I have had experience training two of my own puppies as well as providing senior care to my relatives dog when sitting, including providing medication. Typically in term time, I am a teacher meaning my availability shortens to evenings and weekends however from June - September I work from home and can therefore be flexible to work around what's best for you and your pet. During school holidays my availability will become larger rather than being evening and weekend based. I'm currently working on a zero hour contract therefore my weekly schedule is super flexible as I work from home. I have my own dog so tend to take him out twice a day alongside a morning and evening feed with lots of playing in between! Due to my flexibility I can work around your schedule to ensure your furry friends are cared for. I am happy to come over for a home visit prior to your first booking to meet yourselves as well as your pet(s) to ensure they have a level of familiarity with me upon the first time we go on a walk or pop in for a visit. This allows you to see how comfortable your pet(s) will be in my company for peace of mind along side allowing me to gain any information from you such as feed times / amounts / walking routes your pet is most comfortable with or toys they enjoy playing with the most.

About: I have had dogs all my life. I have had small and large dogs and experience of walking and caring. My dog Luna now is a great Dane and enjoy walking up mountains and to rivers. I have a good level of fitness so able to take dogs on similar walks if wanted. I work full time as a nurse but looking for enjoyment on my days off I currently work full time as a nurse. I do shift work so am able to dedicate time to something I really enjoy. I love being outdoors and have a good level of fitness. I have experience of looking after dogs and have my own dog since a puppy. She initially was a very nervous puppy but with patient she is a fab dog now who enjoys being out and with my children.

About: I’ve been in love with dogs for as long as I can remember. I had a beloved family dog for 14 years and she sadly passed away last year. I love the company of dogs and miss the companionship. Spending time with dogs has always brought me so much joy. Dog walking feels like the perfect way to still feel connected to the love our fury friends give us. I regularly take care of my friend’s dogs when they are on holiday. I work full time as a teacher for children with special educational needs. I am mainly available during school holidays and occasionally on the weekends I have a fenced garden and no dogs of my own. I am excited to meet some new furry friends and go on some adventures 🌲
“Our dog, Luna, absolutely loved being walked by Taylor. Taylor turned up promptly on time and took Luna to a nearby field, where we received videos and photos on how she was doing and her zooming up and down the pitch! (Taylor previously asked us if Luna was good at recall and able to be ‘off lead’). Taylor is great at communicating with us and facilitating our needs. Taylor even brought treats for Luna, creating a positive bond with her on their first walk. I would highly recommend Taylor to walk your dog/s, with the utmost professionalism and care for them.”

About: I have experience caring for a variety of dogs, including a Shih Tzu and a Pug, as well as other breeds belonging to friends and family. I’m confident with feeding, walking, playing, keeping dogs company and making sure they feel comfortable and well cared for. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and understand that every dog has their own personality, routine and needs. I’m patient, attentive and will always treat your dog as if they were my own. I currently have a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to care for and spend time with your dog. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits and pet sitting throughout the week and on weekends. I’m also happy to work around your dog’s usual routine, including their normal feeding, walking and play times. Your dog’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. I’ll follow any instructions you provide regarding feeding, walks, medication, routines and house rules. I understand that every dog is different, so I’ll take the time to make sure they feel comfortable and settled. I’ll also keep you updated while they’re in my care so you can have peace of mind.
About: Hi, I’m Katy 👋 I’m an experienced, calm, and very attentive pet carer offering dog walking, drop-ins, and sitting for both dogs and cats. I’m especially good with sensitive, anxious, or older animals who need a slower pace, consistency, and gentle handling. I genuinely love being outdoors and tailor walks to your dog’s needs — whether that’s a long countryside ramble, a steady sniff-filled stroll, or just some fresh air and reassurance. For cats, I’m patient, respectful of boundaries, and happy to follow their routine exactly as they like it. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet in someone else’s care. I’m reliable, communicative, and always happy to send updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is safe and content. Your pet’s wellbeing, comfort, and routine always come first 🤍 Im a stay at home mum and currently studying part-time so plenty of time to fit in playing, feeding and sorting out pups and cats. I can do drop ins morning, afternoon, evening and can do doggie walks in morning and afternoon. Happy to have dogs in the day, i have a fenced garden and live near lots of big outdoor spaces and great walks for them to stretch their legs. I also own a medium crate and/or happy to crate dogs at your home if need be. I drive and can come and pick up dogs for walks.

About: I had my own cat for 15 years. I have looked after friends and families dogs and cats. Done drop ins for feeding and attention. Done dog walks for small and medium sized dogs. I currently run a small mug business from home which takes up hardly any of my time which means I can be available any day of the week for walks, pet pop ins, day care, boarding ect. Flexible with days and times. I have no children or any other pets. I live in a decent sized home with a fenced garden. Me and my husband do not smoke.
About: I’ve always loved Dogs as a young child. Grown up with Labrador’s, Miniature Schnauzers and my sister’s dogs. Looked after my cousins dog on a few occasions, and helped my friend with her new larger dog. I just adore animals of all types, but have a soft spot for dogs. I am very caring and kind person. I’m currently on my Summer Holiday from my job as a Teacher/ SEN Teaching Assistant. I don’t get paid in the holidays, so as I love Dogs thought I would sign myself up for Dog walking, dog sitting , dog drops in etc. At my home, I have a big back garden that is fenced and a grassed area to throw a ball and to play safely outside.

About: I have a 5 year old labrador and I'm very used to walking him for 1 hour daily. I grew up with dogs and lived near a farm as a young child. I also had 2 pet persian house cats as well as budgie's and hamsters. I work full-time but this is agile, balancing office based with working from home. I am usually free during the evenings and on fridays as well as the weekends. But this can be flexible if i offer a boarding service as i can agile work. I have a fenced garden so everything is safe and enclosed, i also live on a quiet estate where the road is not busy. I like to spend time with the animals when they are in my company, as long as a blanket is on the sofa and bed they are welcome to lay on this.
