This was the first time I had used Rover and leave my dog with someone he didn’t know. I left Steven with an essay of all my dogs “quirks”. Steven was reassuring that he had experience of “quirky collies”. Steven sent regular photos and updates over the four days he stayed with him. Will definitely book again if needed.

About: I’ve always been a big dog person and have spent lots of time looking after my friends’ Cocker Spaniels, Ralph and Rue. I’d have them stay with me for days or sometimes weeks, so I’m very used to the walks, feeding, keeping them entertained and generally having a dog follow me around everywhere! I absolutely loved having them around and still miss them, so I’d be very happy to get my dog fix by looking after some new four-legged friends. I work from home most of the time, except from a Wednesday when I go into the office. I live alone and my job involves a lot of writing so would welcome the company from a cute doggo I have a nice garden space for dogs to enjoy, and I love getting out for little walks and adventures, so there’ll be plenty of fresh air and things to sniff! your pup will have my full attention and won’t have to worry about children or a busy household. I’m happy to work around their usual routine, whether that’s lots of walks and playtime or plenty of sofa time and cuddles.

Kirsty knew how anxious I was about leaving my boy. She assured me that she would treat him like one of her own and believe me she certainly did. Sadly my boy was old with complex health issues and needed veterinary care. Kirsty was amazing and stayed with my boy throughout for which I will never forget her kindness towards my wee Teddy boy. Kirsty kept me updated daily on how my boy was, sending pictures and messages. I know my boy was well looked after and would like to thank her from the bottom of my heart for the exceptional care she gave to my boy. Sadly my boy passed and I am heartbroken but Kirsty stayed with him to the end and I will be forever thankful for that. Thanks again Kirsty for all your support xxx

About: I am a dog loving, animal obsessed and puppy mum! We have brought home a new puppy this year, Haggis and happy to share our home with other friendly pups who need some short stays! Hi! I’m an experienced dog owner and absolutely love having dogs around. Your dog will be treated like part of the family in a safe, loving home alongside our friendly Australian Labradoodle puppy, Haggis, and our 8-year-old son, who has grown up around dogs and is calm and respectful with them. To make sure everyone has a happy and stress-free stay, we do have a few requirements. Dogs staying with us must be friendly and comfortable around other dogs and children. We also ask that they’re happy sleeping in either a crate or their own bed overnight, as we don’t allow dogs to sleep in our beds. Our aim is to provide a fun, safe, and relaxed home-from-home where your dog gets plenty of attention, play, and care while you’re away. We look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! We have an enclosed garden and lots of walks in our area to take your dog on.

About: I am accustomed to caring for dogs and cats and have often looked after pets for friends and family. I am passionate about animal welfare and would be pleased to offer dependable pet care services to others who need support while away from home ❤️ I am working, but happy to look after the pets who can stay at home when I am at work, also free at the weekends. Due to the size of my flat, I can only accommodate smaller dogs and cats. Larger dogs generally need more space than I can't provide comfortably. I will ensure that any pets in my care receive safe, loving, and attentive environment ❤️

Koko and his family were absolutely wonderful! They kept us updated regularly, and it was clear our dog was having the best time. They respected his routine, adapted to his individual needs, and cared for him with so much love and attention. Seeing how happy and relaxed he was gave us complete peace of mind. This was our dog’s very first stay away from us since we rescued him, and it couldn’t have gone better. It was obvious that he enjoyed every single moment with them. We can only recommend Koko and his family!

We booked our golden doodle Freddie for a three night stay with Elizabeth and I can only say how delighted we are with the care and affection our wee doodle received. From the initial meet n greet, a few days before his stay, Freddie was warmly welcomed into the family and very quickly settled with Elizabeth. He was spoiled all weekend with woodland walks, sniffing safaris at the local park and even a trip to Loch Lomond for a dip! With lovely photos and regular updates on his stay we felt so reassured that he was in safe hands and having a great time with an experienced dog lover! We’re so pleased to have found Elizabeth and Freddie is looking forward to his next stay already!

Dannii provided a reliable and professional service for our 7 month old kitten Rosie. She visited us to meet Rosie and we showed her where everything would be in terms of food/cat litter supplies. We booked Dannii for 8 visits in total, she is is quick to respond to messages and as first time users of "Cat in a Flat" we enjoyed the report cards of each visit where she wrote about Rosie and added new pictures from each visit. Dannii provided an excellent service to Rosie and cared and played with her at each visit. When we returned home Rosie was her usual happy, relaxed and playful self which we feel is a strong sign of the excellent care she received from Dannii. We would highly recommend Dannii and we would book her for cat sitting again in the future.

Our aim is to provide a safe, caring home where your cat feels secure and well looked after while you're away. We've spent many years caring for a variety of family pets and have experience with animals of different temperaments and care requirements. About: I have been fortunate to grow up around many different animals and I couldn’t imagine not having animals in my life. I regularly look after cats and dogs for friends and family while they are on holiday. I have experience with many different animals, for example I worked abroad teaching horse riding. I currently own a rescue dog who was nervous of people and dogs which has given me extensive knowledge with reactive dogs and I have completed training on this. I have had and currently have animals that require medication so I ensure all pet care requirements are met. Animals are my passion and I follow this up with different courses such as canine massage therapy. I want to help people provide the best care to their dogs and any others pets. I currently work full-time but have quite a lot of holidays from work throughout the year. I would be available after 5pm on weekdays and anytime weekends. If you require a different time please message as we may be able to arrange a time. As I have experience with reactive dogs I understand body language well and will ensure the safety of your dog when out on walks. I am happy to follow any rules or guidance you have when visiting your home and looking after your dog.

About: I had 6 cats over the years. One of them, Grey, was diagnosed with a condition which meant he wouldn’t live past 6 months. He was given the best diet possible and care needed to see him through. This year he have his sweet 16! He lives in comfort with my parents back home in Ukraine. I miss him everyday and I’d love to experience the curious and sometimes chaotic nature that cats have! You can be assured that your cat will be pampered, played with and loved. About: I have experience with high energy dogs with my 5 year old border collie, and my friends and family have dogs of various breeds. I have grown up around dogs of all ages, my aunt bred border collies and trained them for shows, and I enjoyed getting involved with their training. Currently on maternity leave and my partner is studying mostly from home, so always someone around for company. We love to get outdoors to walk our 5 year old border collie with our 6 month old daughter (always supervised with dogs and is very respectful), usually over the Kilpatrick Hills or Balloch Country Park. We have a large fenced garden and a 5 year old border collie for your pets to make friends with! We’re always up for a snuggle, dogs welcome on furniture but can hold boundaries if that is preferred. We have multiple crates and can separate dogs in different rooms if required.

We were up from Bedfordshire for a funeral and didn't want to leave our dog behind. Rebecca met us the day before where we introduced Willow to her and Ossie. She is a lovely person and left us in no doubt that Willow would be well cared for. We had to extend the visit with her and she accommodated this without any extra charge. We don't like being apart from our Willow but should we have to book doggy day care again, it will be with Rebecca. Thanks very much!

About: Golden Family Dog Sitting
Hey, guys, my name is Julie, and my partner Chris and I currently have three stunning Golden retriever babies who are our absolute world.
I have been fostering for Irish Retriever Rescue for the last 3 years as well as doggy sitting for close friends and family. I made the decision to officially do what I love and that's looking after fur babies of all kind 🥰 full time.
I offer boarding and when looking after your fur baby they will not be left alone throughout there stay and will have the adventures that they will just keep yapping about after you come and collect them🤭.
We are looking to offer that home away from home experience for your pups holiday with us. Our three love to meet new friends and have playtime all the time. We have experience with all types of dogs from fostering and puppy sitting and our three themselves.
We make sure that all dogs daily are comfortable providing them with 2 walks a day and a visit to our local dog field to get all the zoomies out.
We will take instructions from yourself on feeding and treats, all dogs have free roam of the house and Garden, but again we like to make sure everyone is safe so always make sure that at least one of us is present with the dogs at all times.
We like to always do an introduction with our dogs first before the holiday just to make sure everyone is introduced and there's no issues while doing this we always love to get more information and stories about your pup to make sure we provide the best experience when they come.
In case of any emergencies or injuries we always have a pet first aid box on hand and our vets is only 10 minutes away if necessary but thankfully have never had any issues to require the vet.
Also have experience with excitable dogs, nervous dogs and have small experience with resource guarding that was corrected by ourselves.
Normal daily routine for ourselves is garden toilet time while breakfast is being prepared, once we full belly's and a little time to digest its times for our morning walk which is usually around 45 minutes to an hour, after returning from our morning walk it's fun time play time during the week I myself am at home with all dogs and make sure to have playtime with toys and out in our spacious garden which is fully fenced and secure.
Around 5pm we proceed to have dinner time in which I make sure to feed all dogs and usually once Chris returns home at 6 we take all dogs out to the Run free dog fields for an hour we tend to fetch or if we are feeling energetic we like to run round with the dogs with a little game of tag lol once our time is up we normally try and settle down for the evening all dogs have the freedom of the house so where ever they feel comfortable they can choose to relax for the evening but we do make sure to have regular garden breaks until it is time for our night time walk which is normally around 10pm again for around 45 minutes.
Once that is complete it's time for our beds we have a number of dog beds throughout the house and also dogs have the option to sleep where they are most comfortable. Weekends tend to be slightly different as we tend to go on adventures whether to the beach a first walk or hike to give the dogs a great adventure to enjoy.
If you have any questions, feel free to message me ☺️ I will doing this as my full time job offering all dogs in my care my 100% attention making sure all dogs are safe and given the best care possible I have a fully fenced garden which wrap rounds the house giving the dogs amble space to run and have when we are home. I have 2 friendly golden retrievers who are more than welcoming to all dogs and are experienced in dealing with many personalities with us fostering for the last 3 years. We make sure to always offer a safe environment for dogs and a home away from home giving them walks adventure and fun at our local dog field which is fully secure so everyone is able to burn off plenty of energy and run to there’s heart content. All dogs have free rain of the home and someone with them 24/7.

It was so lovely to know LIndy was being well looked after by Vicki on Easter Day which enabled me to see my family as she is not comfortable in the close up company of my small grandchildren or my son's large and lively young dog. She is a quirky little dog and Vicki gave her 5 star attention to keep her calm!

About: I have been a dedicated pet owner my entire life, which he sadly recently passed away, and have a deep love and understanding of animals. My personal experience includes caring for my own beloved dog for 15 years, during which I was responsible for all aspects of his well-being, including daily walks, feeding schedules, medication administration, and regular veterinary visits. This long-term commitment has provided me with practical, hands-on experience in managing a dog's routine and adapting care as they age. I am comfortable with dogs, for I had a Staffie and can provide compassionate, reliable, and attentive care tailored to your pet’s specific needs with lovely walks surrounded my place. Your pet will be well looked after and loved. I am a stay at home person and do things from home apart from on a Thursday I am out 10am-2pm, and on a Friday night I work 6pm-10pm. I am in a smoke free home, one level flat, ground floor with a large back garden that is fenced and many lovely nature walks surrounding me. It's a warm cosy home, and plenty room for cuddles.

About: I have always owned dogs (Jack russels) however amongst all friends and family I am the dog whisperer And always the dog sitter. Whenever they go away. My daughter attends nursery every morning mom-Fri so at the moment I’m a stay at home mum. So this is a perfect solution. I can have 121 time with dog and big long walks before pick up. Any animal that comes into my home is treated as part of the family. No questions asked. The love we both have for dogs will soon calm the nerves. I consider your baby’s time with me to be their vacation as well, so I make it as fun as possible for both of us! I can’t wait to meet your fur baby!

About: Growing up on a farm started my lifelong love of animals! I’ve had dogs in the house since I can remember, and all sorts of animals ranging from cows to peacocks in the garden. As an adult, I’ve house-sat, and dog walked for the last 15 years, and I now live with my partner, daughter and dog in Helensburgh before hopefully returning to the countryside one day. My partner and I are available to dog walk, house-sit and (if your furry friend gets on with our own dog and animal loving 3 year old) board your pet in our home. We have a beautiful garden for playing in, and know some great walks both locally and further afield, to give your pup the very best experience while you’re away. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your lovely pets! Please get in touch if you have any questions or think my partner and I might be able to help! X My partner and I are self employed, so we are able to be flexible with your pet’s needs! Please get in touch if you have any specific questions or scheduling needs. We have a fenced garden, a friendly dog, and an animal loving 3 year old to give your pet all the love and attention they could possibly need. If they need a slightly slower pace, my partner or I can also look after your pet in your own home and their own space.

About: I grew up with dogs from my grandparents collies to our family labradors and now my own cockapoo. Dogs bring me a lot of happiness and I love chilling out with my furry friends. I have over 20 years of experience looking after dogs and I understand the importance of making sure your dog is safe with someone else when they can’t be with you. I use Rover myself when I need someone to watch me dog and so would like to help others out too. I work full time where I am required to be in the office twice a week. Those days are flexible so I can usually work around requests for dog sitting. I have a decent sized house and garden for your dog to relax in and they will have company with me and my cockapoo. I live in a very quiet residential area with a fenced garden. Your dog will be on lead at all times when out on a walk with me.

I understand that every dog has their own personality and routine, so I always take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable and loved. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, cuddles or sticking to a specific schedule, I’ll care for your dog as if they were my own. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can have complete peace of mind while you’re away. I take my little girl to nursery at 9am till 2:45pm so I am free during the day and free most weekends and my love getting outdoors as much as possible. About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life. From a young child, I would lie in my dogs beds and play with them over any human. I have been asked by various family members and friends to look after their furry friends over anyone else. I understand all types of dogs and their needs and I guarantee that I will become their new best friend 🤍 I currently work in a dog friendly bar, zero hours with a very flexible schedule. If possible, plenty of notice prior to booking would be fab. Give me a message and we can work out dates that accommodate both of us. I would prefer coming to you when possible. I am willing to travel to you. Your dog will be my only focus and priority and I am more than happy to schedule prior visits for your furry friend to get familiar with me. Depending on your dogs needs I can provide walks, or if not we can stay in the garden or even snuggle up on the couch together.

About: We understand that leaving your dog with someone else is a big decision, which is why we're committed to providing a safe, loving, and relaxed home-from-home environment for every dog in our care. Over the years, we've cared for a wide variety of family pets and have hands-on experience with animals of all ages, personalities, and needs. Alongside owning pets ourselves, we've looked after a range of dog breeds, as well as cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and even a tortoise. My wife, Kirsty, also works in a pet shop, where she has gained valuable experience caring for and advising on the wellbeing of many different animals. To give you even greater peace of mind, I am certified in Canine First Aid and CPR, ensuring I'm prepared to respond quickly and appropriately should an emergency ever arise. We know that every dog is unique, so we'll always take the time to understand their routine, personality, and individual needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, plenty of playtime, or simply relaxing with lots of fuss and cuddles, we'll make sure they feel happy, secure, and part of the family throughout their stay. Pet sitting fits naturally into our routine, allowing us to dedicate quality time and attention to every pet in our care. As I work Monday to Friday during term time, we primarily offer weekend pet care, making us an ideal choice for weekend breaks, weddings, family visits, and short getaways. We also have additional availability during school holidays and selected weekdays throughout the year. When your pet stays with us, they'll be welcomed into our home and cared for as if they were one of our own. We'll take the time to follow their usual routine, provide plenty of love, enrichment, exercise, and cuddles, and ensure they feel safe, relaxed, and happy while you're away. Your pet's safety, comfort, and wellbeing are always our highest priorities. Our home is pet-free, allowing us to give your pet our full attention and providing a calm environment without the added stress that some animals can experience when meeting unfamiliar pets. We're fortunate to live close to plenty of green spaces and scenic walking routes, giving dogs lots of opportunities for enjoyable walks, exercise, mental stimulation, and play in a safe environment. Whether your pet enjoys energetic adventures or a slower-paced stroll with plenty of sniffing, we'll tailor their walks to suit their individual needs and routine. Inside our home, your pet will have a clean, comfortable, and welcoming space where they can relax, feel secure, and enjoy plenty of love and attention throughout their stay.

About: With my Dad who races pigeons and an Auntie who rescues dogs and used to volunteer with The Dog's Trust, I am one of the lucky ones who has grown up around animals their entire life. We kept budgies and rabbits, a dog and a cat. I had neighbours who asked me to look after their guinea pig, and another who asked me to look after their Yorkshire Terrier, I have wide experience with different animals and on different terms, including overnight stays and daily meal time visits, or just as a companion for a few hours. My boyfriend is always catching me talking to various dogs and our cats when we are out on walks. I'm currently working from home as a freelance photographer which gives me a pretty flexible weekly routine. I live close to a number of parks for walks, but also close to public transport for home visits.I As previously mentioned, I have been entrusted with things like staying overnight to look after a friend's cats, dropping by to check in with pet wellbeing and keeping them company for a few hours and dishing up meal time. Additionally, as someone very fond of nature, dog walks are something I really miss about moving to the city from the Scottish Highlands where I grew up with said cat, dog, rabbits, budgies and pigeons.

Bethany provided a lovely home for Dexter. He settled quickly and enjoyed his short stay. Bethany took him out for regular walks and kept me updated with how Dexter was and sent plenty of photos. I would definitely use her again in the future.

My crazy spaniels absolutely love staying with Jen! She makes them feel so completely at home, while being totally unfazed by whatever madness they go on with.

Great service once again from David. David looked after our dog Luna for just over 2 weeks. We always felt she was in safe hands and he kept in regular contact with us to let us know she was doing well complete with photos and videos. I would recommend David to others looking for a pet sitter.

Brilliant! This was the first time we left our girls Callie and Willow with anyone other than family. Michaela was amazing! She kept us updated with pictures and as soon as the girls walked in the door they were at ease with her. I’m not too sure if they wanted to leave to be honest 😂 Highly recommend!!

About: As a child, I never had a dog or cat of my own, despite begging my parents. So, I made up for it by walking my friends’ dogs as I loved animals. My mum then got a greyhound six years ago, and he was the best thing to happen to our family, so I spent my days looking after him. I wish to continue to do so in any way I can, whether it be dog walking or sleepovers. I am more than happy to help. I look forward to seeing the adventures your furry friend and I will go on, whether that be a local walk or taking your dog to the national park local to me. I am really looking forward to hearing from you! - Marina I currently working hybrid/remote from home so I’ll have plenty of time to look after your lovely pets! I have every weekend off too (: I can take your dog for local walks or i can take your dog to Loch Lomond or Balloch castle which is perfect for dog walking, your dog can wander around, play and swim too (: I will always create a route tailored to your dogs needs and abilities. At home, your pet will be allowed to wander the house freely. We have a good back and front garden where they can play and go out whenever they’d like.

Fiona was a great sitter for our Harry. She kept us up to date, bathed Harry due to skin issues and he loved his time there. So grateful to Fiona and her family for taking great care of him.

About: I've been surrounded by dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, and caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. Growing up, we always had dogs at home, and I helped raise them from puppies—looking after them, training them, taking them on walks, and making sure they were happy, healthy, and loved. We also spent a lot of time in the countryside, where being around dogs became a natural part of everyday life. Since moving to Scotland, I've continued caring for the dogs and pets of my friends and family whenever they've needed help. I genuinely love spending time with animals and treat every dog as if they were my own. Unfortunately, because of previous travel commitments, I wasn't able to have a dog of my own. I live in a fantastic area surrounded by parks, green spaces, and the Clyde Canal, so there are plenty of beautiful places for walks and adventures. I also have a secure garden where dogs can safely play and relax. I understand that trusting someone with your beloved dog is a big decision. I will always care for your dog with patience, kindness, and genuine love, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well looked after while they're with me. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply relaxing by someone's side, I'll make sure they have the best possible experience. I currently work remotely from home, which means I have a flexible schedule and can provide your dog with plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. I'm available during weekdays, weekends, and evenings, so your dog will rarely be left alone and will always have someone nearby to look after them. I live in a peaceful cottage flat in a wonderful area surrounded by parks, green spaces, and the Clyde Canal, providing the perfect setting for daily walks, exercise, and new adventures. I also have a secure, enclosed garden where dogs can safely play, explore, or simply relax. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your beloved pet. I will always care for your dog with patience, kindness, and genuine affection, following their usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable, safe, and at home. My goal is to give every dog a happy, stress-free experience while providing you with complete peace of mind. Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my highest priorities. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, so I will care for them with the same patience, kindness, and attention that I would give my own. I take the time to understand each dog's routine, personality, and individual needs, including feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and any special instructions, so they can feel as settled and comfortable as possible. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply relaxing in a quiet space, I'll make sure they receive the care and attention that's right for them. My home is a calm, safe, and dog-friendly environment with a secure enclosed garden for supervised play, and I'm surrounded by parks, green spaces, and the Clyde Canal for enjoyable daily walks. Dogs are never left unattended in the garden, and I'll always ensure they are secure and comfortable both indoors and outdoors. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe, and being well looked after while you're away.

Laura and Luke were absolutely brilliant with Clement. We contacted them relatively last minute as we had a last minute change of plans for the weekend and had to travel to Paisley from near Birmingham with our beloved doggo in tow. The communication was spot on throughout, quick, clear and everything was really easy to arrange. They were so welcoming with Clement and completely unfazed by the fact that, while he’s incredibly friendly, he also comes with a generous helping of fur, slobber and love! They took him out on adventures during the day and he came back very happy, content and clearly very well looked after. In fact, I’m not entirely convinced he missed us at all! We felt completely comfortable leaving him with Laura and Luke and would happily recommend them. Thank you both for taking such lovely care of him! 🐾
