“We couldn’t thank Jack enough for looking after our family Dog, Narla! We would 100% recommend him, we booked Jack quite last minute and he was very accommodating and I was able to meet and greet Jack in his home prior to Narla staying for the weekend, which put my mind at ease knowing she would be well looked after! Jack sent regular updates and photos throughout and treated Narla like his own! Thanks again, we will be rebooking 😊 x”

“Sonia and her husband great the dogs well. Both dogs really excited to see them. Happy to leave me and go with them. I had nice photos and updates when they were away. Both dogs looked very happy. Sonia is very patient with Pixie who can be very needy. Pickles also pushed boundaries at times but Sonia very relaxed about this. 2 very happy dogs. Very happy with care they were given. Would highly recommend. Thank you”

“I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog received! From the very beginning, it was clear that my sitter genuinely loves animals and takes their responsibility seriously. Katie kept me updated with regular messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. My dog came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well looked after. It’s obvious they were given plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I also really appreciated how professional and reliable the sitter was—everything was smooth and stress-free from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend Katie to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after their pet. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Such a lovely couple I would definitely recommend these two. Unfortunately we had slight issues with the my males dogs being territorial over my female with there male dog which I've never seen before from my dog but I now know this for the future. This issue was handled amazing and they both worked with me to sort it out as this was first time it has happened both friendly kind and always stay in contact xx. Thank you again”

“Erminia is absolutely brilliant! Dotty my cockerpoo had an amazing time whilst in her care. Dotty settled straight away and I received updates and photos which was lovely. Highly recommened for anyone looking for someone to look after their dogs. Thanks Erminia!!”

“Jhenelle and her family took such good care of Poppy, I was genuinely worried that Poppy wouldn't want to come home! The communication from Jhenelle was excellent from before we met and throughout the time we were away. We had regular updates and were reassured that Poppy was having a great time. From the moment Poppy arrived at Jhenelle's home she was a very relaxed and happy dog. I look forward to booking Poppy in again in the knowledge that she will be so well looked after by Jhenelle and her family.”

“Amy was a wonderful host to Charlie, and he came back to me happy and exhausted from a lot of walks and play! Amy and her lovely family obviously adore dogs and I would be delighted to have them look after Charlie again.”

“Dianne and Dave (and Mabel) took amazing care of my Alfie while I went away. Dianne kept sending my photos as requested and he was always happy and playful. After 24 hours he had made himself right at home and was one of the pack. It is good to know someone can love him (almost) as much as I do. Thank you Dianne.”

“Benji came home very happy and tired after his weekend with Kieran and Otis. Kieran was very communicative both during the booking process and throughout the weekend sending updates and photos of Benji settling in and on his walks. An excellent pet sitter we will definitely ask again.”

About: Hi I'm izzy! I live with 3 other lovely vet students (although just me taking care for pet-sitting), I don't own any pets during term time so very much always looking to take care of some animals! I've pet-sat on and off through vet school, most of these have been dogs. When back at home in Lincoln, I am the proud owner of two cuddly cats called Chutney and Pickle, and previously my big fluffy shepherd, Murphy. We are very familiar with all types of animals at the vet school, young and old, and I am perfectly happy giving medications or any other requirements, just let me know. I live a 5 minute drive from the Leahurst university campus, so always available at lunch times and for quick checkups! I am free for long scenic walks at evenings and weekends. The garden is fenced in (greyhound proof!). The kitchen/living room has space for large dog beds, with upstairs offering large and quiet rooms for pets to relax in. I do not currently own any of my own pets.

“Robyn is absolutely amazing! Communication is excellent, we were getting updates every day and that has put our minds at ease while we were away. Benji was very happy with his little holiday too! Robyn made him feel instantly comfortable. Exceptional pet handling skills! Would definitely give Robyn more stars if I could! Highly recommend!”

“Absolutely outstanding boarding experience for My Shih-Poo! Marianna and the girls were all incredible and I’m so lucky to have found them. Highly recommended and delighted with the care and love they gave my dog. 10/10 - thank you so much”

“Opie had a great stay! From the start, everything felt really professional—they provided a form to fill out and arranged a meet and greet beforehand, which gave me a lot of confidence. During his day and overnight stay, I was kept regularly updated on how Opie was doing and what he was getting up to, which I really appreciated. It made me feel relaxed knowing he was in good hands. Overall, a very positive experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommend!”

“Absolutely fantastic dog sitter! I booked with Abbey at very short notice, just the day before, and she was so accommodating and happy to take my dogs in. From the photos and updates, it was clear they were having a brilliant time and were very well looked after. She took them for walks, played with them, fed them and made sure they were settled and comfortable. It was such a relief knowing they were in safe hands, and I really appreciated how flexible and caring she was. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Abby and would definitely book with her again. “Jade looked after our anxious cat who acts up when she’s alone, she dealt with food, water, litter (however most of the time wasn’t in the litter which I feel terrible she cleaned up every time!!) and sat with her outside in the garden. Thanks Jade!”

“Chloe is a lovey person and my cats were well looked after, even my shy cat took to Chloe and sent me great photos of them both. You would be lucky to get to her to look after your pets, they would be in great hands.”

“Your a Star! Not only did Matt come over before I went away to get the key, say hi to Bunny, and see where the cat food was kept etc. Matt while I was away, gave my cat some fuss, washed the cat feeder boles and also helped me with a sudden fly invasion to which I'm so grateful for. Thank you Matt!”

“Rebecca was excellent and easy to contact. Our cat is a rescue and very timid, but settled very quickly with Rebecca and was very content. She kept us well informed of how things were going. I would definitely ask her to look after Saffron again.”

“This is the 2nd time Jessica has watched Unagi and Kitty. Jessica does a great job with Unagi and Kitty. Always sends updates and pictures . Would recommend Jessica as she’s a great cat/house sitter and I never have any concerns or issues and that’s so important when away from our loved four pawed ones.”

About: I’ve had cats for many years and are missing them more than ever now moving to uni! Back at home I would regularly drop in and care for my neighbours cats while they were away. As a vet student I am of course also experienced with them in a clinical setting.

About: Robyn Lind and Keira Southwood 🐾 We are both final year veterinary students and have undertaken 38 weeks of work experience. We have been working with animals since we were little. We have both worked at catteries as a part of our placements. We have both looked after cats for friends, family and neighbours and are open to discussing the level of care that your pet needs beforehand so that we can give them as much attention as they need! We plan to invest into more treats and enrichment for your feline family members as we continue our journey on Rover!

“Jack is brilliant with my puppy Mabel. He’s very kind, reliable and I know she’s in good hands when I leave her with him. She is super excited anytime she sees him walking through the door 🥰”

About: I have completed several weeks of work experience at catteries, as well as having had my own cats. I have learned about animal behaviour and welfare at university, and am happy to look after cats with different personalities!

About: I’ve lived with cats my whole life - My first being Moggy Mog, who was there when I was born & I grew up around. She was a beautiful Black Persian / Siamese cat who lived for over 20 years & was a perfect cat to for me to learn about the different trials & tribulations that can come with loving animals. After Moggy Mog, we took in a rescue - Jasmine, who was very reserved at first, but quickly came out of her shell over the years she was with us & ended up being the softest lap cat. She was a great lesson in the needs of more anxious cats. When I moved out & after university, I rescued my own cat, Squeak a Black & White British Shorthair. She was already an elderly cat with complex needs & she lived with me for 5 wonderful years. She unfortunately had a lot of medical needs & needed daily medications & regular veterinary visits in order to keep her healthy & happy, but caring for her during this time is one of the most rewarding things I have done with my life to date & I treasure every day that I was able to spend with her. Cat's have always been drawn to me & my family often joke that they seek me out! I'm always stopping for them whenever I see them out & about & when on holiday, the cat seeking mode goes into overdrive! I’m calm, patient, & if they wish, very attentive & happy to give them lots of strokes & cuddles. I'm well attuned to the little things that matter to older or anxious cats: quiet routines, gentle handling, litter-box monitoring, appetite checks, and on-time medication. I treat each & every cat like as I would my own & am very happy to keep owners updated with photos & messages to help you feel in-the-loop whilst you're away. I am of course comfortable & used to following detailed care instructions or working with vets where needed, so you can be confident everything will be sorted out exactly as you'd want. If your cat is young, high-energy senior, shy, needs extra love and attention or wants their won space entirely, but still needs things looking after for them, I’ll provide the same devoted, love & care I gave to all the cats that have been in my life.

“Dianne is the loveliest person and an instant hit with my cat, Stan - who is normally quite reserved around new people! Dianne is caring, reliable, and has taken all the worry out of leaving Stan for the period that I was away. Can’t thank Dianne enough and I look forward to rebooking in the future!”

About: I’ve cared for cats of every kind since I was 10. Friends, family and neighbours have always trusted me to look after their cats, from feeding and playing to giving them plenty of love and attention. I understand that every cat is different, and I’m happy to follow their individual routines and give them the space they need. I’m patient, gentle and reliable, and I’ll always treat your cat as if they were my own.

About: Hi I'm Bekki! I'm a 32 year old outdoors and adventure lover and have recently returned to the UK after 3 years of working and travelling the world. I'm lucky enough to have been trusted with peoples pets all over Canada and Australia and now that I'm back on home soil, I'd love to care for yours! As I'm not in the position to have a pet of my own own currently, it's lovely for me to have the opportunity to look after others as if they were my own. I'm currently offering dog walking services and drop ins for pets, and can do overnight stays at your home. I'm based in Willaston and can arrange a meeting beforehand so that your pets get to know me. I'm good with all types of dogs/cats, whether they want a good stroke or like to be left alone. I've always been around dogs and have experience with larger breeds as well. I also have a Level 3 qualification in animal management as well as experience in kennels/catteries and rescue sanctuaries.

About: I have grown up around animals. My childhood pet was a ginger and white rescue cat we named Jasper who was a real character! As an adult we adopted a beautiful rescue cat Molly who we sadly lost 3 years who was a tuxedo cat at the grand old age of 18! Now she really was a character with lots of funny adventures that she would get into and we often talk about her with fond memories. We now have a male black and white cat that we call ‘the boss’ as he really is. He rules the roost over all us humans and our beautiful black Labrador called Max. Max is a friendly, loving black Labrador with a LOT of love to give!!! He is neutered and well socialised. I would be delighted to take care of your precious cat or dog whenever required. I hold an enhanced DBS which I will show you on our first meet.

About: I have regularly cat-sat for family and friends many times since I was 14. Each cat has been different and I have always ensured they feel as safe, comfortable, and well cared for when in my care. I have recently got my first cat, and I have learnt so much from caring for her.

“Katie was absolutely amazing with my two rescue cats I cannot recommend her enough! One of my cats is very nervous and hides but warmed up to her immediately. They liked her so much they both tried to follow her when she left the house! She followed all my requests perfectly and sent me pics and videos of how happy they were, will 1000% be rebooking her, thank you so much for taking care of my babies Katie x”

About: Life time dog owners. My Wife, Rebecca and I Have cared for elderly relatives, friends and neighbours pets. New start up caring for dogs commercially. Mrs is a Student Social worker. Mr works shifts. So between us we have spare hours that we would love to help people with their 4 legged family members. As Rover has helped us in the past with our Beagle. We are a working family. Mr B has 4-5 days blocks of no work. And Mrs B works part time around Uni and Mr B's work. Our routine is dog walks post the school run for our 6 year old. We walk our beagle anywhere from 30-60 minutes of a morning. And another walk in the evening. Usually around 17.00. For overnight board. We would stick to your specific feeding times. And evenings post walk would generally be chilled. Cuddles on the couch. Maybe a treat or two. And bed by 22.00. We have a fenced front and rear garden. Our Beagle sleeps in his crate for if we over night board. There will be privacy and space for them to sleep peacefully. We would happily walk your pets with our boy. If you do have a nervous or anti social dog we may not be your best option. But we would certainly consider any adapted care. Our boy is friendly but he's a boisterous and curious beagle. *Important* our only breed we cannot over night board or have over for day care are German Shepards. Our dog does not react well to them. Nor they to him. Not encountered this reaction with any other breed.
“Bailey was really well looked after and had a fantastic walk at the beach with lots of new sniffs to take in. He had a bit of an upset tummy from eating fox muck the day before but fortunately no accidents in the house & just a bit of diarrhea on the walk. Sonia was really accommodating as I let her know before the visit. I would highly recommend her to anyone. *****”

About: Myself and my partner, Hayden, have grown up around dogs our entire lives and adore their company. We have experience of puppies all the way through to elderly dogs, well-behaved and those with behavioural issues. We have both been zookeepers in the past too so that really shows our love for animals and understanding of animal behaviour. We are both good with training, providing play and enrichment, and ensuring the environment is suitable depending on your dog’s needs. Our own dog just adores other dogs. She is a 2 year old German Shepherd x Rottweiler, and is still a playful pup. For this reason we do not accept the smallest dogs just in case her play is too boisterous. As you can tell in the photos, we are active people who love a long walk, and enjoy providing enrichment and play time. I am currently working full time from home, so will always be available to meet your dog’s needs. Also, my partner is around more often to provide care if I was to have a meeting. We are huge dog lovers so your dog can really treat our home like their own, including sofa cuddles, playing with our dog and joining us on days out. As we have a dog of our own, we will always fit a walk into our day. This can be done however best suits your dog I.e. multiple short walks or one big long walk. We would allow your dog to sleep anywhere downstairs in our home. Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs upstairs as this is very much our cat’s domain. We can ensure that our dog is kept separate to yours overnight though if this is best. Our home has a fenced garden with ample space to play with our resident dog. Our home is a work in progress, so we are not precious about anything. If something is damaged by your dog we will not blame them or punish them. We also don’t expect a perfectly trained dog.
“David was brilliant! Freddie our mini Dachshund stayed with him for 3 days for day care and David took such good care of him! He gave regular updates, was amazing at communication and provided a summary of Freddie’s day at the end of each stay. He seems to know a lot and genuinely care about dogs. We will definitely book him again 🙂”

“Robert was very kind with Otto. He respected my wishes. I am also very grateful he took Otto without a meet and greet beforehand as we were 200 miles from home and had to attend a family event at short notice. Thank you Robert”

“Jhenelle saved the day accommodating my last minute request for day care, not to mention the long hours it entailed! Jhenelle welcomed me and my Winston into her home and provided me with photos and videos throughout the day! This provided reassurance and peace of mind that my Winston was happy and settled. Winston had a fantastic time with Jhenelle and her beautiful family… her little girl took very good care of him, playing with him and making sure he had lots of treats! 😅 My Win appeared very happy and content following his visit… We will defiantly be returning and we certainly recommend… your pet will be in good hands! 10 Stars from me and my Win and thanks again Jhenelle….”

“Francesca was amazing with my Puppy he had the best day with Francesca and her 8 month old golden retriever puppy, perfect for socialisation for my 14 week old puppy being with the older dog. Francesca has a beautiful home and large safe garden perfect for any puppy or dog to stay. I had a lovely update with photos to show me that Dixie my pup was doing ok which was nice to see. I will be using Francesca again 🐶 Highly recommend Francesca 🐶💙”

“Rebecca was very quick in response and flexible. My pup was well looked after and had no doubt he was in good hands. Rebecca sent updates in the day so i knew he was safe. Would absolutely use her services again! *****”
“We needed a last minute daycare for our beloved Fuji and Dianne was available to provide a top notch TLC. Fuji had a pawsome time with Dianne and Mabel, enjoying the sun, swimming in the local park, and getting lots of cuddles on the sofa. Fuji was a happy and tired dog in the evening :)”

About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs through supporting family and friends with their pets. More recently, I have also been raising my own Fox Red Labrador since he was just 8 weeks old. Through daily training, exercise, socialisation, and care, I’ve gained valuable hands-on experience in meeting the needs of an energetic young dog. I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and creating a safe, loving environment where dogs feel relaxed, secure, and part of the family. My Labrador is friendly, well-trained, and enjoys spending time with other dogs, making our home a welcoming place for canine visitors. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, enrichment activities, or simply relaxing in a comfortable home, I will tailor their care to suit their individual needs and routine. I treat every dog as if they were my own, ensuring they receive plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and care throughout their stay. For your peace of mind, I’ll provide regular updates, photos, and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe, and in caring hands. My days are structured around feeding, walks, playtime, training, and making sure he gets plenty of exercise, attention, and mental stimulation. I work full-time, but I have the flexibility to work from home when needed. This allows me to be available to care for dogs in my home and ensure they receive the attention, companionship, and supervision they need throughout the day. When caring for dogs in my home, I aim to keep their routine as close as possible to what they're used to. I'll follow the owner's instructions regarding feeding times, exercise, sleeping arrangements, medications, and any special requirements. Ive had my Fox Red Labrador that I have raised since he was 8 weeks old, so I'm experienced in the daily care, exercise, training, and attention that dogs need. Dogs staying with me will receive plenty of companionship, regular toilet breaks, exercise, playtime, and lots of affection throughout the day. Safety is my top priority, and I always take the time to help dogs settle in and feel comfortable in their surroundings. I understand that every dog is different, so I adapt my care to suit their personality, energy level, and individual needs.

“Matthew went above and beyond from the moment we met him and we couldn’t recommend him enough. What a great guy!! Even though he wasn’t feeling to good half way through the week, He made sure he didn’t let us down and completed the planned walk. My mum ended up in hospital and couldn’t look after our other dog and Matthew without any hesitation looked after her for us and put our minds at rest. Absolute genuine guy, honest and trustworthy. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable Dog walker. We will definitely be booking him in for regular walks when we get back off our holiday. Thank you so much Matthew absolute star and once again thank you so much”

“Imogen is fabulous. I was stuck last minute and asked her on 01/09/26 if you could do a walk in the 02/09/2026 and she was very accommodating even though she initially had other appointments. I trust Imogen 100% with Betty and she absolutely loves Imogen.”

About: I’ve had been a mum & sister to dogs since the day I was born <3 I have dogsat in Australia, the UK and the states for all different families ranging from one night to 2 weeks and have always had great experiences which is why i’m signed up to rover! I grew up as a mother to a boxer x mastiff cross and love love love big dogs, however at current I have two labradoodles and a staffie who have three very different, amazing (and crazy) personalities. They’re my pride and joy and I talk about them way too much probably. I work remotely full time and have full flexibility on my hours so can do walks at any time of day and would be more than happy to accommodate to any needs you have! I currently work ‘9-5’ remotely full time but have full flexibility to choose my hours, so can attend to any needs / walk schedules that your pups are used to! I usually wake up at 5:30am on weekdays as I love to get movement in before I start work and take my own pups out for walks in the evening. I can travel to wherever you are and would love to take your pup(s) on walks around the area according to their normal schedule if that’s what you think best! I would be at your house so would ask you to let me know of any safety requirements, would keep dogs on lead generally unless you were comfortable with them being let off (if they have good recall) in fenced, enclosed areas.
About: I am a final year Veterinary Medicine student at the University of Liverpool. I have been dog sitting on Rover for over a year and have recently moved to the Wirral. When not studying during term time I work part-time at a dog hotel and training facility caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments. I have owned and cared for dogs ever since I was little and have been dog sitting locally in my home town since I was 14. I also have lots of experience looking after small puppies (mostly naughty ones!) as well as senior dogs who are less mobile/deaf/blind etc. As a vet student I have a of course been trained on the first aid of dogs and have had placements looking after dogs in a clinical setting. I also have my own two family dogs (a cavapoo puppy and a very senior labradoodle) that I adore and look after every time I am home from university. I have a completely free schedule on Saturdays and Sundays. My university timetable differs each week, with some weekdays being completely free - I will keep this updated on the availability on my calendar. I live in a house with 4 other vet students who are, of course, all dog lovers. We have a large living room and kitchen and allow dogs on furniture and upstairs too. We also have a large enclosed garden with lots of grass and a good space for a run around!

About: 🏡 I know how important it is for pets to stay in a familiar environment, particularly when their owners are away. When house sitting, I'll keep your pets' normal routines as consistent as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, medication if required and plenty of company and reassurance. I’m also very respectful of your home. I’ll keep things clean and tidy, follow your instructions carefully and treat your home as if it were my own. And of course, I'll keep you updated with messages and photos while you're away, because I know how reassuring it is to see a happy face when you're missing them. ❤️ Pet care is my daily routine. As a full-time sitter, my entire schedule revolves around the needs of the animals in my care. My days are structured around your pet's specific morning, mid-day, and evening requirements—whether that means strict feeding times, frequent potty breaks, or regular exercise. They get undivided care and attention throughout the day. All you need to do is let me know how long your fur-baby is comfortable being left for in order for me to pop out and do any errands. In-Home Care & Safety Approach Maintaining Daily Routines: I follow your pet’s exact schedule for feeding, medication, walks, and bedtime. Keeping their normal routine in their familiar surroundings drastically reduces anxiety while you are away. Home Security & Safety: I treat your home with the utmost respect and vigilance. I ensure all doors, windows, and gates are locked tight whenever I leave or enter, follow alarm instructions precisely, and never invite visitors over. Pet-Proofing & Supervision: I keep a close eye on your pet to prevent trash-foraging or counter-surfing, stick strictly to your established walking routes, and keep dogs securely leashed whenever we are outside. Cleanliness & Respect: I leave your home as clean (or cleaner!) than I found it—wiping muddy paws at the door, cleaning up after meals, and handling trash/mail as instructed. Emergency Preparedness: During our initial Meet & Greet, I collect your vet's contact info, emergency contacts, and home access details so I am fully prepared for any situation. Clear Communication: I send regular updates with photos and details on how your pet is doing so you can enjoy your time away with complete peace of mind.

About: Ive had dogs for years, my last dog had Addisons disease, so I learnt to care for dogs that require medications and more observation than most. All my dogs have been spaniels, very well behelaved and friendly. I only ever have love for all types of dogs. They are precious animals and we are their world. I work irregular hours and am sometimes away on cruise ships. But when I am home, I am home all day. Normally Daphne gets 2/3 walks through the day. As well as daily training and brain stimulation. Throughout all services I will treat the pups with respect and as if they were my own. Then dependant on the service booked I will always work toward the owners daily routines or the instructions left for the care of their wonderful pet.

About: While I have no professional experience looking after dogs or cats I have had both species for my entire life growing up. I've always loved animals and felt I can connect with them. I work park time on a flexible contract and do a lot of evening weekend work so have a lot of time in my schedule to fit this in! I can't offer to care for your pets at my property but I think that looking after an animal in the space which they live is better and will help to keep them calmer and more at ease than they otherwise would be. I'm able to take on any routine or schedule that the animal has and maintain that to keep a sense of normality for your pet.

Thank you”

This issue was handled amazing and they both worked with me to sort it out as this was first time it has happened both friendly kind and always stay in contact xx. Thank you again”
