“Our dog Winston had a wonderful time with Anna and Bruno. He was very well looked after with plenty of park visits and lots of updates and videos throughout his stay. We were reassured knowing he was safe and being looked after just like he was their own dog. Winston seemed very happy and comfortable in their home when I picked him up. He will definitely be staying with Anna again.”

“Mush became part of Lauren’s family whilst he stayed there which is all a dog mum could want. Kept me updated throughout with lots of pics. Mush was spoilt rotten with lots of walks and cuddles”

“Pippin was very well looked after by Leonidas and seemed to have a lovely time and came back very happy and tired out! We appreciated the daily updates and easy communication. Many thanks!”

“Kellie and Andy were great and our black lab Alfie absolutely loved his time with them. They were very quick to reply and also asked questions to understand what Alfie needs in order to take best care of him. We got daily updates which were lovely - Alfie seemed so happy. It went so well that we’ve rebooked for our little boy to stay with them again. Would definitely recommend them, they are lovely 🐾 ♥️”

“Alessia provided a very nice and warm stay for our Bean! Providing her all the care and love that she needs. Giving us constant updates and great pictures we were very happy on how chilled it was and how easy everything went. 100% happy and totally thankful.”

“Meadow was excellent, sending updates and photos during Zelda’s stay for the week. This helped me feel reassured and happy that Zelda was in good hands, as this was her first non-family boarding experience. Zelda returned her happy and usual self, which reflects that she’s had a good time away! Would absolutely rebook with meadow for future boarding! Thank you so much!”

“Fantastic dog sitter, I would highly recommend him to everyone. So reassuring to know I’ve got my go to person to leave my dog with when I need it. 5 stars!!”

“As always, Teddy had an amazing time. Teddy can't wait to visit again. It's nice to know that we can go away and relax knowing he is safe and having fun. I would recommend to anyone.”

“This was our first time using Rover.com as we have been lucky enough to have friends and family members look after our 11 year old cockapoo Rosie in the past. I was a little nervous to leave her with someone new however, I got in touch with Leigh and after a brief chat we took Rosie to meet her at her home. Leigh and her family were welcoming and lovely and keen to know Rosie’s specific needs. She stayed with Leigh for 6 nights and we had daily updates and photos which reassured us and put our minds at rest. Rosie seemed perfectly happy and settled with Leigh and her family in their home. Communication was prompt and regular and when we picked Rosie up, Leigh seemed genuinely attached to Rosie and it seemed like that had both had a lovely time together. We would use Leigh again without a doubt and would recommend her highly to anyone who is need of a dog sitter.”

“My boy hank was so happy with Tegan and her partner, he didn't want to leave. They are real dog lovers and kept me update with messages and photos the whole time. Would definitely recommend and already booking another stay. Thank you so much xx”

“We are so grateful for Nicole. We hadn’t been away for a couple of years and didn’t expect Phoebe to respond the way she did, unfortunately she didn’t take it well and turned really defensive not allowing Nicole to get any close. We loved Nicole’s approach, she was very respectful of Phoebe’s boundaries and did what she could to make sure selle was fed. Luckily we were only away for a couple of days. Nicole was communicating with us throughout and sent us many updates on the situation. We could tell she really loves animals and wants their best. We definitely recommend her!”

“Katie was brilliant helping me out last minute. She managed to win over my very shy cat and even brought a toy for him to play with. The updates were brilliant, and Gus loved her. ”

“Lacey was great, she visited my cat for a week while I was away and sent daily updates including photos, how he was doing etc. Would recommend 100% and would count on her in the future, no doubt.”

“Charlotte & Molly are very attentive and focused on providing the best care for the pets they look after ; always communicative before and during visits, taking notes of any requirements and pay attention to details - i knew the cats would be safe & well cared for and could enjoy my holiday with peace of mind ; will definitely book them again!”

“I couldn't be happier with the care my three cats received from Marsela! From the moment we met, it was clear that Marsela genuinely loves animals and takes her responsibilities seriously. She kept me updated with regular messages and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. All three of my cats were happy, relaxed, and clearly very well looked after when I returned. Marsela took the time to understand each of their individual personalities and routines, and it really showed. My home was left spotless, and I felt confident throughout my holiday that my cats were in the best possible hands. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Marsela to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional cat sitter. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of my furry family, Marsela!”

“Very reliable, great at responding to messages and giving daily updates about our cat when we were away. Came home to a very relaxed cat. Would definitely recommend and hope that she will look after our cat again. ”

“Thank you Jess!! You were so great & Tokyo seemed very content and happy - thank you for looking after him whilst we were away. We’ll 100% be asking you for more help in the future! Would highly recommend Jess to anyone in need of a pet sitter. Jess has great communication, sent lots of pics and the house was just as we left it. Highly recommend booking Jess for any pet sitting requests!”

“Kelsey was great looking after our furbaby during a heatwave. She sent regular photos and asked us if there was anything else we needed to tackle the heat. We’ll be booking her again :)”

“Vikki was wonderful with both of my cats and having her visit them each day was a huge reassurance to me and my children whilst we were on holiday. Communication was fantastic and Vikki went the extra mile watering my plants and even trying to help fix my Catflap which malfunctioned due to a technical problem in the first few days of my holiday. She found a working solution for us until I get home. She kept me updated with photos and reports so I could see how the cats were doing and they were enjoying being fussed. All the cat food packets were cleared into the main bin and Vikki even popped my bin out on bin day. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Vikki again, or to recommend her to anyone who is looking for a reliable, friendly and caring Sitter.”

“Beatrice did a great job caring for our four cats, we came home to four very happy cats. Beatrice is very reliable and we would definitely recommend her to look after your cats.”

About: I offer reliable drop-in visits for cats, giving owners complete peace of mind while they are away on holiday or at work. I have cared for cats throughout my life and understand how important it is to respect their unique personalities, boundaries, and routines. In addition to personal experience with household pets, my background in animal husbandry and welfare gives me a calm, patient approach to feline care. During drop-in visits, I handle fresh food, water, litter box cleaning, and gentle play or quiet companionship—depending on whether your cat loves attention or prefers their own space. I am dedicated to keeping your cat safe, happy, and relaxed in their home environment.
About: I am fully licensed by Central Bedfordshire Council - CB/LANW/ 25/007638, insured, and canine first aid trained. As a lifelong animal lover, I’ve spent over 20 years caring for a wide range of breeds, from Rottweilers and Jack Russell's to Staffies, Cockapoos, and Spaniels. This experience has given me a strong understanding of different temperaments, needs, and behaviors, allowing me to tailor care to each individual dog. I provide quality stays over quantity and operate strictly as a solo home boarder, caring for one dog at a time unless they are from the same household. This ensures calm, consistent, one-to-one attention without the stress of a busy, multi-dog environment. I follow a structured onboarding process to ensure safety and suitability for both your dog and my family: Meet and greet at my home to assess compatibility. One-night trial stay to observe overnight behavior. Approval for longer bookings once suitability is confirmed. All dogs must have valid pet insurance and an up-to-date vaccination certificate before boarding. I also have an 8-year-old at home, so dogs must be comfortable and well behaved around children. You can rest assured your pet will be welcomed into a safe, loving, and well-managed home environment. Dogs in my care enjoy long country walks—often twice a day if suited to their energy levels—or shorter, gentle strolls for those who prefer a slower pace. With access to beautiful open spaces nearby, they’ll have the opportunity to explore, sniff, and enjoy the outdoors in a safe and enriching way. Throughout the day, your pet will receive plenty of attention, affection, and interaction tailored to their individual needs. Whether it’s relaxing with company, engaging in play, or following specific routines, I ensure that each pet feels happy, settled, and truly at home. Their well-being is my top priority, and I’m committed to providing a caring, consistent, and enjoyable experience while they’re in my care. When caring for pets, I offer both in-home pet sitting and care within the pet owner's home, depending on your needs. If your pet stays at my home, rest assured that I have a secure, fenced-in garden for safe outdoor play, and we are surrounded by beautiful countryside—perfect for long, enjoyable walks. I currently have no pets of my own, so your dog will have my full attention and care without the presence of other animals. For in-home services, I ensure that your pet is comfortable and follows their regular routine while you're away, providing feeding, walks, and companionship in the comfort of their familiar environment. My goal is to make your pet feel safe and loved, whether they're staying with me or I’m looking after them in your home.

“I can't recommend Alessia enough for dog sitting! She took exceptional care of my Ralph during his first daycare with her. Her warm demeanor and genuine love for dogs made me feel at ease. Ralph came back happy and well-adjusted, which speaks volumes about her attention to detail and affection. I’ll definitely be booking her again for future dog sitting! 5 stars all around! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

“A fantastic dog sitter who was so accommodating and kind. This is our second time booking and we will definitely be booking again. We were updated throughout the day with photos and a couple of videos and it was so lovely to see. She is very responsive to messages and has taken superb care of our boy. Thank you again! He had the best day 🐶 🐾 ❤️”

“Raeleen was brilliant and had to cope with an energetic pup. It was the first time our 9 month old had been away from us in day care so this increased the challenges. All credit to Raeleen controlling unwanted behaviours which she should not have had to deal with. Appreciate her commitment to fulfilling the booking.”

I’m Lydia, a lifelong animal lover who’s grown up surrounded by both cats and dogs, and now share my home with my own wonderful crew: my German Shepherd, Storm, my cat Mistletoe, three snakes — Whiskey, Princess and Titan — plus my Red-Eyed Crocodile Skink, Rexy! 🐾 I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management & Care, have professional and zoo experience, and am fully DBS checked and First Aid/CPR qualified — so you can rest assured your pets are always in safe, knowledgeable hands. I’m always at home and fully flexible, meaning I can give your pets consistent love, attention, and care throughout the whole day — whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company. Spending time with animals isn’t just a job for me; it’s my absolute passion, and I love making sure every single one feels happy, safe, and truly cherished. When I’m caring for pets, I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved — whether they’re staying in their own home or with me. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions you have. Thanks to my experience, I’m confident caring for all kinds of animals — from dogs and cats to reptiles and more — and I understand their unique needs perfectly. At my home, every pet is treated just like part of the family. I live in a secure gated community, so you can have extra peace of mind knowing it’s a safe, calm environment. They’ll get plenty of fuss, playtime, and cuddles, and will be welcomed alongside my own pets in a friendly, stress-free space. When looking after pets in their own home, I always respect your space, keep everything tidy, and stick exactly to your rules and routine. I love sending regular photo updates so you can see how happy and settled they are while you’re away! 💐🩷 I am currently still working a 9-5 but I am planning to quit that job and fully dedicate my time to looking after animals! I’m happy to come to your house to pet sit, or whatever works best for you! I’ll follow all your routines exactly, feed and play with them, and keep your home safe and secure. With my Level 3 qualification and professional experience, I know how to keep pets calm, happy and stress-free in their own space. I’m reliable, careful, and always put their comfort and safety first.

About: My hubby and I have many years pet experience between us. I ( Esther) grew up on a small holding with rabbits, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, pigs, goats, sheep, cows and horses. Andy has always had pet dogs. We have boarded dogs for Guide Dogs for 5 years and have now ventured into pet sitting and have 2 regular clients already. We are in our 50's ( just, for me!) and feel priviledged to be able to look after peoples loved ones in their own home whilst they are away. We look forward to hopefully be able to do the same for you too. We are both retired so are free and available the majority of the time Monday to Sunday including bank holidays, unless already doing another pet sit. We follow all instructions that you ask of us in terms of security and safety of your home/pets. We always keep dogs on the lead when walking them and don't take then out if the weather is too hot, unless we can do this in the cool of three day.

From the very start she has been in contact with me, making me feel at ease about leaving my fur baby and generally making the whole thing easy. Rocco loved his stay. I got regular daily updates and Lauren was always available to talk if needed. I'm happy to say I've found my person to look after Rocco whenever I need. She's an absolute diamond!”

About: I previously had a wonderful senior dog, so I understand that not every dog wants (or can manage) long walks. As he got older, we adapted his routine to suit him, with shorter, gentler walks and plenty of time to sniff and explore at his own pace. He was also deaf in his later years, so I became very aware of how important it is to approach dogs calmly and thoughtfully to avoid startling them. That experience taught me to be patient. Whether your dog is young and full of energy or enjoying their senior years, I'll always take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and happy. I'll be available Friday to Sunday evenings, making me a great option for weekend walks, drop-in visits or evening care. I'll always make sure your pet gets the time, attention and care they deserve, and I'll keep you updated throughout. Your pet's safety and happiness will always come first. I have a fully fenced, secure garden where dogs can safely enjoy some outdoor time. I'll always follow your pet's usual routine, whether that's feeding times, medication, favourite walking routes or any little quirks that make them unique. I understand that every pet is different, so I'll take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved while they're in my care.
“Very enthusiastic dog lover, based centrally in Bedford. Mafalda looked after my dalmatian/cross for 4 days. I received regular photos, videos and updates. He was very well looked after. Thank you.”
