John & Teresa looked after our ‘giant teddy bear’ Calli for 8 nights in February while we went abroad. We had previously had a one night trial to ensure all went well. Leaving a dog is a big decision - but with John & Teresa, we knew all would be well as soon as we first met them. They are true dog lovers who ensured that Calli was well looked after and given long and varied walks to keep her happy. When it came time to collect Calli, it was very clear that she had made a special bond with John & Teresa and that was lovely to see. We have already booked another 8 night stay in April. Thanks John & Teresa for taking such good care of Calli-Bear.

Tarnya and her family are amazing, my choccie lab was so happy when I collected her, infact I think she would have been happy to have stayed longer. The love and care they showed during her stay was unconditional, long walks, lots of play and cuddles and regular photo updates. She even had a wash and blow dry during her stay :). A home from home experience, I would 100% revommend and will be using again in the future. Thank you Tarnya and family xx

About: I've grown up around dogs all my life and they've always been part of my family. While I haven't owned a dog myself as an adult, I regularly care for my sister's dog, both in her home and in my own flat, so I'm comfortable with day-to-day routines, walks, feeding, playtime and providing plenty of attention and companionship. I work remotely from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the day to care for pets. This means I can accommodate daytime walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules and toilet breaks, rather than being limited to mornings and evenings. For dogs boarding with me, they will have company for most of the day and won't be left alone for long periods. I can provide regular walks, playtime and attention alongside maintaining their usual routine. I'm also available for house sitting and can work remotely from your home, allowing me to spend more time with your pet and minimize disruption to their normal environment and schedule. Your pet's safety, comfort and wellbeing are my top priorities. I live in a first-floor flat in a quiet area and take care to provide a calm and safe environment for any dog in my care. Although I do not have a garden, I live next to a canal, with plenty of nearby green space and walking routes, making it easy to provide regular exercise, enrichment and outdoor time throughout the day. As I work remotely, I am able to keep a close eye on pets in my care and ensure they receive plenty of attention and companionship. I understand that every dog has different needs and routines, and I will always follow your instructions carefully to help them feel settled, happy and secure while you're away. I'm also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind that your pet is being well looked after.

I enjoy taking long walks with my own little fella and love being outdoors. I have experience with puppies, nervous and excitable dogs. I enjoy the socialisation puppy and dog ownership brings and love nothing more than engaging with our dog walking community. I offer short walks, long walks, cuddles, play, interaction with your precious and loyal companions. Whatever the weather you will find me walking my own fur baby, teaching him to talk and having fun. I would love to walk more pooches and give them the attention and love they deserve.

About: My boyfriend and I both grew up with family dogs, and ever since moving in together had our own dog. We trained her via doggy school since she was a little pup and took her on many adventures that went as far as moving to the UK with her. We regularly looked after our families dogs as well when they went away on holiday. We unfortunately had to say goodbye to our little girl recently due to age. While we are looking for our next sweetheart, we have an abundance of love, walks and empty spots on the sofa for your furry friend! I work from home, but I occasionally have to travel for work and my partner is only 10 minutes away - both with flexible hours. This allows us to plan our days around your dogs needs! We live less then a minute walk from a big park and can easily go for multiple walks a day if they’re up to it. We also have a fully enclosed garden with space for running around. We’re flexible with your dogs needs, whether they require a crate to sleep in, prefer to sleep on the couch or on their doggy bed, just let us know. Near the end of her life, our dog became blind with different health issues. Going through this gives us experience to also take care of (senior) dogs who have a complex medical history. We have full flexibility for how we plan our working days. Whether we wake up early to go for a walk before breakfast, use our lunch break, or swap our evening sports for a long walk, we will adjust based on your dogs usual routine. With our enclosed garden, there’s plenty of playtime opportunities as well! In the weekend, we are able to make sure one of us is at home for most of the day if required. The garden is spacious and dog friendly. The house has enough room to place the dog’s personal bed or crate if needed. They are more then welcome to join us (and sleep) on our sofa as well. Feeding and walking are arranged to what they are used to, no matter how many times a day. Different medical routines are easily incorporated - experience with eye drops as well as regular pills.

About: Since I’ve loved dogs all my life, I’ve read a lot about their behaviours in my spare time. We have one dog and look after other dogs including senior dogs of family and friends, regularly. Both me and my partner Alex have had dogs since we were children. Experience with training dogs and puppies too. We have a large secure garden for roaming and sniffing. We love to go for morning and evening walks every day and there’s a great walking path close by, perfect for dog walks. On the weekends we tend to go to local parks for fresh air whatever the weather! I understand the needs of different types of dogs, whether that’s energy levels, age or personality and cater their day to suit them. It is so important to be that they feel happy and comfortable with us. If your dog needs a loving holiday home with a stable routine for a while, plus a very friendly happy well behaved dog and two children who adore dogs but give them space, then we would love to welcome your fur baby from your home to ours. Please get in touch :) I work from home with opportunity to play, cuddle and look at your fur baby. I have dog called Jasper, who loves to have friends over so will keep your dog company. We love being at home and one of us is always around. A typical day would be a morning sniff and runaround the garden first thing, or walk and then breakfast. Around lunchtime is also treat time and a little play and fuss, 5pm we’re in the kitchen/garden, and it’s playtime before dinner for dogs as and when adjusted to their needs. Finishing the day with an after dinner walk and snuggles on the sofa. I have a large fenced garden to keep your dogs safe, with my dog loving company. I can happily crate your dog if needed. We have a few areas downstairs if dogs would like their own time/ sleep without being disturbed too.

She kept me updated, was so kind and welcoming, and it was clear that Nico was well looked after and comfortable during his stay. When I picked him up, I could tell he'd been given lots of love and attention. It was such a relief knowing he was being cared for by someone I could trust. I'll definitely be booking with her again whenever I need a cat sitter. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Nico!

About: Since being a little girl, I have found so much peace being among animals. I have owned nearly every furry under the sun (dogs, cats, rabbits, guineas, mice, hamsters and more!) and love the unique personality each animal has. I have a soft spot for rescues, most of my pets have been strays and love being able to show them that the world can be a good place with the right people in it! A few years of my working life was spent in a kennels and cattery, and have recently been running a Nature School for children, where we explore and care for wildlife, animals and the world around us. It has been great to pass on my love for the animal world, to the next generation. All ages and stages of life are welcome, from pups and kittens, right through to the OAPs - and the care I offer is tailored to each animal as an individual. I will ensure I follow your instructions and care plan to ensure everyone is as happy as they can be. I've spent my entire life working with animals and children - and yes maybe you do need to be a little crazy to do that! But I do thoroughly enjoy the chaos and pure love they bring everyday. I'd be honoured to care for your beloved pets, and give you peace of mind for when you can't be there. From July, I will be working from home, so can offer the flexibility you desire. I have my children's school run twice a day, so have ample time between 9am and 3.30pm to accommodate your furry friends. I will also be available most evenings for later visits and walks if required. Weekends I can also be flexible. My large car can fit any size dog in, so can drive to green spaces for walks if desired! I have a large tiered garden, consisting of artificial turf, a bark area and decking. The house is a detached 3 bed, with 2 downstairs sitting areas, so your pets have plenty to of space to choose where they feel most comfortable.During warm weather, dogs can access an outdoor animal friendly paddling pool, and our outside space has plenty of trees to provide natural shade and a cooler temperature.

About: I've been looking after cats for friends and family since I was a teenager and have experience caring for cats with different personalities and routines. I understand that every cat is unique—some enjoy lots of interaction and playtime, while others prefer a quieter approach and their own space. When caring for cats, I'm happy to follow their usual routine, including feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, administering basic care, and spending time with them to provide companionship and reassurance while their owners are away. I know how important it is for cats to feel comfortable and secure in their own environment, so I always aim to minimise disruption and make sure they receive attentive, reliable care. I'm also happy to provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they're away.

About: I have over 15 years of personal experience caring for cats, from growing up with my family’s 12-year-old senior cat to co-owning a cat for 4 years. I truly understand feline behavior, boundaries, and how to make them feel safe. I've even successfully trained cats to walk on a leash and play treat-guessing games! I am a regular, trusted cat sitter for my friends' pets, and I recently completed a wonderful month-long boarding stay for a cat at my place. I live on my own in a large, quiet house with a big garden, making it a peaceful, stress-free environment for your pets. I have a lot of love to give and plenty of free time right now to focus entirely on your furry friends, whether they stay at my home or I visit yours. While cats are my specialty, I am also very open to hosting or visiting calm, friendly dogs to expand my care experience!

About: I have years of experience looking after pets, I grew up around cats and dogs and even looked after a family friends tortoise when they went on holiday. Nowadays I have my own cat and dog who I love and take care of every aspect of their lives, from playtime, walkies, litter trays, feeding, and administering medication. I also have experience working on a farm and assisting with looking after the farmyard animals and am attuned to their unique needs and feeding schedules. I am currently studying at university full time so I have plenty of free time to help with walks or check-ins. I keep my calendar up to date and on my days off and weekends I am flexible I take your guidelines very seriously and your pets safety is my priority. I will ensure that your dog is kept on the lead at all times and maintain good road safety. I make sure to keep them away from other dogs. I will ensure there are no escape routes from the garden when letting your cat/dog outside and that the house is secure so they cannot get into rooms they shouldn’t have access to. I keep your pets in my sight at all times and can provide updates for you.

Here’s a warm, polished review you could post: We needed someone to look after Rupert due to a change in our work commitments, and we’re so glad we found Olivia. Olivia was absolutely fantastic with Rupert. It was clear from all the photos and videos that he had an amazing time and really enjoyed spending time with both Olivia and Jasper too! Seeing how happy he was throughout the day gave us complete peace of mind. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and Olivia kept us updated with plenty of photos and videos. They really made me smile during my workday and reassured me that Rupert was having the best time. Thank you so much, Olivia, for taking such great care of Rupert. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with you again and would highly recommend you to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter.

About: Since moving out, I’ve really missed having my family dog around, so I love any opportunity to spend time with a new furry friend! Whether it’s walks, playtime, training, or plenty of cuddles, I’m always happy to give dogs the attention and care they deserve. I work from home most weekdays, which means your dog will have lots of company, supervision, and flexibility in their routine throughout the day. I grew up with dogs and have always been very comfortable understanding their different personalities, needs, and behaviours. I’ve looked after a wide range of breeds and sizes, from small dogs to very large breeds. At the moment I regularly care for a Cockapoo, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and even a Great Dane, so I’m confident handling dogs with very different temperaments and energy levels. I’m patient with puppies and young dogs who are still learning, and I’m happy to reinforce basic training, routines, and good habits. I’m also attentive and gentle with senior dogs who may need a slower pace, extra care, or medication. Above all, I’m responsible, calm, and genuinely love being around dogs. I’ll always treat your dog like they’re part of the family and make sure they feel safe, happy, and well looked after. My home feels far too quiet without a dog around! I currently work from home in a flexible role, allowing me to provide care and attention to pets during weekdays. I can schedule walks/playtime/drop ins during breaks and lunch. I am also available in evenings and at weekends. I provide safety for pets in their own homes by ensuring i have a clear understand of the pets needs and the owner’s instructions. I engage with the pet to build trust and strengthen my bond with them.

I work completely from home, which means my schedule is highly flexible and I am around all day. Your pet will never be left alone for long periods. My daily routine revolves around providing consistent companionship, sticking strictly to your feeding and medication schedules, and building in plenty of dedicated time for play, grooming, and mental stimulation (or leash walks if they are trained for it!). Because I have a lot of free time right now, your pet will truly be my top priority. In My Home: I live alone in a large, quiet house with a big, secure garden, offering a peaceful environment free from the stress of children or other resident pets. Before any stay, I meticulously pet-proof the space. Your pet will have full freedom to roam, explore, and find their favorite cozy spots. I am extremely mindful of open doors and windows to ensure absolute safety. In Your Home: I treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping everything clean and secure. During drop-in visits, I focus entirely on making your pet feel safe and loved while you are away. Communication: Trust is everything to me. I will send you daily updates, photos, and videos so you can see exactly how much fun and love your furry friend is getting!

About: Hello! I’m a lifelong pet lover who simply adores being around animals. While I don’t hold official professional certificates, I offer something just as valuable: over 10 years of genuine, hands-on experience looking after dogs from playful puppies right through to sweet seniors. I’m lucky to have a natural bond with dogs—they usually sense my love for them straight away! It’s a running joke that usually female dogs end up giving me kisses on our very first meeting. Back home, I'm a proud owner of two lovely bunnies, so my life truly revolves around animal welfare and happiness. My Doggy Experience • A Decade of Love: I’ve spent the last 10 years learning exactly what dogs need at different stages of their lives, from high-energy pup play to gentle senior strolls. • Breeds I’ve Loved & Looked After: I used to own a wonderful Mongrel in Hong Kong and have plenty of experience dog-sitting Poodles and Shiba Inus. How I Can Help You • Holiday Dog Sitting: I’ll stay at your home to keep your furry friend company while you’re away, ensuring their routine doesn't change and they feel completely safe. • Dog Walking: Reliable, fun walks to stretch those legs and burn off some energy. A Little Note from Me: I might not have a piece of paper qualification, but I have a huge heart and a home-from-home approach. I promise to treat your dog like a member of my own family! I work for a consulting firm with highly flexible working hours and a remote-working environment. I could control over my schedule and can easily work from your home while keeping your dog company. Mirror their usual day-to-day life : Before you head away, I will make sure to fully understand your dog’s exact daily routine—including their precise feeding times, favourite walking routes, sleeping habits, and any specific quirks. Your furry friend won't be left alone for long periods; I will be there to offer tummy rubs, toilet breaks, and attention throughout the day while I work!

About: I have just qualified as a vet, and am having some time off over summer, and I’m looking for some animal company over this time! I have grown up around animals and always had a passion for pet care. My time on the vet course has given me experience looking after a large range of breeds from the very small to very big. It has also given me plenty of experience with medical care for animals, and I may be able to accommodate to pets with more complex medical needs. I have also have experience taking care of puppies, including orphaned new borns, and of senior dogs. Please feel free to message me with any more specialist needs your pet may have :) I enjoy walking and spending time outdoor and it would be lovely to have a furry friend to come with me. I have an elderly pet dog at home who likes her own space, so will only be doing housesitting, drop ins and walks. Currently having a break after finishing vet school. Have some plans in summer which I would love to care for pets in between, so may be able to accommodate longer stays as well as short. Happy to meet prior to stays, to ensure I get on well with pets! I will stay with pets as much as is required for them and ensure lots of photos are taken to keep you updated on long stays.

My background is deeply rooted in animal welfare; my family and I regularly rescue and foster dogs in need. This hands-on experience has made me naturally adept at caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. I mostly work from home, which allows me to be very flexible with my time and provide plenty of companionship for your dog. About: Hi! I’m a caring and reliable pet sitter with a genuine love for animals and helping people. I’m currently looking after a 13-year-old King Charles Spaniel on a temporary basis. She’s a lovely, quiet older girl, and I enjoy giving her the calm, gentle care she needs at this stage of life. I also gained lots of hands-on experience helping at my partner’s mum’s home, where she has dachshunds, huskies, and puppies. I regularly fed them, cleaned out their spaces, let them out for walks, and gave them plenty of attention and playtime. I’m comfortable with different breeds, energy levels, and ages – from lively young pups to calm seniors. As a carer by nature, I’m patient, responsible, and attentive. Whether it’s a daily walk, feeding, playtime, or just keeping your pet company while you’re away, I treat every animal like my own. I’m happy to look after dogs. I’d love to help you and your furry friends! Im currently unemployed so have a lot of free time to care for your pet! I will care for them as needed, they will be fed, go on walks and have a lot of fuss! I have a big back garden where the dogs will be able to run around, enjoy themselves! They will be able to go on many walks with myself at the local park which is 5 minute walk away

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats since I was little and have been around animals through every stage of their life - from puppies and kittens to senior animals. More recently I have experience pet sitting and walking dogs while their owners are away. I have experience with a wide range of dogs from labradors, to terriers to spaniels. I love the outdoors and exploring new places with fury friends! I currently work from home most days so will be around to drop in or walk dogs before work, during lunch breaks or in the evenings during the week. I am flexible on the weekends to suit your needs. I can offer a free meet and greet prior to the service to get to know you, the owner, your pets and your home to ensure I understand and can meet your pets needs. I can send updates to let you know your pet is well cared for.

About: Hi I am the proud foster Mummy to a lovely tabby cat called Charlotte. She is my world ♡ Charlotte got lost at Skegness a while back for 27 days, but after a lot of hard work, tears and sleepless nights I found her and she was brought safely back home. I look forward to meeting you and looking after your fur babies when you and they need some extra help with lots of fuss and cuddles xx Any of my friends can tell you I adore cats. I always carry around a packet of cat treats in my car as I'm driving around for work providing social care rehabilitation in the community, just incase I see any feline friends on my travels. I have a full DBS check and will promise to give your little one(s) as much love, care and attention as I do my own. One thing I love about my job is the opportunity to meet new people and their pets :) I live in Mapperley and have my own car so I can travel a little further afield. I have experience administering medications onto food and applying eye drops. I'm not confident in giving oral medications or injections, but if shown I'm sure I will be fine :) I can do drop in visits for your fur babies at your own home so your cat feels comfortable in their own surroundings or I can look after them at my property. I am already a registered cat sitter on Cat in a flat.

About: What sets me apart is the range of hands-on experience I’ve had with animals. I worked in a vet clinic for a month and have volunteered at rescues such as Moohaven and Guardian Angel Bird Sanctuary, which gave me experience with animals of all sizes and temperaments. I’ve also cared for a variety of pets at home and through volunteering — from dogs and cats to chickens and turtles — so I’m confident handling different needs and routines. Growing up with two dogs and a cat of my own has also given me the patience and understanding to make pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved. As a sixth form student, I have a fairly flexible routine. I’m usually available in the afternoons, evenings, and on weekends, which works well for walks, drop-ins, or pet sitting. I enjoy spending my free time with animals, so fitting pet care into my day feels natural. I can adjust around my school schedule to make sure pets get the time, attention, and care they need. For drop-ins, I make sure pets have fresh food and water, a potty break, and some playtime or cuddles so they feel happy and comfortable while their owners are away. I always check that everything is safe and secure before I leave. For dog walks, I focus on giving each dog the right balance of exercise and fun, whether that’s a brisk walk or a slower pace for older dogs. I keep walks safe by using secure leads, being aware of surroundings, and tailoring the walk to each dog’s needs and energy level

David looked after our cocker spaniel for one night. We had a brilliant experience. Communication was excellent from the start. David asked thoughtful questions and had us complete a form so they could really get to know Saffie which was very reassuring. We also did a trial meet beforehand, which helped Saffie settle and gave us real peace of mind. Saffie was clearly well cared for, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

About: I have been a dog sitter of a Labrador Retriever, the owner concerned about proper medication with his meal, and I managed with care. As when I am young my aunt have two dogs, one of them needed long term medication sustaining its health. Therefore, I realized the importance of adhering to the medication schedule and pay great attention to the consistency. My friends and family said I am an animal lover and carer with great patience, as Sometimes when the dog that I was sitting, having an off day. Having plenty of sleeping instead of eating. I chose to stayed attentive and kept checking on him, looked after him until he felt better. I'm currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets during weekdays. Boarding is available on weekdays and weekends. There is no smoking or other pets inside the home, so your pet can stay in a safe environment. There are quite a few parks and green areas around the flat, where your pet can enjoy playing and walking time.
