“Lindsay took incredible care of my dog. She was very communicative and provided me frequent updates and photos. My dog didn’t want to leave when I came to pick him up. Normally he goes on a hunger strike when I’m away on a trip but he felt so comfortable with Lindsay that he even ate. Will be using Lindsay again for sure!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Anne. She recently took care of my dog, Lola, and went above and beyond to make sure she was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. From the start, communication was excellent — I always felt updated and reassured with pictures and messages about how Lola was doing. It was clear that Anne genuinely loves dogs. Lola immediately felt comfortable and safe, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. She got plenty of walks, playtime, and attention, and I came home to a very happy pup. I highly recommend Anne to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog sitter. I’ll definitely be reaching out again the next time I need someone to take care of Lola.”

“Janel & Jeff were absolutely wonderful. They are such kind people who clearly love dogs. They sent regular updates and pictures of Nyla which we really appreciated. I would 100% book them again! Thanks again!!”

“Chandler was great with communication from the start and made us feel confident leaving our dogs with him. They had a great time playing with the other dogs and enjoying the pool. We’d definitely recommend him!”

“Our Yorkie pixel, got to stay for a week and had some buddies to play with. It’s great that Jennifer has a very large fenced in backyard where he could explore.. Jen did some grooming and he came back looking great. He will be going back in a few weeks for a 15 days stay.”

“David and his wife were amazing with our girl. We did a meet with them prior to her stay and they took great care of her. Very well organized and provided daily updates. She came home with a sweet little gift from them at the end of her stay. We would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.”

“Betsy provided great communication and sent frequent pictures with updates on my 2 dogs she cared for. She has a huge backyard that’s fenced in with lots of room to run and play. My dogs must have felt like they were on vacation. Betsy was very professional and responsive. She provided great care and we will be using her services again.”

“Jean and her husband were so great with our pup! They took really good care of her and sent us updates and pictures every day while we were away. “Stephanie’s the best! My dog Oki is old and he hasn’t been with anyone else but me. He had a little bit of separation anxiety and Stephanie made him feel loved and cared for. She was patient with him and Oki finally felt safe in someone else’s care. We definitely would go back to her in a heartbeat.”

“Max and Bella loved their stay! Carlos took great care of them and I definitely appreciated the daily photos. Will definitely be my go to boarding place.”

“Dona did a great job looking after our dog Willy. He isn't an easy dog to watch over. He is disabled and in a wheelchair. Dona went the extra mile to ensure that Willy was comfortable and cared for. She stayed in touch with us throughout the time she watched him. I definitely recommend her for watching your dog. Thank you so much Dona.”

“Tracee H. Is the kindest, most professional sitter that you could ask for. She cared for our Shih Tzu while we were away 9 days during the thanksgiving holiday. She sent many pictures and updates daily. Tracee went soo far as to bathe our little guy for us before we picked him up. I can’t say enough great things or thank her enough as we were at ease for our entire vacation.”

“Dzeni and Kathy were absolutely wonderful with Bailey! From the start, their communication was clear and consistent, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. They were very attentive to Bailey’s needs, kept us updated with messages and photos, and made sure she was comfortable and happy the whole time. It was clear that they treated her with genuine care and affection, just like family. We came home to a relaxed and well-cared-for pup, and we couldn’t be more grateful. “Mai was awesome! Her dog is super friendly and handled my skittish dog very well. Being the first time I boarded I was a bit hesitant. I arrived and realized I had left his bag with food and the leash! She assured me she had extra and not to worry about having to go back to get my bag. Overall great experience.”

Stephanie’s the best! My dog Oki is old and he hasn’t been with anyone else but me. He had a little bit of separation anxiety and Stephanie made him feel loved and cared for. She was patient with him and Oki finally felt safe in someone else’s care. We definitely would go back to her in a heartbeat.

Our pup is a 2 year old rescue and it was his first time staying with Jeff, Janel and Olivia. They were so patient and caring as our pup acclimated to his new surroundings. They did a wonderful job sending regular updates and photos. I could see by the photos that our pup grew to be very comfortable and fond of Jeff, Janel and Olivia. I could not have asked for a better experience for both our dog and us. Will definitely use them again.

Mai was absolutely awesome!!! She took such good care of my baby Jagger and kept me posted with pictures and updates the whole time. Her home was lovely and comfortable and her pets were so welcoming to my pet. This was my first time leaving my pet through Rover and I highly recommend then and Mai. Such a professional and pet lover. Until next time and only with Mai. Thank you!

Alicia watched my dog and also took care of him over Christmas, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She is incredibly kind, loving, and attentive, and it was clear how much she truly cares about animals. I received daily updates, comments, and pictures, which gave me such peace of mind. My dog was happy, relaxed, and so well cared for the entire time. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such wonderful hands. I can’t recommend Alicia enough — she’s truly amazing!

Anne was great with our newly acquired 5-yr old shelter dog, Toby. We are still working on potty training and good behavior with him so he wasn't an easy guest. We're implementing some helpful suggestions Anne offered and anticipate that Toby will be a better guest the next time around!

Excellent person, dog lover, who always makes me feel very comfortable leaving my pet dog with her every time I’m away on vacation whether it is within the country or out of the country. She is very proactive and does take the dog to the vet sometimes if she has any question about my dogs health

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
