Training that Leads to Happy Dogs!
I am incredibly passionate about understanding the reason our dogs engage in "undesired" behaviors and translating them into human analogies so dog guardians can understand their companions better - ultimately leading to an improved harmonious relationship. I love that with humane training methods, we have the ability to rewire the dog's mentality to enjoy the new, desired behavior - leading to a mentally happy and healthy dog.

What to expect
Consultation
First consultations can take place over a call, video, or in-person as desired. Ideally all individuals who are involved in the dog's day-to-day will be present. We will cover your dog's areas of improvement and what you are currently doing to address the situation. We will also review your dog's personality, known history, triggers, and any other vital information that will aid in my analysis of your companion. I will provide recommendations/solutions with my training methodology, review my session pricing, as well as what we'd cover in our next session if you choose to move forward.
Sessions
Before sessions, come prepared with management tools (ie. harnesses, crates, etc) and preferred rewards (treats, toys). Key info such as the location, agenda, and instructions will be discussed prior. During sessions I will review the agenda before moving onto demos. Expect to engage in training under my guidance. The session may pivot depending on the dog's anxiety, frustration, or energy-levels. Training comes with a lot of patience and consistency, so I will give you homework! Your dog's success is my number 1 priority so please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions!

I believe timing, consistency, patience, and empathy is the key to raising a well-mannered and happy dog. I only enforce humane methods such as positive reinforcement, desensitization, and socialization because I believe a dog's mental health is just as important as their physical health. I believe by maintaining a strong human-dog bond, you will be able to attain more with your training while feeling great about yourself and your dog!

I work 4 days a week, primarily M, TU, W, F and am free the other days to engage in training sessions. However, as this is my passion I can increase the days I train as needed! So please let me know your availability and I can accommodate accordingly.
