There's no such thing as a bad dog
What sets me apart is my force-free, science-based approach to training that focuses on real behavior change and the emotional wellbeing of the dog. I’m a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA-CTP) and specialize in positive reinforcement methods that build trust, confidence, and clear communication—never fear or punishment. My goal isn’t just quick fixes, but empowering both dogs and their humans with skills that create lasting success and a stronger bond.

What to expect
Consultation
A typical consultation begins with a detailed conversation to understand your dog, their history, and the behaviors you’re experiencing. For many concerns, a phone consultation is sufficient to gather information, identify patterns, and outline an initial training plan. If the issue involves biting or aggression, I require an in person consultation so I can safely observe your dog with you and evaluate behavior in real time. After the consultation, you’ll receive clear next steps and training recommendations tailored to your dog.
Sessions
Training sessions are customized to fit your dog’s needs and your schedule. Sessions may take place in your home or out in real world environments, and owners are welcome to be fully involved or have me work with their dog independently with a review at the end. For dogs struggling with fear or aggression toward new people, I may begin with a few owner absent sessions to build trust and reduce stress. Each session includes a clear recap, practical homework to continue progress between visits, and video clips so you can easily stay on track between sessions.
More info
Every dog has a story, a history, and so often, a past filled with trauma - just like us. I firmly believe that no dog should ever be given up on, especially when their struggles stem from being set up for failure by human environments. My core philosophy is simple: there's no such thing as a "bad dog". My mission is to guide each and every dog back to their natural canine roots, helping them feel safe, grounded, and secure. We're here to build confidence, strengthen bonds, and foster understanding between dogs and their humans.
