I am pet professional with over 7 years of experience not only training pet dogs to be the best family pet their family could dream of but I also have 5 years of experience training service dogs. I have run my own successful service dog program helping owner-trainers turn out successful service dog candidates for the last 3 years. Service dog training is everything from raising a puppy to basic obedience, to working through any behavior problems that arise in adolescence, and then to public access training and task training. What to expect
Consultation
During your consultation we will review your dogs current behavior, your goals for them, and conduct a temperament test if indicated. After that we will discuss your lifestyle and how training fits into it. Then together we can come up with a training plan that is made for you and your dog.
Sessions
In your first session, be prepared by coming with your dogs favorite treats, a standard 6 ft leash (no retractable leashes), a buckle collar or standard harness, and an excitement to learn. We will jump right in and begin tail-wagging fun for your dog and you! Between sessions, you should be practicing the homework assigned at your last session - that's where the magic happens!

I am a positive reinforcement and fear-free trainer. In my training we build a relationship between the dog and the owner and make sure both parties are having fun training! Through the application of a marker and reward based training system you and your dog will learn to understand what each other need and want and become better able to communicate. Through this methos of learning your dog can learn anything from sit to complex service dog tasks, all while having fun doing it!
