About: I have cared for dogs for many years. I can walk, feed, and play with dogs of different sizes and personalities. I will treat your pet like my own and make sure they feel safe and loved. It's a large part of my daily routine. I have three dogs, all different breeds, which means I take care of them differently because of their different personalities. I have a part-time job; however I work a maximum of 6 hours and I am free before and after work. Right now, I don't offer in-home care at my residence; however, when caring for a client's pet, their safety is my priority. I make sure fences and doors are secure and pay close attention to any illnesses or special needs.

Whether your dog loves long trail walks, relaxing neighborhood strolls, or plenty of time to sniff and explore, I’ll make sure they get the exercise, attention, and care they deserve. I grew up around both dogs and cats and currently have a border collie, yorkie, and a golden doodle, so I understand how important consistency and trust are. I’m currently working two other part time jobs, I work one on weekends so I won’t be available weekends, durning the week I do nannying but it’s not a set schedule so feel free to reach out and ask if I’m available and I’ll get back to you asap! I have a fenced back yard and plenty of backyard for your dogs to run around in, I also have a little lounge area for the dogs, I have 3 dogs myself, a yorkie, golden doodle, and a border collie, all VERY VERY friendly and wouldn’t hurt a fly! Since it’s getting really hot around summer time, don’t worry, I have tons and tons of water jugs specifically for the dogs all around the house !

“We boarded our two young dogs with Kara so that our family could travel on Christmas, and Kara was wonderful with them! She graciously welcome them into her home on a holiday and took excellent care of them. We got daily check-ins and videos, and she was really intuitive about their needs. There were two larger dogs being boarded at the same time, and since ours haven’t been around many other dogs yet, she was careful to keep them separated to make it less stressful for all of them. We felt so confident and pleased with leaving our dogs with Kara, we will definitely be rebooking with her again!”

My experience allows me to confidently handle everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs, while recognizing canine body language, stress signals, and changes in behavior. Your dog will receive safe, compassionate, and attentive care from someone who truly understands dogs and is committed to keeping them happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. I work part time so I have plenty of time to spend with your pups! I work Wednesday-friday but can do drop in or sitting before and after work on those days. I have a fenced in yard and crates to create a safe environment for all dogs. I am also a dog trainer and have studied dog body language and can read dogs very well! I have my own dogs as well but they are all friendly to others but if it get a little too rowdy they can be separated if needed.

“I have been meaning to find another Rover dogsitter for my GSD but many Rover sitters do not take in large breed dogs. I found Casey online, she confirmed she will take a GSD so we arranged a meet and greet first so I could see how my dog was reacting to the environment and other dogs. That went fine, so I booked a 4 night stay recently. I was so pleased with how Casey took care of Pipa, she sent me a photo, gave me updates on how Pipa was doing and everything went really well. Casey let Pipa sleep at the foot of her bed and I think that made my dog feel really secure and she played well with the other dogs. Great stay and I was very pleased all around.”

About: I have been a dog mom most of my life. More recently I’ve worked with a rescue and have experience fostering dogs . All 3 of my dogs are rescues and they are all very different so I’ve learned that they all their own individualized plan I currently work full time so I am available most weekends for boarding. Sometimes I’m off over the summer so my availability opens up then I have a really big fenced yard and a cozy pet friendly home. I have 3 small dogs who I love very much. My heeler mix is a bit fear aggressive towards new people and large dogs but he is obedient and I am working on socializing him more and I know exactly to manage. I’ve fostered a variety of dogs the last year and he just needs time to warm up to new dogs and people. My other 2 are terrier mixes and have been socialized since they were pups.

About: I grew up having always at least two dogs at a time. I raised a few puppies my self, which are now very well behaved and the most loving dogs. Growing up, we were breeding grate Danes, what makes me very experienced with large dogs. I am honest, reliable and caring. Every dog needs a different kind of attention, and I will get to know your dog very well and give him the attention and exercise he/she needs. At the moment, I have two dogs myself, Lucy and Rue, both Australian stumpy tail cattle dogs with tons of energy. Hire me and your dog will be a happy and relaxed dog when you come back from your trip! My availability is pretty flexible - so just hit me up and let me know what your needs are, I can make most schedules work. I have a fenced yard but am a big advocate for long walks around the neighborhood! Inside the house I’ll provide individual care - every pet is different!
