Pet care experience
I'm Steph, but I go by Sky (like the thing the sun and moon hang out in), and I want to get to know your companion animal! I serve the Northgate, Pinehurst, Olympic Hills, south Shoreline, and surrounding areas. I had my own standard schnauzer since she was only 8 weeks old until she passed away at 14 and a half. Her name was Aisha (eye-shah) and she was the best part of being at home. I now have the pleasure of keeping a Norwegian Forest Cat rescue named Honeybee. To give you a feel for the kind of animal lover I am, I will stop mid-conversation if I see an animal along the road ("LOOK AT THAT DOG!"/"Moo moo!"/"Neigh neigh!")! It is also more than likely that I will try to get to know an animal in someone's home before I start really socializing with the resident humans, haha! Please let me know if your pets have any history of separation anxiety, aggressive/possessive behavior in regard to food, toys, or treats so that I can make proper accommodations and provide for your baby's safety! If you have special care instructions or preferences for your pet, let me know! I'd like to keep your pet's routine consistent, and I'm happy to accommodate requests to make them as comfortable and stress free as possible while you're away! I can provide around the clock care and have been known to do pick ups/drop offs when it's helpful to my clients. Please feel free to ask any questions! For last minute reservations less than 1 week out, I charge a fee not to exceed $25.

Stephanie stayed at our place with our dog and cats while we were gone for four days. Everyone was well cared while we were gone. Great communication before and during our trip with lots of great photos of the pets.
Stephanie did a good job of taking care of our dog and cat. They were clearly well loved.
Sky does a fantastic job with our house and 3 large dogs! We get photo updates every day and it feels so much better knowing they're being looked after. We absolutely love Sky!
Recommend not hiring this sitter. We had a very poor experience. Check out other reviews, there is a trend of poor care taking. They skipped a drop in visit and left our dog alone for over 24 hours. Luckily we have a door camera so we can tell when they visit. The next day, they told us that they fell asleep, responding over 24 hours after their last visit. After reviewing the visits via doorcam we noticed that she was visiting our dog for only about 10 minutes. On the final day of our trip, we noticed they hadn't dropped in by noon. We contacted them and they said they had read the dates wrong, although we had communicated clearly via messages before the arranged sitting. They quickly hurried over, but had we not been monitoring the visits our dog would have been abandoned a second time. She ended up refunding us for a day of dog sitting. However, I would not recommend hiring this sitter and will absolutely not be hiring them again.

I always make sure doors are secured to ensure even the best escape artists don’t make it past me. Every pet gets their regularly scheduled feeding and plenty of attention. For dogs, if walks are part of their routine, they will get 3+ a day, morning, midday, and evening, or more if they’re especially energetic. Cats get their playtime, and plenty of pets if they’re into that sort of thing. Every animal’s needs are different, so please tell me about yours! Knowing where they do and don’t like to be touched would be helpful to me providing the most nurturing and stress free experience for your furry family members.

Most of my experience is with dogs 60 lbs or lighter. This enables me to stay in control of your animal when we're in and out of your home.
A typical day
We will go to the local dog park if there’s one nearby, and play with their toys. After play time and food time, it'll be time for cuddles! I will send you photos and videos of your pet at least once a day to let you know how well they're doing.

I work full time remote, so as long as you have a solid wifi connection, I can be home with your fur baby all day, every day.
