“Beau has returned yesterday from a two day/ one night stay with Serena in her lovely home. Serena is fabulous & clearly has a love for dogs which helped put me at ease when leaving Beau; she was also more than happy to accommodate my request for a ‘meet & greet’ prior to his overnight stay so we could ensure everyone was comfortable. Beau was very well looked after during his stay and it was nice to receive updates from Serena throughout so we could enjoy our time away knowing Beau was happy. I’d highly recommend Serena to anyone looking for a boarder & won’t hesitate to use her again in the future.”

She kept us updated with how Daisy was getting on and how she was settling in - which seemed to be straight away! About: I have had dogs in various shapes and sizes since I was a child. A Jack Russell that lived to 17, a rescued Great Dane, a beautiful Weimaraner (the love of my life, sadly missed) and now a 3 year old Bedlington terrier. I also work part time at ITFC and have been DBS checked 👍 I’m now retired and thought I’d try my hand at dog care. We live in a bungalow on the outskirts of Ipswich surrounded by fields and great walks for dogs (on or off the lead). We also have a large garden that is fully fenced in. I would treat every pet as if it were my own, lots of walks and stimulating play time, I hate to see bored dogs. To encourage good behaviour I set ground rules for my own dog and would expect the guest dog to be able to follow the same simple instructions. This would help to create a calm and relaxed environment.

She has looked after my mum’s dog (a cheeky cocker spaniel) on countless occasions and the two have formed a heartwarming bond. She’s also looked after many of my friends’ dogs and always does a great job - whether it’s going on fun walks, playing around the house or just relaxing on the sofa.”

“Our dog, Daisy, appeared to enjoy lots of interaction with Sonia and her husband on walks, in the garden and indoors. Sonia provided several photos and videos during the course of the week which provided reassurance that Daisy was being well cared for. Daisy seemed to enjoy her time with Sonia and I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again.”

About: We have a labrador and a weimaraner so are used to large and excited dogs. We have experience with medication and injections as our lab has arthritis so requires tablets and jabs. We have large dog beds and blankets abd a large sofa that animals can curl up on. Our dogs are friendly. My partner and I work from home everyday. Pet care fits in around those hours. So a walk before work when the light allows, if not we do lunch time walks instead, and again before dinner if needed. Feeding is normally at 7am and 7pm, however if additional feeding is required this can also be done. We are able to provide medication to dogs too, including jabs. Dog beds are by radiators which are covered. The beds are filed with mattresses and blankets to ensure the dogs are warm and comfortable over night. Dogs are not allowed upstairs, but there is plenty of space on the ground level. Generally we will be in the office and the dogs will sleep there for the day, but they do have access to the rest of downstairs if they want. Toilet breaks are when the dog needs abd there is a high fenced garden out back.

“Jenny is a lovely, warm person and her Pug, Honey, is an adorable dog. Together, they made a perfect team to look after our Lhasapoo, Lola. We received photos and updates on Lola during her stay and she clearly had a fun time and was well looked after. There was a secure, enclosed garden for her to play in with Honey. Jenny obviously has a lot of experience looking after dogs and we felt completely confident leaving Lola to her care. We have no hesitation in recommending Jenny to anyone who wants the best of care for their dog and we will be making another booking in the future. Thank you, Jenny and Honey, :)”
