“We recently contacted Marcus and Shelley to look after our 7-month-old pup. We were apprehensive about leaving Buddy with anyone for the first time since we got him at 8 weeks old let alone someone we did not even know. We had a meet and greet a few days prior to buddy staying the night and straight away we felt more relaxed about leaving him for his first night away. We were kept updated with pictures and videos throughout the evening and it was clear Buddy was having a great time and had settled in nicely. Shelley also messaged us first thing in the morning to let us know that Buddy had slept soundly through the night. We are going away for a week in September and have no hesitation in leaving our pup with Marcus and Shelly again. Buddy is packing his suitcase already!!!”

“I have no hesitation in leaving my dog with dex , donal and their 3 dogs bob, kyri and skip.My rescue boy really gets on with their 3, in fact I really believe he enjoys holidays, being part of their little pack and has a safe, fun, action packed time. Dex picked him up from me once at short notice and my boy charged into the car and didn't look back!!. One of the things that I picked up on was that their own dogs don't generally go on the furniture (as they have 3 it's probably not very practical!) but when I explained that was what my boy was used too, they adapted to meet his needs and sent a picture of him snuggled up on their sofa.”

About: We have both had pets all our lives and love our furry friends. We have one dog (Riley) and regularly look after dogs for family, friends and neighbours. We both work from home, so your pup will never need to be left alone for extended periods. We have plenty of time to give them the love and attention they need. There will also be lots of playtime, walks, and all-important cuddles. We have a lovely big garden (fenced) to explore. It backs straight onto the South Downs, which is great for short strolls or longer walks. We understand that each dog is unique and provide tailored care. By learning about their normal behaviours and routines, we can ensure a comfortable and familiar environment for your dog. We can look after puppies (once fully house-trained) and elderly dogs, and you can rest assured that your pet's needs will be fully met. We know what it is like leaving your dog behind when you go away, so we provide as many regular updates and photos as you want. This way, you can see how your dog is doing and feel confident that they are happy and well looked after. We are happy to pick up and drop off for an additional charge. And, of course, we are more than happy to answer any questions you have or arrange to meet so your dog can get to know us first. We walk Riley every day—he loves beach adventures and country-side hikes. We also take him out to socialise with the other dogs in the area on the local cricket pitch, so your pup will get plenty of outdoor exercise if needed. We live in a quiet residential area that backs onto the South Downs. Your dog will be part of the family while they are here. Riley has free range in the house - we don't restrict where he goes, so your pup can roam as much as he/she likes. They will also have access to the garden whenever they want, and there will be lots of balls and toys to play with (Riley will happily share). Your pup doesn't need to be crate trained and will be be free to choose any comfy corner to make themselves comfortable and snooze in - if he/she has a favourite bed, feel free to bring it. We have a relaxed pup parenting style, but we are also happy to respect any rules and routines your pup has. Just let us know.
