“After having previously boarded our little dog, Louis, overnight with Claudia we could see that he was instantly relaxed and confident in her company. We have recently returned from holiday after leaving Louis with Claudia for a weeks stay and whilst he was very pleased to see us he was obviously reluctant to leave Claudia. Claudia has a wonderful caring nature and is highly attuned to the individual needs of dogs. During our time away Claudia posted us daily pictures of Louis’s little exploits which was lovely and very reassuring. We feel so lucky to have found Claudia and will be exploring future boarding dates with her in the very near future. Thank you Claudia.”

She is also raw fed and Matias offered some space in the fridge with no issue. I received regular updates and photos from her walks. About: I grew up with my family dog (golden retriever) since before I can remember. Every day I took her for walks with my dad which I really enjoyed and this will be something I aim to do as much as possible with other dogs- lots of throw and catch at the beach! I also helped train my dog when I was old enough to know how, so know how to be assertive and make a dog listen and I also cared for her when she became much older, so understand how to handle the difficulties that old age can bring. I absolutely adore dogs and think we can help bring joy to their lives as much as they bring us happiness. I currently have 2 days working from home (Wednesday and Tuesday) so am able to look after the pets on those days- I will make sure to take them out frequently enough as I also need breaks from the computer screen. On weekends I love going to the beach for a walk so bringing a dog along for that is perfect! When I have responsibility of a dog, I would make sure my routine is focused around them so they are my main focus. I am perfectly located near the beach so even though I have no outdoor space, taking the dog out won’t be an issue. I have plenty of space in my flat to keep the dog and if needed, have space for a crate. The flat is quiet with no noise from neighbours or the street to disturb the dog.

“Laura-Jane looked after our hound-cross Heidi for a couple of days. She is a very caring and calm person who obviously loves dogs and Heidi seemed very happy to be with her. She took Heidi for a lot of walks and sent us photos and videos of how the stay was going. I would be very happy to have Laura look after Heidi again.”

About: As a uni student, I have plenty of time to ensure your pets are well looked after; I love to go for walks so they will always have the opportunity to get out of the house (park, beach etc) :)) I don’t mind older dogs or younger ones as long as any needs have been expressed fully before I take them on. I live in a Maisonette with a huge park right behind the house, I live in a smoke free home, with a pet friendly housemate. I aspire to follow their routines as much as possible to ensure their comfort. Please do let me know any foods they prefer or treats, and if they have any toys they love, you’re more than welcome to bring them to me; also if they have any certain ways of communicating I.e certain ways to let me know they need to go to the loo etc :)) Since I am a uni student I have plenty of free time, any time that I am unable to accommodate your dog will be messaged directly to you if we are already in contact or my schedule on the app will be updated. I cannot take Dogs in need of crates due to the nature of my house, I believe in letting the pet roam around and get a feel for a new surrounding. My house is pet proof. I also believe I’m getting them out the house especially if they’re in a new environment getting them out for a run or walk can boost their happiness, confidence and trust in me as their new human for a while.
