“We had such a great experience with Makena. She was incredibly accommodating, especially with our German Shepherd, Lainey. We reached out with only about three days’ notice and she was still able to make it work, which we really appreciated. This was Lainey’s first time ever staying somewhere other than our home while we were on vacation, so we were a little nervous. Makena made us feel completely at ease by sending pictures and videos every day so we could see how well Lainey was doing. She even took Lainey to a self pet wash, which was such a thoughtful extra and totally above and beyond. You can tell she genuinely cares and treats the dogs like her own. We’re so grateful for such a positive first experience and will absolutely be using Makena again. Highly recommend her.”
