About: Hi, I'm so excited to meet your furry family members! Dogs have been a massive part of my life for as long as I can remember—I’ve been personally responsible for caring for and raising dogs since I was 7 years old. Most recently, I welcomed a 6-month-old German Shepherd / Mini Australian Shepherd mix into my life, so I am completely in tune with puppy energy, socialization, and the patience it takes to keep young, intelligent breeds happy and stimulated. When your dog stays with me, they will have the absolute best environment to just be a dog! My home is incredibly pet-friendly and designed for play, and I have a large, fully fenced-in backyard where dogs can safely run, play fetch, and burn off energy to their heart's content. Whether your pup needs high-energy playtime, careful puppy supervision, or just a cozy spot to relax, I tailor my day to make sure they feel loved, safe, and completely "joyed" while you’re away. I can't wait to give your pup a fun, stress-free stay! During the school year, I am a full-time 2nd-grade teacher, which means patience, structure, and careful supervision are practically second nature to me! But starting in June, I am officially on summer break, and looking after your furry friends becomes my absolute full-time job. Because I will be home all day, your dog will enjoy a highly consistent, attentive routine tailored exactly to their needs: Morning: We kick off the day with a morning potty break in my fully fenced backyard, followed by breakfast and some fun backyard playtime before the midday heat sets in. Midday: Since I’m home full-time, I provide frequent let-outs (every 2–3 hours), fresh water refills, and plenty of mental stimulation or puzzle toys to keep young or energetic minds busy. Afternoon/Evening: We wrap up the day with wind-down play, dinner, and lots of cozy couch cuddles. Whether your pup requires a structured schedule to match their puppy training or just wants a human companion by their side all day for belly rubs, I am entirely available to give them a safe, fun, and loving summer vacation! Safety, play, and comfort are my top priorities. My home is fully equipped for puppy playtime, featuring a secure, fenced-in yard where dogs can safely run around, plus plenty of open space indoors. When it comes to pet care—whether it's hosting in my home or house-sitting in yours—my philosophy is simple: I treat your home and your pet exactly like my own. I focus on maintaining their routines, keeping them happy, and giving them the highest quality care and affection.
