In addition to her work at the local Humane Society, Melanie has done extensive pet sitting for my cats when I have been away. She always spent time with them to reassure them that everything was fine. She played with them and gave me regular updates while I was traveling so I would know how my pets were doing. Melanie is a true animal lover. She has also worked in the very difficult business of rescuing dogs from the dog meat business.
