“**PICKIEST DOG MOM REVIEW!** I am (*as some would say*) quite particular and high-maintenance when it comes to our pup, Kiwi. Although she’s just a lil’ mutt off the street, she’s the most beautiful and precious thing to us. This was the first time we were taking a trip without her so finding the right dog sitter became a time consuming and frustrating process….that was, until we found DARBY!!! I’m telling you, Darby is absolutely heaven-sent and was the perfect match for our pup! From the get-go, Darby was incredibly attentive, flexible, and quick to respond. At our first meet and greet, she immediately bonded with Kiwi, something that’s not all that easy with our pup. Darby listened to ALL of our concerns and instructions, and by that, I mean a whole 3 page list of them. (Sorry Darby!) She spent extra time getting to know us and Kiwi in the weeks leading up to our trip, so I can honestly say that by the time our vacation arrived, we ended up leaving our beloved pup with a brand new friend rather than just a sitter. During our vacation, Darby shared daily updates and photos (amazing ones I might add as she is a professional photographer) so we could see how stress-free and content our pup felt in Darby’s care. It was clear that, despite being in a new place, Darby made Kiwi feel right at home. The cherry on top was Darby’s mom, Sheila, who was able to hang out/cuddle/play with our pup if Darby had to run out for a quick errand or photo shoot. Both Sheila and Darby are two of the most genuine, loving, and pure-hearted people we’ve ever met. They both loved and cared for Kiwi as if she was their own pup, and for that, we are forever grateful to this amazing dog-loving duo. When we picked up Kiwi after our vacation, Kiwi was happy, healthy, and definitely wanted to take Darby back home with us! I pretty much believe that, in itself, says it all. Thank you Darby and Sheila for sharing your home, your time, and most importantly, your love with Kiwi! We are so incredibly grateful for you both and Kiwi can’t wait to to spend more time with you in what is now most certainly her second home!”
