I’m on a gap year before starting medical school, and I was recently lucky enough to receive an offer. Right now, I don’t have any work commitments, so my schedule is completely open. That gives me plenty of time to focus on something I genuinely enjoy. Pet care fits perfectly into my week because I can give each pet lots of attention, keep a flexible schedule, and make their day a little brighter while they make mine brighter too. I live at Arlington in a very pet-friendly apartment building with a build in dog park, which makes it easy and comfortable for visiting pets. I have a one year old Samoyed who loves to play with other dogs, and a 4-year-old Ragdoll who is very relaxed and used to having other animals around.
