“Mary was amazing. My dog Thyon is a sweet but skittish boy. Since making a big move from the country to the city, he has suffered from anxiety which he needed to be medicated for. I tried traditional boarding facilities however they were not a good fit. There were too many loud noises and he always came home stressed and nervous. Mary provided a wonderful environment. Not only was he able to quickly adapt and feel comfortable, but he seemed to thrived there. He was running in the yard with her dog Elle. Which he has not done since we moved months ago. Su: I've been a dog person for as long as I can remember, with over 13 years of hands-on experience covering walks, cuddles, vet visits, and everything in between. I recently lost my beloved pup to cancer, so I know firsthand what it means to love a dog deeply and care for them through every stage of life. I'm experienced with senior dogs and administering medication, and welcome large breeds . My partner Max is also home to help, so your pup is always in good hands. I only host one household at a time and am committed to giving your dog my full attention. Right now we have a pet-free home and will give your pup gets all of our attention. Your dog will be treated like a member of the family from the moment they arrive. Fri-Mon there is someone home at all times, so potty breaks can be kept to whatever schedule your dog requires. We don't often host midweek, but if we do, Tue-Thu we are able to limit alone time to approximately 4-5 hrs. I have a securely fenced yard for outdoor play and potty breaks, and will be present with you dog as long as they are outside (no leaving them alone despite the fence). Dogs are allowed on the furniture and in the bed. I'll stick to whatever routine works best for your pet, including feeding schedules, medication, and any special needs. I'm experienced with senior dogs and large breeds, and I'm happy to share regular updates and photos so you always know how your pup is doing.

Su: I have taken care of many animals, I grew up in the country and have had many animals and have taken care of them all from guinea pigs, horses, cows, sheep’s, dogs, cats and more. I find a deep love for all kinds of animals no matter the size, shape or color. Recently I have taken care of multiple of my friends dogs and cats, including my own first puppy Penny I follow all pet rules to a T, whatever you do for your fur baby I promise I will do! If you leave your baby in my hands I will provide good consistent communication, take wonderful care of your animal, and all the love and snuggles needed. I currently work from home for a medicare insurance company, I take a 30 minute lunch daily and work 8 hour shifts. I am able to provide before, during and after work attention to any animal. I am able to do anything that is needed for your dog and or cat. I am able to provide the most reliable, safe, and trusted care for your fur baby.

She has some health issues and is a little shy, so I'm always worried about leaving her for the weekend with someone new, but I could tell she felt comfortable with Ellen right away. Communication was great—Ellen sent photos and updates and made me feel a LOT less guilty about leaving her. I honestly could not have had a better experience, which is saying something coming from a slightly neurotic mom of a special needs dog :) I'll definitely be booking Ellen again in the future!”

“Ksenia is wonderful! She kept our 7-year-old Golden Retriever, Junie, in her apartment while we were gone for the weekend. She was careful with instructions and sent pictures and updates while we were away. Junie is sensitive/nervous during storms and Ksenia cared for and comforted her during a stormy evening. Her dog Flora was a wonderful playmate for Junie and they went on walks together. When we returned home, she was happy to see us, but also very clearly eager to return to Ksenia's house. It was clear it was an extremely positive and memorable experience for our dog! I would highly recommend her!”
