“Karen was a real “find”, a rare, genuinely kind and loving person. She almost became another member of the family, and I’m sure that KODA (my kids’ Siberian Husky) thought of her in this way! We were only in CO for a few short, BUSY, and hard to plan/predict days, for our son’s wedding! KODA is like one of their “children” and they wanted him in the ceremony, but there were other events he wasn’t allowed to attend! Enter KAREN!! More than anything, I want to mention and praise her FLEXIBILITY and cheerful willingness to be kept up in the air at times, to change meeting places and times, to ACCOMMODATE us with little notice. She sent us a reassuring picture of KODA relaxing ? and looking at ease and at home in her care. I had a LOT of things that worried me about this celebration - transportation, scheduling, altitude sickness . . . THANK YOU, Karen, for being one thing we never had to worry about! I can sum it up by saying that, while Karen was trustworthy, on time, professional and dependable, what I valued most was her warmth and lack of the “this is strictly business” or “we had a deal, and it can’t be altered” attitude we get so much of these days. Thank you for being one of the GREAT things about our Aspen-Snowmass Village stay, KAREN, and treating us like family! Great caretaker/Great person! ?”
