I grew up on a ranch and have spent my entire life caring for animals of all kinds, including dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and livestock. Caring for animals comes naturally to me, and I understand that every pet has their own unique personality, needs, and routines.
As a long-time business owner, I know how important trust, communication, and reliability are when someone is caring for a beloved family member. My goal is to provide a safe, calm, and loving experience while keeping you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away.
I have experience caring for senior pets, administering medications, following specialized feeding schedules, and supporting pets who may need a little extra patience, reassurance, or attention.
Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having a consistent companion nearby, I strive to make them feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for in their own environment.
Before each booking, I’d love to know about any medications, dietary restrictions, health concerns, routines, training cues, fears, or special preferences that help your pet feel safe and happy. Every animal is different, and I believe the best care comes from understanding what makes them unique.

“Ellen did such an amazing job with my senior rescue girl! She has some health issues and is a little shy, so I'm always worried about leaving her for the weekend with someone new, but I could tell she felt comfortable with Ellen right away. Communication was great—Ellen sent photos and updates and made me feel a LOT less guilty about leaving her. I honestly could not have had a better experience, which is saying something coming from a slightly neurotic mom of a special needs dog :) I'll definitely be booking Ellen again in the future!”

“Emily was amazing with our Goose! Not only was she able to take him on such a short notice, she was excited about having him stay with her. She sent me daily pictures and updates of Goose playing with her pups and having a fantastic time. Emily’s communication was fantastic and helped ease any anxiety I had about not being able to bring Goose with us on a road trip. I cannot say how thankful I am that Emily was able to watch and care for our dog on such a short notice and during the Thanksgiving week. “We have booked an overnight stay with Karl last year so we knew we wanted him to watch our bulldog while we went on vacation for about a week and a half. Lou can be a bit of a handful but Karl is knowledgeable, kind and patient so we had a worry free week+ knowing Lou was in great hands! Karl's comminution and picture updates eased my June knowing he was getting attention and not just locked up all day! We had a couple flight changes but Karl worked with us which was a huge weight lifted. If I could give more stars I would 😀”
