“Mary was amazing. My dog Thyon is a sweet but skittish boy. Since making a big move from the country to the city, he has suffered from anxiety which he needed to be medicated for. I tried traditional boarding facilities however they were not a good fit. There were too many loud noises and he always came home stressed and nervous. Mary provided a wonderful environment. Not only was he able to quickly adapt and feel comfortable, but he seemed to thrived there. He was running in the yard with her dog Elle. Which he has not done since we moved months ago. “Lacey (and family) were super flexible with us on making arrangements, and clearly know their way around dogs. Our puppy usually hates strangers, but was ready to warm up to them from day one. When our other dog was afraid of the thunder, they snuggled him to calmness, just like I'd have done. Thankfully, they still were happy to see me when I came to collect them, but it seems like they enjoyed their stay. I plan to call on Lacey first the next time we have a need.”

She has some health issues and is a little shy, so I'm always worried about leaving her for the weekend with someone new, but I could tell she felt comfortable with Ellen right away. Communication was great—Ellen sent photos and updates and made me feel a LOT less guilty about leaving her.
