“Shontel was heaven sent! The fact that she was even available and willing, on such short notice, to take care of my fur baby for a WEEK, was a blessing in it of itself! We were left in such a predicament, as our planned sitter had to unexpectedly cancel on us 2 days before our pre-planned vacation! I have to admit that I was so nervous about leaving my little pooch, without an initial pre-meet & greet, as we simply did not have that kind of time available, given our circumstance. However, I was encouraged by the positive reviews I read through from other/ regular clients of Shontel’s.. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised to see how easily my pup went with her at drop-off! She sent daily pics & videos to show how he was adjusting to his new surroundings throughout the week and was very communicative. I really appreciated that as it really put my mind at ease while we were away. By the end of his stay my little pooch was practically BFF’s with Shontel’s 2 cats! The ONLY negative was the distance between her place and mine - I wish we were neighbors! Lol in all seriousness though, it was so worth the extra commute! Especially now that I know she cared for my little fur baby as if he were her own. When we picked him up he looked and smelled as if he had just spent the week at the “Doggy Day Spa” haha. She really is a lovely person and exudes such positive energy and good vibes and I’m sure he sensed that right from the beginning. Definitely will be reaching out to Shontel again in the future!”
