My partner, an experienced Rover user, helped me navigate the process, and I was especially looking for sitters familiar with special needs, as Anakin is on prescription food and medication for his allergies.
From the moment I found their profile, I was impressed. Learning they are full-time Rover sitters who work from home, coupled with their glowing repeat client reviews and stated familiarity with administering medication, immediately put me at ease.
Our meet and greet truly solidified my decision. Bill and Todd were incredibly organized and professional, even taking detailed notes about Anakin's routine and needs. Their system was clearly well-honed, demonstrating their extensive experience. Knowing Anakin is quite shy and needs more socialization, I hoped this stay would be a positive step for him.
The drop-off and pick-up were seamless, and throughout Anakin's two-day stay, their communication was exceptional. I received daily photo updates, and they were incredibly responsive to every text check-in I sent.
Upon picking him up, Anakin seemed happy and well-cared for. Bill and Todd shared that he naturally warmed up by the last day, which was wonderful to hear, given his initial shyness.
I would absolutely use Bill and Todd again and highly recommend them to other dog owners in San Diego, particularly those whose dogs are comfortable interacting with other pups. Their professionalism, clear communication, and genuine care made my first Rover experience truly fantastic.”
