I have had dogs my whole life, so I am very good with them and I care for them with a lot of love and patience. I can also take care of cats, but only in the owner’s home because my husband is allergic and even though he is not taking care of the cat if I bring them home would be bad for my husband. I would be very happy to take care of your dogs while you are on vacation. Your pets will receive a lot of love, attention, walks, and company while you are away. Usually, I am free on weekends, but during the week we can also arrange something. We just need to planning it in advance. I live in a 51 square meter apartment with my husband, he is not going to be in charge of anything related to the visit however I would like to mention that we both love dogs, so your pet will always receive a lot of love and care. I don't have a garden, but there is a forest very close by, perfect for dogs who enjoy walking in different places. I easily follow instructions and adapt to your pet´s needs, so they can feel comfortable and safe with me as their caregiver.

Om: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was 15. Mainly cats from my family cat but also my neighbour. I’ve been recently taking care of dogs as well and feeding them, going on walks (or hikes sometimes !) and playing with them and I enjoy that a lot ! 🥰 I’m a PhD student at SLU in Uppsala and I have the chance to be able to work remotely from home therefore I can take care of your little ones during the week days during the day as well as in the weekends if needed. I can organize myself and my work around the walks and the playing times 😊 I live in an apartment with no other pets. Unfortunately, I don’t have a garden but I do live close to a forest and some nature area which is perfect to go on walks !

Om: Jag studerar till djursjukskötare vid SLU. Jag har god vana av att ta hand om katter, hundar, råttor, kaniner och marsvin. Jag har tidigare erfarenhet av att vara hundvakt. Jag har främst erfarenhet av mindre till mellanstora hundar. Jag har erfarenhet av hundar med utfallsproblematik, reaktivitet och stor jaktinstinkt. Jag har varierande möjligheter till hundpassning, promenader & lek under arbetsveckan men för tillfället har jag enbart möjlighet att ta emot hundar (& katter) för promenader eller passning i djurägarens hem. Jag bor i Södertälje, här finns flera fina promenadstråk & grönområden i närheten. Jag går inte till en hundrastgård utan ägarens godkännande och hunden är alltid kopplad under promenaden.

Om: Jag har varit uppvuxen på en bondgård med alltid hund och många katter i närheten. Från min spädbarnstid till vuxen ålder har min familj främst haft större hundraser som schäfer och alaskan malamute, vilket har gett mig god erfarenhet av aktiva och starka hundar. Under en period har jag även varit hundrastare åt en golden retriever och ansvarade både för promenader, aktivering och omvårdnad. Utöver hundar har jag stor erfarenhet av katter. Idag har jag två små katter i min lägenhet och växte upp med flera utekatter, vilket gör mig van vid olika personligheter och behov. Jag är lugn, ansvarsfull och noggrann med varje djur för att de ska få den omsorg, trygghet och uppmärksamhet det behöver. Jag anpassar mig efter djurets rutiner och skickar gärna foton och uppdateringar för att skapa trygghet till ägaren när husdjuret är under mitt ansvar. Under sommaren arbetar jag deltid och kommer ha tid de flesta dagar och helger under eftermiddagen för både lek och mys! Till hösten kommer jag studera heltid vilket gör att det blir flexibelt med tiderna, speciellt under helgerna. Jag har tillgång att ta mig överallt i Uppsala med cykel eller buss. Hemma bor vi i en lägenhet med en nätad balkong och nära till olika parker för mysiga promenader. Hos er håller jag efter era rutiner och lämnar alltid som ni vill ha det. Jag är minimal och anpassar mig efter djuret och ägarens behov.

If I don’t reply right away, I may be asleep—but I’m very interested and will respond as soon as I’m awake. I follow your pet’s routine closely (meals, litter box/walks, and any medications only as instructed). I monitor appetite, energy, and bathroom habits, and I send clear updates multiple times a day so you can feel at ease while you’re away. With me, you’ll never have to worry about not knowing how your pet is doing. I’m gentle and patient with shy or anxious pets, and I keep a clean, safe environment while prioritizing comfort and wellbeing. I’m also very creative with enrichment—I make the most of what’s available (toys, puzzle-style treat games, cardboard boxes, etc.). I provide rich but simple enrichment—sniffing games, play sessions, and calm companionship—tailored to your pet’s personality. For treats and any human food: I only offer them with your explicit approval and after confirming allergies/sensitivities. If you’d like, I can prepare simple, pet-safe options (e.g., plain boiled meat/egg yolk/vegetables) only according to your instructions and your pet’s diet. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. Your pet gets my full attention and care. I’m gentle and attentive with both dogs and cats, and I’m great at reading their body language. I love making them feel safe and happy, and I always respect their boundaries—especially if there are areas they don’t like being touched. I pay close attention to what your pet needs in the moment—playtime, a walk/outdoor time, or quiet companionship. When they want to engage, I’m an attentive playmate. When they prefer space, I stay nearby and let them rest without disturbing them. Whether I’m caring for pets at my home or in the client’s home, I make sure to follow their usual routine and give them a lot of love and attention. I provide a safe and clean environment, follow feeding and walking schedules, and respect the pet’s individual preferences — for example, if they don’t like being touched in certain areas, I never force it. My goal is always to make them feel safe, happy, and comfortable.

Om: First of all, of course I love animals. I'm a master's student at Uppsala University and now I'm writing my thesis which means I have flexible time for your pets. My family in Thailand always has a dog, so I know that dogs and cats are your family members. 🐶I have flexible hours as I’m writing my thesis. Short notice is acceptable. 🇸🇪I’m studying SFI so I can communicate in Swedish. 🐕 I have a dog in Thailand and had one that lived 17 years so I understand dogs in every ages. There is a huge field next to my place and many people like to walk their dogs here. So I believe your dogs will have a great time.

My walks are active and structured — I work like a fitness coach, helping dogs release energy and stay balanced. Each walk includes movement, play, and simple training adapted to the dog. Result: a calmer, more focused, and happy dog. I’m flexible and available at almost any time — early morning, daytime, evening, or late hours. If you need help very early (even 5–6 AM) or later in the evening, that’s fine for me. Just contact me in advance and we can agree on a suitable time. I take a calm and attentive approach with every pet. I walk, play, and stay engaged, making sure your dog or cat feels comfortable and understood. I adjust to each pet’s personality and energy. Some need more activity, others prefer a slower pace — I follow what works best for them. I focus on safety, routine, and clear communication. I treat every animal with patience and respect, so they feel secure while you are away.

Om: I've taken care of doggies since 15 when I had my first border collie. I love giving them company, love and getting their love back. Unfortunately I had to say goodbye from them since they got sick and passed away. Because of this I learned how to take extra care of a sick babies too. I hope I can bring some love for your babies too. I'm currently available every day since I'm looking for jobs at home. If you need someone to take care of your dogs or cats I'll be flexible to adjust your needs. I believe I will give them best care. I have fenced balcony and I'll make sure no pets escape from there. I'll take dogs on a walk every 2-4 hours and always be attentive and alert. If it's drop in service then I'll make sure to respect all your instructions and play with them a lot. I have two kitties, they are very snuggly and really calm. Our home has two sandboxes, tons of toys, several water places so they always have reminders to drink water and everything prepared for kitties onboarding. Our kitties have all the vaccines and check ups up to date.
