Om: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every kind from my own home and friends’, to various shelters. My friends and colleagues have relied on me to house sit, walk, company their fluffy friends while they were away. I’ve also assisted two friends to bring up their first ever dogs from 2mo old, as well as numerous new-borns at shelters. I’m currently applying for doctoral studies so my schedule is very flexible! Message ahead of time is the best way for us to decide on a mutually suitable schedule. I currently live in a big collective, so unfortunately I cannot host your pets overnight. I can though for a few hours in day time.

Om: I had dogs and cats at home when I was a child, so I have experience with both. I enjoy having pets around, so I have experience with fish, reptiles, and insects. My experience with dogs is mainly with medium-sized breeds. During college, I looked after my sister's poodle and Shiba Inu. My relatives have a large dog, and although I didn't participate in caring for it, I have some understanding of its daily needs. I'm currently working on my master's thesis, so I mainly work from home. My schedule is very flexible; I can arrange to take care of the dog at home or walk it during the day. At the client's home, I will strictly adhere to the client's expectations in caring for the pet and follow the rules of their household. I will communicate promptly in case of emergencies and provide attentive care for the pet. I hope the client feels trusted and at ease with me in their home.

Om: I raised up my cat in UK for 5 yrs and took her back to China which took me one month for documents and 4 days on the journey. I really like dog and cat, I haven’t had a lot of experience of taking care of dog but I did play with my friends dog many times before. I believe I will become more and more experienced if you can trust me. I will do my best to take care of them. I’m a postdoc at Lund University with flexible working hours. While I do go to campus regularly for lab work, my schedule is adaptable. I can look after your pet at my apartment any two full days per week, and I’m available every day after 5 PM for walks. My apt is in a safe building without yard. It’s not big but safe to stay and I will walk them at least two times per day.

Om: To be honest, I never owned a dog/cat because my family used to travel a lot and I still travel quite a lot myself. But I always have loved them since I was a kid. The dogs/cats of my friends usually like me, I can say that I’m good at hanging out with them and caring for them. Actually the reason why I started this is also because my friend recommended me to sign this up since her dog loved me a lot. I always felt a strong connection with animals and am always trying to make a safe space for them and have both dogs and cats being a part of my life. I have some experiences sitting my friend’s cats, and volunteering in dog shelter few times. I’m currently working with my social media, from home. So I’m quite flexible with the time, and will have a plenty of time to hang out with your dogs/cats! My apartment is big enough for dogs/cats to play, and the small things are in another room that they can’t enter. There is a big park close to my apartment so when they want to play I can bring them there. Their safety and safe space come first, I will always try my best to make them feel happy and safe.

Om: I have a beautiful orange cat, her name is Molly. I'm a cat lover and I also love dogs. Despite i had a dog several years ago, I really like them and taking care of them. I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive care for your pet. During the summer, I am available for walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship throughout the day. I understand the importance of keeping pets comfortable and maintaining their routines while their owners are away. Om: I have been taking care of dogs for quite some time now. I love bonding with them ! I was always around animals since I was a child and have learned to love them . I have really managed to pay attention to their needs and individual characters. Im currently a university student at Malmö university so I dont really need to be away from home for more than 2-3 hours at a time . I do enjoy frequent walks in the nearby park ! I have a lot of time to dedicate to your companion! I do live in an apartment so I unfortunately dont have a garden but I do have a park behind the building in which I live. The balcony in closed off so there is no fear .

Om: I've taken care of cats of friendss when they’re away but not experienced as much. Time with dogs will be much less than cats for me, I am a starter with dog walking. I genuinely love spending time with them. A fun fact is in Chinese, a cat’s sound is meow, so I could say I will bring some meow-meow energised vibe whenever I get close to them🥹 I'm a full time student, and I'm usually not available on Monday, but available in the afternoon and evening on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Sometime changes a little bit because of my schedule. Weekends are always work for me. I will greet pets at the first moment of meeting, but if I don't get a response from them, I will quietly do my own thing eg. feeding food, instead of actively test their boundaries. Wait until they are willing to pop their heads out again or wait a few minutes, then I think I will started interacting with patience and energy.

Om: I have a life long bond with animals of all kinds! I have been caring for pets since childhood, such as rescued cats, turtles, stray dogs, even parrots! I truly understand the patience, love and attention each animal needs. With a British Short Hair cat in my home country and experience pet sitting my boyfriend’s dog here in Sweden, I treat every pet like family! I am available to care for your beloved pet every day of the week, and even overnight if needed. I am loyal and consistent for long-term customers :) I make sure the pet has fresh food and water, regular walks or playtime, and lots of attention. I would always keep their space clean, stick to their own routine, and I always prioritise their safety and comfort!

Om: I grew up with many pets, and am longing to spend more time with them. For 10+ years I lived with and cared for dogs, cats, birds, horses, hamsters, and bunnies. My 11 year old son and I were longer-term live-in pet sitters for a number of different dogs, and I also have experience working with dogs and cats in a vet clinic. My son and I adore animals and look forward to meeting your pets! I’ll be the primary care provider, and will supervise all interactions with my son. I work from home on Fridays and always carve out time for a long walk. On Saturdays and Sundays I am usually free all day and can plan activities according to who I am looking after :) We have a single door leading out of our apartment (into a hallway) which always remains locked. We have a large ventilated bathroom that can be used as a quiet calming space if needed, although we prefer to have your pet around to play/cuddle with (if they’re into that!) We both are very respectful of personal space, and are great at slowly building trust. Our space is organized and uncluttered. House plants can easily be put out of reach if needed, and small toys/magnets are put out of reach as well. I’m very used to baby/toddler-proofing homes as I used to be a nanny and I have a curious child, so pet-proofing comes quite naturally!

I grew up with dogs and also worked as a dog walker while I was studying, so I have experience caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels and routines. Today, I share my life with Birk, my four-year-old rescue dog (Pitbull-mix) and Myrna, my senior cat. Through Birk, I have experience with large and strong dogs, reactivity towards dogs and people and the importance of calm, predictable handling. I have also used Rover as a pet owner myself, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your animal in someone else’s care. I take instructions seriously, communicate clearly and am happy to send photos and a short update after every walk or visit. I adapt each walk and visit to the individual needs. That could mean a calm sniffing walk, a more active walk, or incorporating familiar cues and exercises. I use patient, reward-based handling and would never force interactions with unfamiliar dogs or people. I am comfortable with larger dogs and dogs that may be insecure or reactive, provided that we discuss their behaviour beforehand and have a meet-and-greet to make sure I can handle them safely. Your pet’s safety, comfort and well-being will always come first! 🐶🐱 Availability depends on my weekly schedule. I work full time, but am currently on vacation. On weekends I am generally available. Visits during the week depend on my availability marked in the calendar:) I am generally available for dog walks and home visits. If needed over-night or weekend care can also be discussed.
