Om: I have been surrounded by animals my whole childhood and in that way I learned how to take proper care of dogs and cats. Many people that I know, asked me to take care of their animals and therefore I would usually have some sort of practice all the time. I would call my self patient and understanding when it comes to pets because they require time to adapt to new people and sometimes you need to let them have their own time. That’s why I have different learned ways how to get that right contact with a pet for them to experience more comfortable time. I am currently doing my studies online and I decide my own schedule. In that way I can fit in the time for lovely animals If I take care of a cat, then my routine is to feed the cats (depending on how many times owner tells me). Spend some time playing with them if they are in the mood. Always change water in the bowl. Take care of the litter box. If the cat lets me, then I spend time petting them. In the end I like to talk to the cats as in many cases that’s what can help with the stress that pets are experiencing. For the dogs, I feed them, go on the walk with them three times a day (usually minimum of 30 minutes each walk), play with them, pet them, wash them after the walk

Om: I’m new to Rover but very experienced, you won’t regret to have me as your sitter!! I have been taking care of 2 cats for more than 5 years, and I also have experience living with dogs 24/7. I am very good at getting along with animals and can accompany them while they grow up healthy and happy. I am attentive and gentle, good at handling issues related to pets, and very clean, always keeping my pets' living environment clean and tidy. I am currently pursuing a master's degree, so my class schedule is short and flexible. Therefore, I have a lot of free time to care for pets. I live in an apartment, which makes it more suitable for caring for small dogs or cats. My room has carpets, which are perfect for cats and dogs, and they are also allowed on my bed. I will do my best to care for each pet according to the owner's requirements.

“Liv took care of our one year old bengal cat, 10 days post a tibia fracture surgery, for two whole days.  Pixi is not allowed to jump/run for 6-8 weeks and must have a cone for her stitches at least two weeks. Not needed to say this is a tough situation! However, Liv handled this without hesitation. Liv was very responsive to Pixis needs and our instructions and took own initiative when needed. It is clear that Liv has a great contact and feeling for animals. Pixi is often a bit reserved to new people but Liv has a sercure way of approaching animals and Pixi immediately made good contact with her the first time they met.  Liv did three visits the first day, five visits the second day and one on the third day. We have Pixi in a huge bunny cage in the living room. Along with the regular care such as giving food and emptying the litter box, the task was to let Pixi out in the room to monitor her walking and look at her stitches and wash with saline water if needed as well as to be inside the cage to cuddle/comb/comfort her. Liv also gave Pixi a daily medication with her food twice day. Liv managed this very well and updated us with both pictures and videos for all the visits. I was worried about leaving Pixi since she is not used to being alone but I soon realized she had the best care she could have in this not ideal situation. Liv was very swift i her communication and updated us with all the information we needed in a transparent way not leaving any import information behind, such as if Pixi took of her cone etc. Overall the contact with Liv was very easy: she helpful and is replying fast. I can only recommend Liv for taking care of your pets! Malin”

Om: I am quite familiar with cat behavior, have ample experience interacting with unfamiliar cats, and am very patient with them. I am also very popular with dogs and get along well with dogs of different temperaments. I am not afraid of getting dirty or tired; taking care of pets makes me feel healing. I am not working full time right now and I’m seeking for job. I usually take SFI courses 3 times per week, so I have a lot of free time. I will also be available during the Christmas holidays. I am willing to take photos or videos to show how are the pets doing during my shift. I will also keep a reminder of every specific requirements I need to pay attention to. I am aware of what pets are not available to, and I will be responsible for their safety.

Om: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every kind from my own home and friends’, to various shelters. My friends and colleagues have relied on me to house sit, walk, company their fluffy friends while they were away. I’ve also assisted two friends to bring up their first ever dogs from 2mo old, as well as numerous new-borns at shelters. I’m currently applying for doctoral studies so my schedule is very flexible! Message ahead of time is the best way for us to decide on a mutually suitable schedule. I currently live in a big collective, so unfortunately I cannot host your pets overnight. I can though for a few hours in day time.

Om: I've had a sweet poodle named Coffee since elementary school. I cook him yummy chicken breast and vegetable meals, walk him every morning and evening, give him baths, and play with him — he’s been my little best friend for 14 years. I also spend time with my sister's Springer Spaniel, Bingle — we go hiking and swimming by the sea together. Observing their personalities is fascinating to me: Coffee is shy, smart, and a bit defensive, while Bingle is a typical gentle “cancer boy” — warm, affectionate, and always looking for cuddles. A few years ago, I rescued a stray cat on campus — a gentle little one I named April. I took her to the vet, cared for her recovery, and eventually helped her find a loving adopter. That experience inspired me and a few classmates to create a Campus Cat Adoption mini app, designed to help stray cats on campus connect with students and staff willing to adopt. The project reached over 2,000 active users, facilitating more than 20 adoptions and 40 neutering cases. It was incredibly rewarding to see how a small idea could make a real difference for these animals. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or simply keeping them company, I always make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and happy. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and treating them as if they were my own. I currently work from home, so my schedule is super flexible! I have lots of time to care your dogs and cats——for walks, or cozy cuddles. I’m happy to offer boarding any day of the week and love being around these furry friends! ‘◡’ I live in a cozy, spacious apartment, and pets are welcome everywhere — yes, even on the bed! The area around my home is quiet and green, with a botanical garden and a few small parks, perfect for walks and exploring together.

Om: Growing up, I’ve only owned a rabbit, hamster, fish and corals as pets, but I’ve also had experience taking care of puppies (2 months old) and dogs of many breeds for friends away on vacation. I can give high-energy dogs attention and time to tend to their needs. I am also eager to update owners of their pets so that they feel safe leaving their fur babies with me! I’m currently studying Swedish while looking for jobs, so I have very flexible schedules and can walk/play with them as often and as long as they need. Your pets are my top priority when in my care! I currently have no pets in my home, so your pets will have all of the space to themselves. I will observe their emotions and needs at all times. They are allowed on furnitures in my home.
