Om: Hi! I’m Yizhen, a student at Lund University with a very flexible schedule and five years of experience caring for pets. Back home in China, I have a cat and a parrot, and I also had a dog with my grandma. I love spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I also enjoy taking beautiful photos of them—I’m always happy to capture their cute little moments! I have experience taking pets to the vet and looking after them when they’re unwell. Om: I’m a 32‑year‑old engineer working full‑time at Lund University. I’ve been surrounded by animals for most of my life. From the age of 10 to 20, I cared for my family’s Yorkshire Terrier and handled almost all daily responsibilities myself, which made me very comfortable and confident with dogs of all temperaments. I also have experience pet sitting for others: – I looked after my former supervisor’s cat for two weeks (house sitting) – I’ve cared for a friend’s chinchilla – I regularly help with a friend’s Standard Poodle, both for full‑day daycare and overnight sitting I genuinely enjoy long walks, so for dog‑walking sessions I always make sure to spend at least 30 minutes in a nearby park, giving your dog plenty of exercise and stimulation. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to those as large as a Standard Poodle. I’m usually available on weekends, and during the Christmas period (11 December 2026 – 3 January 2027) I will be staying in Lund and can offer flexible availability for walking, daycare, or sitting. I love animals and take pride in being responsible, attentive, and gentle. I will care for your pet as if they were my own. I work full‑time from 8:00 to 17:00, and I usually go running early in the morning around 6–7. This means I can take dogs out for a morning walk before work, and again after 17:00 when I’m done for the day. On weekends, I have much more flexibility. I love going for walks and spending time in parks, so it’s no problem for me to go out multiple times a day to make sure a dog feels comfortable, exercised, and happy. My apartment isn’t suitable for hosting pets, but I’m very comfortable with house sitting or visiting a pet owner’s home multiple times a day. Most pets actually prefer staying in their own familiar environment, and I’m happy to support that. When I care for pets in their home, I make sure their water is fresh, clean up any accidents, and handle basic tasks like refreshing litter for cats. I always pay attention to their comfort and safety. I also understand that every pet and every owner has different routines or requirements, and I’m always open to listening and following the instructions you prefer.

I can bring them on an adventure and make them play and have enriching experiences, smells, new places, or I can take care of them and their needs, respect their routine and keep them away from the things that scare them or triggers them. I’ve had pets all my life and I’ve been a sitter for shorter and longer periods (up to 4 weeks). I try to get your pets to know me and start a relationships with them where we trust each other. With pet that have special needs, like particular care or medications they need, I’m particularly aware and responsible of that. At home I have multiple rooms and a fenced garden. The house is quiet and pets are free to explore around if they want to. I’m also respectful of your place and your hospitality. I care not only for the pet but for the environment that surrounds them.

Djurpassning passar perfekt in i mina nuvarande rutiner. Då jag för tillfället arbetar deltid har jag gott om flexibel tid varje vecka. Jag är tillgänglig för dygnspassning under helger, vilket gör att ditt djur får full uppmärksamhet när ni är bortresta. Efter 12 juni kan jag passa vardagar och när som helst och överallt i skåne. Genom min erfarenhet av att vårda en sjuk katt är jag extra uppmärksam på små tecken på stress eller obehag. Jag följer era instruktioner till punkt och pricka när det gäller mat, mediciner och tider för att behålla djurets trygghet. Ser jag alltid till att dörrar och grindar är ordentligt stängda. Vid promenader använder jag alltid koppel. Jag anpassar leken efter djurets ålder och energinivå. Eftersom jag har vana av både den busiga valpen Smulan och äldre katter, vet jag när det behövs fart och fläkt och när det är dags för mys i soffan. Jag skickar gärna uppdateringar och bilder under passningen så att du som ägare kan känna dig helt lugn med att ditt djur har det bra.

Om: I've had a sweet poodle named Coffee since elementary school. I cook him yummy chicken breast and vegetable meals, walk him every morning and evening, give him baths, and play with him — he’s been my little best friend for 14 years. I also spend time with my sister's Springer Spaniel, Bingle — we go hiking and swimming by the sea together. Observing their personalities is fascinating to me: Coffee is shy, smart, and a bit defensive, while Bingle is a typical gentle “cancer boy” — warm, affectionate, and always looking for cuddles. A few years ago, I rescued a stray cat on campus — a gentle little one I named April. I took her to the vet, cared for her recovery, and eventually helped her find a loving adopter. That experience inspired me and a few classmates to create a Campus Cat Adoption mini app, designed to help stray cats on campus connect with students and staff willing to adopt. The project reached over 2,000 active users, facilitating more than 20 adoptions and 40 neutering cases. It was incredibly rewarding to see how a small idea could make a real difference for these animals. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or simply keeping them company, I always make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and happy. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and treating them as if they were my own. I currently work from home, so my schedule is super flexible! I have lots of time to care your dogs and cats——for walks, or cozy cuddles.
