I grew up with dogs and also worked as a dog walker while I was studying, so I have experience caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels and routines. Today, I share my life with Birk, my four-year-old rescue dog (Pitbull-mix) and Myrna, my senior cat. Through Birk, I have experience with large and strong dogs, reactivity towards dogs and people and the importance of calm, predictable handling. I have also used Rover as a pet owner myself, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your animal in someone else’s care. I take instructions seriously, communicate clearly and am happy to send photos and a short update after every walk or visit. I adapt each walk and visit to the individual needs. That could mean a calm sniffing walk, a more active walk, or incorporating familiar cues and exercises. I use patient, reward-based handling and would never force interactions with unfamiliar dogs or people. I am comfortable with larger dogs and dogs that may be insecure or reactive, provided that we discuss their behaviour beforehand and have a meet-and-greet to make sure I can handle them safely. Your pet’s safety, comfort and well-being will always come first! 🐶🐱 Availability depends on my weekly schedule. I work full time, but am currently on vacation. On weekends I am generally available. So I’m quite flexible with the time, and will have a plenty of time to hang out with your dogs/cats! My apartment is big enough for dogs/cats to play, and the small things are in another room that they can’t enter. There is a big park close to my apartment so when they want to play I can bring them there. Their safety and safe space come first, I will always try my best to make them feel happy and safe.

Jag är utbildad hundtränare, hundinstruktör, hundpsykolog (beteendeutredare) och hunddagisföreståndare. Mitt största intresse i livet är hundar och jag spenderar större delen av min fritid på att träna och tävla med mina egna! I came from Barcelona (Spain) to Ireland in 2012 to study a Zoology degree in University College Cork and last year I moved to Sweden to complete my Masters in Ethology and Animal Biology in Linköping, and later moved down to Lund to complete my doctoral studies. I’ve gained some valuable experience tracking sea turtles in Greece and minding rehabilitated chimpanzees in Fundacio MONA, Spain. I also took care of a good few dogs while I was living in Ireland using the Pawshake app and I can't wait to go back to it with this new app here in Sweden. I am currently in search of a postdoctoral position, but I’ve spare time in which I’d love to get to know your pet’s personality. I am happy to take care of all types of pets and can adapt to your schedule and routines with your pet. Om: I raised up my cat in UK for 5 yrs and took her back to China which took me one month for documents and 4 days on the journey. I really like dog and cat, I haven’t had a lot of experience of taking care of dog but I did play with my friends dog many times before. I believe I will become more and more experienced if you can trust me. I will do my best to take care of them. I’m a postdoc at Lund University with flexible working hours. While I do go to campus regularly for lab work, my schedule is adaptable. I can look after your pet at my apartment any two full days per week, and I’m available every day after 5 PM for walks. Jag studerar just nu på universitetet, vilket innebär att jag har ett flexibelt schema, och korta dagar i skolan. Jag är oftast tillgänglig på kvällar och helger, men även ofta under dagtid. Jag bor i en lägenhet i ett lugnt område i Lund, nära till stadsparken och andra promenadstråk, där jag kan rasta din hund! Utanför mitt hus finns en gräsmatta där din hund kan leka, självklart under uppsyn/ kopplad om så önskas.
Om: Hej! Jag heter Alex och är 18 år gammal. Har en egen hund som heter Bucky som är en flatcoated retriever blandras på hela 40 kg. När jag inte spenderar min tid med att leka med honom eller vara ute på promenad, så hänger jag i stallet. Har ingen egen häst, tyvärr, men brukar ta hand om olika hästar på ridskolan, samt rida vissa lite extra. Enda sen liten har jag älskat djur och har varit den mest intresserade i familjen. Har haft både hamstrar och marsvin, men den stora drömmen var en hund. Efter mycket tjat så skaffade vi äntligen Bucky när jag var 13 år. Alla tricks som han kan (förutom sitt som uppfödaren lärde honom) har det varit jag som har tränat. Tycker det är otroligt roligt att lära hundar, men även andra djur, olika tricks och se när det klickar för dem vad det är som gör att de får en belöning. Har lärt några hästar på stallet olika tricks, samt lärde mitt marsvin hur man snurrade runt när jag bara var 11 år gammal. Min erfarenhet av djur är stor. Har passat otroligt många olika hundar, både till storlek men även temperament. Är van vid hundar som man måste vara lugn med, så att de inte blir nervösa och smiter lite undan, eller blir nafsig för att säga ifrån. Hundar som är lite reaktiva på promenad har jag inga som helst problem med, eftersom det blir en liten utmaning att testa ifall jag kan hjälpa hunden med det, iallafall för stunden. Jag tänker alltid på hundens bästa och är lugn och tydlig. Jag har även passat olika sorters hästar utan problem, både lugna som små barn kan leda, men även lite stissiga som man får säga till lite så att de inte springer iväg med en i full galopp. Tveka inte att höra av er nu i sommar! Ifall hunden är lite skygg mot främmande människor så vill jag gärna hälsa på några gånger, så det blir lättare för alla när jag är själv med den. Hoppas vi ses! Just nu är jag ledig hela sommaren, förutom en vecka där jag ska åka iväg på semester. Detta gör så att jag kan gå ut med hunden när som, eftersom jag kan anpassa annan aktivitet utöver detta. Jag följer alltid instruktionerna om hur djurets rutiner är i hemmet. Jag är inte en person som tar för mig, utan gör det jag ska utan att stöka ner. Om hunden är mätt, glad och trött på att leka, kommer jag bara chilla med den tills det är dags att säga hej då. Ifall det är något som verkar otydligt, så kommer jag inte tveka med att höra av mig, så att det inte uppstår några problem eller tokigheter.
Om: I previously raised a baby kitten with my boyfriend and cared for her for about two years, so I’m familiar with daily feeding, litter cleaning, and understanding a cat’s behavior and needs. I’ve also helped many friends take care of their dogs and cats including walking medium-sized breeds like Huskies. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable handling both cats and dogs. I’m currently in the final term of my master’s degree and spend most of my time working on my thesis, which allows me to work flexibly from different locations. Because of this, I have a very flexible schedule and can adjust my time to care for pets. I’m available for dog walking, visiting pets at the owner’s home, or staying overnight with dogs if needed. I’m also occasionally available on weekends. I always make sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I carefully follow the owner’s instructions regarding feeding, walking routines, and any specific needs. During walks I stay attentive and keep dogs secure, and at home I make sure the environment is calm and safe. I’m patient, responsible, and always happy to send updates to owners if needed.

Om: To be honest, I never owned a dog/cat because my family used to travel a lot and I still travel quite a lot myself. But I always have loved them since I was a kid. The dogs/cats of my friends usually like me, I can say that I’m good at hanging out with them and caring for them. Actually the reason why I started this is also because my friend recommended me to sign this up since her dog loved me a lot. I always felt a strong connection with animals and am always trying to make a safe space for them and have both dogs and cats being a part of my life. I have some experiences sitting my friend’s cats, and volunteering in dog shelter few times. I’m currently working with my social media, from home. So I’m quite flexible with the time, and will have a plenty of time to hang out with your dogs/cats! My apartment is big enough for dogs/cats to play, and the small things are in another room that they can’t enter. There is a big park close to my apartment so when they want to play I can bring them there. Their safety and safe space come first, I will always try my best to make them feel happy and safe.
Om: Hej! Jag är en djurälskare som verkligen trivs i sällskap av både katter och hundar. Jag har erfarenhet av att ta hand om djur och är van vid olika personligheter, allt från lekfulla och energiska till lugna och försiktiga. Jag är inte det minsta djurrädd, utan känner mig trygg och naturlig runt djur. För mig är det viktigt att varje djur får det de behöver. Jag älskar att vara aktiv och går gärna långa promenader eller leker, men jag uppskattar lika mycket lugna stunder med mys och närhet om det är det djuret föredrar. Jag anpassar mig helt enkelt efter deras tempo och personlighet. Har haft hund och katt sen jag varit väldigt liten. Oavsett om ditt husdjur är stort eller litet kan du känna dig trygg med att det får massor av omsorg, uppmärksamhet och kärlek hos mig. Jag pluggar just nu första terminen på Lunds universitet och har därmed olika scheman varje vecka. Trots detta är schemat väldigt fritt då jag flera dagar i veckan inte har någon skola alls och de dagar jag är i skola brukar vara mellan 2-4 timmar. Oftast har vi föreläsningar antingen på förmiddagen eller eftermiddagen men sällan både och. Jag är även öppen för passning under helgen. Skulle ni har några funderingar är det bara att kontakta mig! Jag bor i en lägenhet på bottenplan med en mindre balkong. I lägenhetsområdet finns det en innegård men den är utan staket. Har inga problem med att ha katter eller hundar i soffan eller sängen. Lägenheten ligger på Norra Fäladen i Lund det vill säga inte i centrum. Norra fäladen erbjuder långa promenad sträckor och mycket natur samt mindre bostadsområden.
