Om: I grew up taking care of many different animals, such as dogs, cats, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, and tortoises. I learned important skills by training them and fulfilling their daily needs. I have cared for most of my dogs and cats throughout their entire lives, from youth into their senior years. Whenever they became sick, I always made sure they saw a vet to stay on top of their health. I am very responsible when it comes to their well-being, and I love giving them a lot of care and affection. I am currently at home most of the time. As a student at the University of Gothenburg, I am on summer holiday, giving me plenty of free time to care for pets. My day typically starts around 10:00, and my only regular weekly activity is going to the gym from 17:00 to 18:00. However, this never interferes with pet care because there is always someone at home—either me or my partner. If your pet needs constant companionship, my partner will stay with them, or I can take them with me while running errands, such as shopping. I will always make sure to keep you updated on our plans! Consider I will be mostly at home, so majority of the care of your pet will be 100% on me. Hosting at my apartment: I live in a cozy studio apartment (ett rum) that is the perfect size for one pet. While I do not have a balcony, the building has a spacious garden downstairs where we can hang out, and there is a nearby church with lovely green areas for walks. My neighborhood is very central, with immediate transport links to central Gothenburg. Please note that the tram passes right outside my flat, so there is some ambient noise—keep this in mind if your pet is highly sensitive to sound! Inside, I have space to set up a pet bed and food bowls, and pets are more than welcome to cuddle on the sofa and bed. For cats, I will set up their litter box in my bathroom. If your pet requires medication, I will make sure it is administered right on time, and I can store it in my fridge if it needs refrigeration. Sitting at your home: When staying at a pet owner’s home, I always make sure to keep the space clean and tidy. I will carefully follow all of your instructions and maintain constant communication with you so you always know your pet is safe and happy.

Om: For me, what I enjoy most is how quickly animals seem to trust me. I’ve had dogs that usually take days to warm up come and sit beside me within minutes. Some owners are surprised when I send them pictures of their dog sleeping next to me or wagging their tail during the first visit. I think animals just feel safe around me, and I really care about creating that kind of bond. I’ve taken care of several dogs—three labs at once, a Boston terrier, and many others in my extended family. I’m also used to adjusting my schedule for people who work unusual hours, like nurses or doctors. I don’t mind being on call or working week by week. I try to be as flexible and dependable as possible, because I know how important it is for pet owners to feel like their animals are in good hands. Om: I’ve always loved animals and feel lively around cats and dogs. Although I couldn’t have pets growing up because of my mum's allergies, I spent lots of time caring for animals from friends, volunteering and farm work. I volunteered with stray cats for about a year in uni, helping with feeding, vet visits, neutering, and finding adopters. Through this experience I learned a lot about cat behavior, body language, and stress signals. I also learned how to help nervous cats feel safe around people, and be patient when caring those ones who are always alarmed and anxious. I’ve also regularly helped friends care for their adopted cats while they were away. I have done feeding, cleaning litter boxes, playing, giving attention, and simply keeping them company based on each cat’s personality and comfort level. I enjoy getting to know different cats, shy cats, energetic cats, cuddly cats, independent cats... :) I also love spending time with dogs. During a farm work exchange, I helped care for three family dogs with daily walks, feeding, and playtime. I’m comfortable with calm daily dog care and enjoy being outdoors. I’m a patient, observant, and responsible person. I understand how important trust and communication are when someone leaves their pet in another person’s care. I’m always happy to send regular updates and photos for owners who are away. I'm a recently graduated software engineer and currently have a flexible schedule (free on weekdays and weekends) while waiting for visa, so I have plenty of time and energy dedicated to pet care. I enjoy walking and running as part of my daily routine, which makes dog walks a natural and enjoyable part of my day. I’m also happy to spend quiet time with indoor cats, making sure they feel comfortable, and not lonely while their owners are away. I always make pets feel safe, and calm in their own environment. I pay close attention to their body language, mood, eating habits, and energy levels, so I can notice if something seems unusual. For cats, I understand that some need space and patience while others enjoy more interaction and play. So I always try to build trust at the animal’s own pace. For dogs, I think safe walks, attention and positive interaction are important. I’m careful with doors, leashes, feeding instructions and routines . I understand how important communication is for pet owners, so I’m always happy to send updates and photos during visits or walks to help owners feel reassured.

I got my own dog at 10, he is a black Schnauzer called Momo. (Mo(墨) means black ink in Chinese.) I have taken care of him by myself mostly since then. I also helped my neighbors take care of their dogs since 13 years old and worked at the pet shelter on vacations in high school. I am a very patient, responsible and careful people who will take care your little babies with all my heart💖. I'm currently take only 2 courses, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding, day caring and drop-in on weekends. Walking is available every day. I live in my own apartment, so your pups will be very comfortable and safe in my place.
