“Yesterday was my first time leaving my little gremlin (a chihuahua/papillon) with a stranger, and beforehand I was worried about all the things one can imagine that a dog might come up with. However, Nguyen was so considerate and understanding that I felt quite immediately there was no reason to worry; Yami would have the best time with her! And so it happened! They connected right away, and for all I know, my worries were completely unwarranted, as Nguyen obviously has a good hand with dogs and knows how to handle both their sensitivities and quirks. Om: Both of my cats were adopted in Hong Kong. Soon after coming home,meimei caught cat flu so badly she couldn’t breathe through her nose. She recovered with treatment but was left with chronic asthma and now needs daily medication. Caring for her has made me very comfortable with common feline respiratory and digestive issues, and with giving oral medication. I also took in a stray cat in China named Mimi, who had a rare disease called amyloidosis and needed a blood transfusion. Sadly she passed away, but caring for her gave me a deeper understanding of how to handle a pet medical crisis. If you ever need someone to check on your pet at night on short notice, feel free to reach out. If it’s within walking distance, I’m glad to help.

Om: I grew up taking care of many different animals, such as dogs, cats, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, and tortoises. I learned important skills by training them and fulfilling their daily needs. I have cared for most of my dogs and cats throughout their entire lives, from youth into their senior years. Whenever they became sick, I always made sure they saw a vet to stay on top of their health. I am very responsible when it comes to their well-being, and I love giving them a lot of care and affection. I am currently at home most of the time. As a student at the University of Gothenburg, I am on summer holiday, giving me plenty of free time to care for pets. My day typically starts around 10:00, and my only regular weekly activity is going to the gym from 17:00 to 18:00. However, this never interferes with pet care because there is always someone at home—either me or my partner. If your pet needs constant companionship, my partner will stay with them, or I can take them with me while running errands, such as shopping. I will always make sure to keep you updated on our plans! Consider I will be mostly at home, so majority of the care of your pet will be 100% on me. Hosting at my apartment: I live in a cozy studio apartment (ett rum) that is the perfect size for one pet. While I do not have a balcony, the building has a spacious garden downstairs where we can hang out, and there is a nearby church with lovely green areas for walks. My neighborhood is very central, with immediate transport links to central Gothenburg. Please note that the tram passes right outside my flat, so there is some ambient noise—keep this in mind if your pet is highly sensitive to sound! Inside, I have space to set up a pet bed and food bowls, and pets are more than welcome to cuddle on the sofa and bed. For cats, I will set up their litter box in my bathroom. If your pet requires medication, I will make sure it is administered right on time, and I can store it in my fridge if it needs refrigeration. Sitting at your home: When staying at a pet owner’s home, I always make sure to keep the space clean and tidy. I will carefully follow all of your instructions and maintain constant communication with you so you always know your pet is safe and happy.

Om: I’ve been a dog owner for many years and have always enjoyed spending time with animals. Although I don’t have professional dog training experience, I understand that every dog has a unique personality, and I’m happy to be patient, play with them, and help them feel safe and comfortable. My family has had my first dog since 2015, and she is now 11 years old. In February 2025, we adopted a stray dog and now almost two years old. Caring for both a senior dog and a rescue dog has taught me responsibility, patience, and how to adapt to different dogs’ needs. Before moving to Sweden for my studies, I regularly helped take care of my dogs by walking them, playing with them, and spending quality time with them. Although my dogs are currently in China with my family, I miss being around them and would love the opportunity to spend time with dogs again. I have also volunteered several times to help care for stray dogs, which gave me even more appreciation for animals and the importance of kindness and patience. I will always treat your pet with the same love and responsibility that I would give my own. I’m currently on my summer break from university, so I have a very flexible schedule. At the moment, I spend most of my days studying, cooking, and staying at home, which gives me plenty of time to care for pets and keep them company. I can easily fit walks, playtime, feeding, and regular care into my daily routine. I’m also happy to follow your pet’s usual schedule and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I live alone in a clean and quiet 29-square-meter apartment with my own kitchen and bathroom. My home provides a safe, comfortable, and pet-friendly environment where pets can relax and feel at ease.

Have taught him basic training , leash walks, staying alone at home for a few hours I am a BIG time pet lover! Safe to say, I love pets more than humans.
