“Yesterday was my first time leaving my little gremlin (a chihuahua/papillon) with a stranger, and beforehand I was worried about all the things one can imagine that a dog might come up with. However, Nguyen was so considerate and understanding that I felt quite immediately there was no reason to worry; Yami would have the best time with her! And so it happened! They connected right away, and for all I know, my worries were completely unwarranted, as Nguyen obviously has a good hand with dogs and knows how to handle both their sensitivities and quirks. Constant updates with pics and videos throughout the evening and day proved that I could relax, and now I would definitely turn to Nguyen again for future events! Thank you; you're awesome!”

Om: I grew up taking care of many different animals, such as dogs, cats, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, and tortoises. I learned important skills by training them and fulfilling their daily needs. I have cared for most of my dogs and cats throughout their entire lives, from youth into their senior years. Whenever they became sick, I always made sure they saw a vet to stay on top of their health. I am very responsible when it comes to their well-being, and I love giving them a lot of care and affection. I am currently at home most of the time. As a student at the University of Gothenburg, I am on summer holiday, giving me plenty of free time to care for pets. My day typically starts around 10:00, and my only regular weekly activity is going to the gym from 17:00 to 18:00. However, this never interferes with pet care because there is always someone at home—either me or my partner. If your pet needs constant companionship, my partner will stay with them, or I can take them with me while running errands, such as shopping. I will always make sure to keep you updated on our plans! Consider I will be mostly at home, so majority of the care of your pet will be 100% on me. Hosting at my apartment: I live in a cozy studio apartment (ett rum) that is the perfect size for one pet. While I do not have a balcony, the building has a spacious garden downstairs where we can hang out, and there is a nearby church with lovely green areas for walks. My neighborhood is very central, with immediate transport links to central Gothenburg. Please note that the tram passes right outside my flat, so there is some ambient noise—keep this in mind if your pet is highly sensitive to sound! Inside, I have space to set up a pet bed and food bowls, and pets are more than welcome to cuddle on the sofa and bed. For cats, I will set up their litter box in my bathroom. If your pet requires medication, I will make sure it is administered right on time, and I can store it in my fridge if it needs refrigeration. Sitting at your home: When staying at a pet owner’s home, I always make sure to keep the space clean and tidy. I will carefully follow all of your instructions and maintain constant communication with you so you always know your pet is safe and happy.

Om: I’ve always loved animals and feel lively around cats and dogs. Although I couldn’t have pets growing up because of my mum's allergies, I spent lots of time caring for animals from friends, volunteering and farm work. I volunteered with stray cats for about a year in uni, helping with feeding, vet visits, neutering, and finding adopters. Through this experience I learned a lot about cat behavior, body language, and stress signals. I also learned how to help nervous cats feel safe around people, and be patient when caring those ones who are always alarmed and anxious. I’ve also regularly helped friends care for their adopted cats while they were away. I have done feeding, cleaning litter boxes, playing, giving attention, and simply keeping them company based on each cat’s personality and comfort level. I enjoy getting to know different cats, shy cats, energetic cats, cuddly cats, independent cats... :) I also love spending time with dogs. During a farm work exchange, I helped care for three family dogs with daily walks, feeding, and playtime. I’m comfortable with calm daily dog care and enjoy being outdoors. I’m a patient, observant, and responsible person. I understand how important trust and communication are when someone leaves their pet in another person’s care. I’m always happy to send regular updates and photos for owners who are away. I'm a recently graduated software engineer and currently have a flexible schedule (free on weekdays and weekends) while waiting for visa, so I have plenty of time and energy dedicated to pet care. It taught me to stay patient and watch closely for small changes in a pet’s health. I also have two cats who moved with me from Hong Kong to Sweden. The city noise there left them nervous about the outdoors, and with steady routines and positive reinforcement, I’ve been helping them gain confidence at their own pace. Whether your pet needs someone experienced with medical care, a calm presence to settle their nerves, or just company and playtime, I’m happy to help. I’m currently job hunting, so my weekdays are flexible and I have plenty of time for pets. I can offer full weekday support for dog walking and cat visits, fitting naturally around a pet’s own routine rather than being squeezed between other commitments. If you live close to me, within about a 20-minute walk, I’m also happy to help with emergency evening visits when needed. Weekends tend to be busier for me, but you’re welcome to book in advance and I’ll let you know the times that work. With two cats at home, I can’t host overnight stays. Instead, I provide care in the client’s own home, where pets stay comfortable in their familiar surroundings and keep to their usual routine.

Om: Hej, jag är uppvuxen med hund och har i många år längtat efter en egen. Men då jag jobbar skift på sjukhus kan det bli knepigt. Så detta hade varit perfekt att få hjälpa någon annan några timmar till ett dygn med sin hund. Bor centralt i lägenhet men ändå nära till grönområde och långpromenad som jag går mycket själv också. Mina föräldrar bor kvar i hus och har därför även tillgång till hus och inhängnad tomt. Jag jobbar skift på Sahlgrenska sjukhuset och schemat varierar en hel del. Mina olika arbetstider är; 06:45-15:15/13:00-21:30/21-07 . Är öppen för det mesta att hjälpa till med. Jag bor i lägenhet på 3:e våningen utan hiss med balkong. Jag gillar att vara ute och ser därför till att hunden får den aktivering som den kräver och mår bra av samt kortare till längre promenader i området. Men är öppen för en äldre hund som bara kräver sällskap i soffan. Jag har inga andra husdjur och barn vistas ej i lägenheten. Jag bor själv.
