“I have so many AMAZING things to say about Melissa and Roy!! First off, they are super communicative and quick with responses which put me at ease. From the meet and greet, all the way to pick up, they stayed communicating and sending pictures of our precious pup. During the stay, Melissa ended up needing to take our dog to the vet and was super nice and thoughtful with the entire process. They kept me updated all week long and I just know our pup enjoyed his time with them. They are some of the nicest and more caring people in the world and I know they took the absolute best care of our dog. To be honest, I dont think he wanted to leave because I know he enjoyed all the play time and yard for his walks. I cannot thank you both enough for loving on Pilot like we do and all the play time his heart desired. I trust these two with our dogs life and will certainly be using them again for pet sitting!!”

“Key is awesome! She was able to accommodate last minute. My pup is well taken care of. This is the second time I've had Kelly watch her and will continue to use her in the future. Kelly takes great care and sends me pictures daily. I will definitely be using Kelly again in the future!”

“Thank you so much for taking such great care of our pups! I always feel completely confident that they’re in good hands with you. It’s such a relief knowing they’re being loved and cared for like family while we’re away.”

“Sabrina is excellent with our 6 month old puppy. She sent us pictures or a video every day that showed he was having a great time. Everything was packed up and freshly washed when we picked him up. She even improved his skill of walking on a leash! I will definitely use her again.”

“T’Anna is the best. She always updates me on how our dogs are doing & our dogs always have a blast at her house. She is so sweet to our fur babies & they love going to her house”

“Thank you for taking such good care of our boys while we were away! You always make our trips a little less stressful knowing they are in good hands. Thank you!!”

“Terry went above and beyond with my Aussie Gracie. His home and yard were dog friendly and a paradise for my girl. Plus his interaction with her through various games was very rewarding for her. I think this was the first time I brought her home and could tell she missed the vacation she had at Terrys place. Thanks for taking well care for her!”

“Lacey sent plenty of updates while she was watching Penny and it seemed like she had a great time. Lacey was an incredible host and I will be looking for her to watch Penny again in the future when needed!”

“I think the 250 reviews speak for itself but Julie is amazing! We had a family emergency and we were able to drop off dogs off earlier than anticipated. It was my first time using rover and the first time that my dogs were taken care of by someone that wasn’t family. I just picked them up and they are two happy girls!! She also sent many photos while we were gone which was much appreciated. Thank you so much Julie 🙏 HIGHLY Recommend”

“Keri was extremely accommodating and professional during scheduling and throughout our fur baby’s stay. You can tell she knows her K9s and really loves them all. We had a rough start introducing our pup to hers, but Keri ensured our pup was comfortable and even noticed her needing extra privacy at times. She also gave us daily updates, pics and videos of her which put us at great ease!”

About: I grew up on a farm helping with animals often. I've always owned dogs and cats. I was a vet tech for 3 years. I have a dog door (it can be secured) and automatic waterer for your pet's convenience. I installed a metal gate to keep my runners from escaping out the front door. I am trained to give shots for the elderly family members. The days I work outside the house, I can meet you at 6:15 pm or later. I feed the dogs twice daily, but biscuits often. I am a homebody and I'm usually home all weekend. Your fur babies will be well loved. I have a 6-foot privacy fence, gate for the front door, dog door and an automatic water feeder. They are like family and can explore all they want. Please let me know in advance if a pet likes to lift his leg inside the house. I can provide doggy diapers.
“Five stars for April! She took wonderful care of Lutzu. He got plenty of exercise and socialization with other dogs. Loved receiving regulae photo and video updates. We will definitely be booking with her again! Thank you April !”

“Katie and her family were wonderful taking care of our two pups for 3 weeks. They knew how to approach our dogs and their needs and really helped our dogs to have a great time and become truly comfortable around kids for the first time. One of our dogs became fast friends with their dog as well. Katie updated us throughout our trip with photos and any questions they had. So thrilled we found them to take care of our fur babies when we're out of town. Couldn't recommend more!”

“Bertha is my favorite sitter and I’m sad when she isn’t available to watch our new puppy, Bali. Bertha watched our previous dog, Luna and took such great care of her, even when she was in diapers at 16 years old and on 3 medications. Bertha keeps a very clean home and our babies always return happy, healthy and clean.”

“Johanny S. did such a GREAT JOB with my dog Apache. She sent photos of my dog daily. When he was freaking out being in a Kennel/ Crate, and was scraping up his nose, she put antibacterial cream on his nose. She is very pleasant to talk to, communicate with. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs their dog watched.”

“I absolutely have no worries when we leave our Lucy with Catherine. Lucy is always sad when she leaves all her friends while in Catherine's care. Highly recommend, nice big yard, caring environment, always lots of fur friends.”

“Janae was absolutely amazing with Simba, From the very moment we met for our meet and greet, she was so kind, welcoming, and professional— it instantly put me at ease. Janae treated Simba with so much love and care, just like family. I received regular updates, with videos and pictures , videos of her continuing to do trainings with Simba that he’s learned at training class, and it was clear that Simba felt right at home. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Sanger
Johanny was so incredibly kind and flexible when I needed someone to take care of my pup VERY LAST MINUTE while I was already out of town. I had a family emergency and my friend couldn’t take care of him anymore so I rushed to find someone late at night and Johanny was quite literally the only one willing to take him in at such last minute. We are very appreciative and THANK HER a million times over. All was well upon our return.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
