“Jamie has watched my cat when he was a kitten and as he’s gotten older. She is a big animal person and loves to play with them which is awesome because by time you come home your pet is ready to relax! Her experience of her own with her pets growing up is enough to put trust that she will take care of your fur baby while you’re away. Thank you Jamie for always spoiling Jack everytime you see him!”

About: As a teacher and animal lover, I have a niche for caring for kids and animals. I love dogs and can provide the love and attention they need thanks to my own dog and taking care of the pets of friends and family. I’m currently a full-time teacher, so I can only offer 24 hour boarding on the weekends and holidays. I am, however, available to do stop ins or walking after 5pm on weekdays. 🐶Due to an influx in last minute stay requests, acceptance of a last minute request without a required Meet and Greet will result in being charged DOUBLE for the service! (Last minute, 1st time bookings put both myself and my dog at risk—if the guest is not a good fit!)🐶 My home offers an unfenced backyard for your dog(s) to run and play, but if your dog(s) is not trained, they will have to stay on leash. With this in mind, I frequent the dog park at Huron Park and take frequent walks to maintain exercise and help to release pent up energy. I also have a small, 12 pound Poochon to keep your dog(s) company. Animals in my care have free range and will not be crated unless necessary due to behavior or if it is an established routine (for bedtime, etc).

11. Amanda W.
“Amanda met with my pets for possible dog sitter. They fell in love at 1st meeting. Our plans changed so we didn't use Rover but I will recommend her to all my friends and family. We will use her in the near future that's for sure.”

12. Sarah C.

“I know Sarah from hosting her dog, Ollie, but not having her host my dog. She is super smart about dogs and their behavior. She is a great mom to Ollie and has obviously done her homework about the care and feeding of her baby. Sarah was great to work with and kept in touch about changes to her business trip. ”

13. Alec N.

“Alec was very responsible with my two cats. He seems to love animals very much. I was confident he would do everything I asked for the cats while I was gone.”

15. Alexis L.
“Alexis is great with pets! Very loving, kind and always willing to learn new things when it comes to individual pet care. She is extremely patient with new and unfamiliar pets and takes her time to learn their individual needs. She is great with walking dogs and loves to take care of cats!”

16. Macy M.

“Macy did an excellent job checking in on our dog while we were on vacation in Sandusky around July 4th. We need two visits to our rental property. She responded quickly and I felt our dog was in good hands while we were out. I would recommend Macy as your pet sitter.”

17. Darcy D.
About: Dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chickens, hamsters, rabbits, ducks… oh my! My love for all creatures was nurtured in a vibrant household where the rich variety of life included an array of animals, notably seven dogs of various sizes. This diverse canine crew ranged from tiny fluffballs to gentle giants, some tipping the scales at a whopping 100 pounds. And let's not forget about the pocket pets! As the eldest among four human siblings, I naturally assumed the role of the household's go-to animal whisperer. Our busy parents entrusted me with orchestrating the delightful chaos that came with such a diverse mix. From managing the endearing quirks of a three-pound Maltipoo to navigating the majestic antics of larger-than-life furry companions, I honed my skills in understanding the distinctive personality traits of each animal. Life in this multi-animal urban zoo taught me the delicate art of balancing playdates, catering to dietary quirks, and diffusing occasional sibling spats among our beloved pets. I previously graduated from Ottawa Hills High School in 2015. I just finished medical school and will be back in Ottawa Hills until I start residency in July. I have an extremely flexible schedule and I am willing to work with you + your pets special needs! I am not currently offering services in my home because I currently have a cat recovering from an operation and do not want to stress her out. I am willing to spend evenings in clients' homes based on your comfort.

18. Destiny S.

“Destiny was great with our boys! She took great care of them and they were so happy. We will definitely be using her again!”
