About: As a teacher and animal lover, I have a niche for caring for kids and animals. I love dogs and can provide the love and attention they need thanks to my own dog and taking care of the pets of friends and family. I’m currently a full-time teacher, so I can only offer 24 hour boarding on the weekends and holidays. I am, however, available to do stop ins or walking after 5pm on weekdays. 🐶Due to an influx in last minute stay requests, acceptance of a last minute request without a required Meet and Greet will result in being charged DOUBLE for the service! (Last minute, 1st time bookings put both myself and my dog at risk—if the guest is not a good fit!)🐶 My home offers an unfenced backyard for your dog(s) to run and play, but if your dog(s) is not trained, they will have to stay on leash. With this in mind, I frequent the dog park at Huron Park and take frequent walks to maintain exercise and help to release pent up energy. I also have a small, 12 pound Poochon to keep your dog(s) company. Animals in my care have free range and will not be crated unless necessary due to behavior or if it is an established routine (for bedtime, etc).

About: I have experience in administering medications such as insulin, I have taken care of dogs of all sizes, ages. I volunteered at a shelter for a few years. Working with feline leuk positive cats. I myself have 3 pups, and 2 cats. I’ve had animals since I was just a baby, and have cared for them since I was 6. I do work full time, but I’m available evenings 6-11pm, on weekends I have open availability, for all times needed to take care of your fur babies. I will follow all protocols you have such as leashing, and interactions with other animals if there is concerns. I will respect privacy of your home.

My love for all creatures was nurtured in a vibrant household where the rich variety of life included an array of animals, notably seven dogs of various sizes. This diverse canine crew ranged from tiny fluffballs to gentle giants, some tipping the scales at a whopping 100 pounds. And let's not forget about the pocket pets! As the eldest among four human siblings, I naturally assumed the role of the household's go-to animal whisperer. Our busy parents entrusted me with orchestrating the delightful chaos that came with such a diverse mix. From managing the endearing quirks of a three-pound Maltipoo to navigating the majestic antics of larger-than-life furry companions, I honed my skills in understanding the distinctive personality traits of each animal. Life in this multi-animal urban zoo taught me the delicate art of balancing playdates, catering to dietary quirks, and diffusing occasional sibling spats among our beloved pets. I previously graduated from Ottawa Hills High School in 2015. I just finished medical school and will be back in Ottawa Hills until I start residency in July. I have an extremely flexible schedule and I am willing to work with you + your pets special needs! I am not currently offering services in my home because I currently have a cat recovering from an operation and do not want to stress her out. I am willing to spend evenings in clients' homes based on your comfort.
