“Rick and Valerie are truly amazing hosts. This is our second time boarding our dog with them. He is a 2 year old golden doodle with a lot of energy, and he always come home exhausted. They have a fenced in back yard, very clean set home, and only sit one dog at a time. They have incredible attention to detail - they had notes printed out and taped to their kitchen cabinet that they had saved from their 1st sitting. They are experienced dog lovers and are motivated to care for your pet for the right reasons.”

“Katsumi was amazing! Felt really comfortable leaving Simba with her, she took great care of him, sent a lot of pictures daily and kept us updated on everything! Would definitely recommend.”

“Our Havanese Jordi is social but has never stayed with anyone but family. Mary and her wonderful dog Mickey made Jordi feel relaxed and at home sharing toys and his bed! “I recently went on a business trip and had Merry take care of my chihuahua while I was abroad. What I was initially most afraid of was that Happy would annoy Merry’s other dogs and would cause complications, but it ended up being the exact opposite. I haven’t seen Happy this happy (ha) before with a pet-sitter and I’m sure he misses the new friends he made. I’ll definitely have Happy coming back whenever I need to leave home for a few days!”

“I wanted to leave more than 5 stars for Heeyoung. This was the first time my two dogs stayed with Heeyoung overnight-- She sent daily texts with pictures and videos--communication was beyond amazing! I have an easy-going basset hound mix and a 10 year old Goldendoodle with some health issues that required additional instructions. Heeyoung was accommodating and knowledgeable which eased my anxiety while we were away. I would highly recommend her for daycare or overnight care. My dogs were happy and tired when I picked them up -- simply perfect!”

“What a wonderful spot for my two very large rambunctious boys to spend a week while I was away. Lots of trees around the secure yard, means a very natural, woodsy environment and easy access for the dogs to come and go from their indoor area, which is a replica of my living room (TV, couches, blankets, toys etc). I LOVED the regular updates, photos and videos. Plenty of space for my Brixton, a border collie/pit mix to run and play, while Buddy, my mastiff/pit did his usual hanging out under shade on the porch with Barbara. Most importantly Barbara has tons of experience having worked with vets and dogs! It was the first time my rescues have been with a dogsitter and the experience could not have been better. I could never consider putting my dogs in a kennel, when they had a wonderful time at Barbara's. Will definitely use again on our next getaway. Thanks Barbara and thanks DogVacay!”

“Sinead is an empathetic and kind person who adores animals. Our dogs have played together dozens of times and she has watched my dogs overnight while I was out of town. She is reliable and cautious about the animal's safety, while putting your dog's needs first. Sinead's dog Rosie is also very friendly and social, your dog will always have a playmate or buddy to lay down with. Sinead's home is clean and her backyard is secure and fenced. Your dog will be in good hands and receive the upmost care”
