Over: I've spent my entire life surrounded by dogs. I've always had a dog at home, and I've dedicated my life to volunteering at animal shelters across Spain. Additionally, I've had the rewarding experience of fostering dogs in my home, providing them with love and care until they find their families. I have a full-time job, but I frequently work from home, making it possible for me to look after the dog during the day. During the weekends I love to be in the nature! I take my dogs out for walks three times a day. They're always by my side at home, and with plenty of space to rest, they'll be comfortable and happy.

Over: Since I was young, dogs have always been by my side. One was purchased, and three others were adopted; the current one is 12 years old. I can’t bear to take her on frequent long trips, so she’s being well cared for by my parents now. I’m very experienced in taking care of unfamiliar dogs of all ages. I already have pet-sitting experience here in the Netherlands. Some from another App. The customers I’ve served have all been very satisfied. Dogs have brought so much emotional support to me and my family, helping me through many difficult times. Now that I’m living in the Netherlands and working on my thesis while job hunting and making future plans, which, I admit, can sometimes feel quite depressing. So, I truly hope to have dog companions in my life here. That’s why I’d love to offer my time as a dog sitter. My current schedule is very flexible, and I have plenty of time to be with your puppy, whether it’s for walks, playtime, or just quiet companionship. I live in a studio near the end of a quiet hallway. Even delivery people never ring the bell😂. There’s an elevator in the building, so your doggy won’t need to climb stairs, which is especially good for their joints. After every pet stay, I always clean the space thoroughly and do laundry to keep everything fresh and hygienic. Downstairs, there are plenty of green areas and small parks, including two especially for dogs. Your pet will have a great time here, both indoors and outdoors!

Over: I have taken care of pets since I was 10 years old having four dogs of my own. I am an absolute dog lover and can handle anything big or small. Not being able to have my own pets since moving to the Netherlands has been so tough and thought this would be the best idea for me to finally have some furry friends again. I am currently working part time and have Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & sometimes weekends off. So i'll have plenty of time to get your pup off your hands during your busy week ! I will always have a close eye on your pet whilst you are out and know having had my own dogs what to do in any situation that could occur.

Over: Hello! I am currently doing a Master’s degree in Animal Sciences (Animal Nutrition). My passion for animals inspired me to choose this field of study, and I have gained professional knowledge in pet nutrition, feed formulation, and animal behavior.

 Although I do not keep a pet permanently, I have one and a half year of experience in pet sitting here in the Netherlands, including cats and dogs. During this time, I have cared for different breeds including Golden Retrievers, Labradors, and especially a Shih Tzu named Cola, whom I looked after for around six months. Cola was full of energy (you cannot imagine how such a small dog can be so energetic!), so I walked him three times a day, went jogging together, and visited the dog park twice a week. Since he was not neutered, I was always very attentive to him and other dogs played with him.

I live in a student studio in Wageningen, right next to a big forest and only 500 m away from a pet park. Pets in my care will have plenty of space and opportunities for outdoor activities. As I spend most of my time studying from home, I have lots of time to give dogs and cats the love, attention, and exercise they need. According to each pet’s needs and unique situation, I take care of them based on their habits and make sure their needs are met everyday. In general, I walk dogs at least three times a day, and since I study from home, I can provide plenty of companionship — for example, by hiding treats and playing with toys.

Over: Ik heb als kind een hamster, konijn, cavia's en een hond gehad. Ook heb ik altijd op de katten van buren gepast als zij op vakantie waren. Ik heb een opleiding tot dierenartsassistent gevolgd en stage gelopen bij een dierenasiel en schapenboerderij. Momenteel ben ik bezig met mijn master Biologie, ik heb dus vooral de mogelijkheid om in het weekend op te passen. Tijdens vakanties lijkt het mij leuk om (eventueel ook voor langere tijd) bij de baasjes thuis op de huisdieren te passen. Ik vind het heerlijk om te wandelen en doe dit met liefde minimaal drie keer per dag. Ik ben gek met dieren en vind het dus geen probleem om ze aandacht te geven, te knuffelen of even lekker met ze te spelen.

Over: Despite the occasional neighbor dog walks as a kid, I have taken care of my rabbits for several years as a teenager, which taught me about the beauty of sharing your life with animals. As an adult, I have lived with my housemate's pets (both cats and dogs) for several years, providing help to their owners when needed, joining for walks, giving lots of cuddles, and keeping a second eye on the wellbeing of the cuties. Since I live in Wageningen, I have two years of experience taking primary care of the most wonderful cat, who has added so much joy and love to my life. Getting to know her, understanding her needs and boundaries, ways of communication, and typical behaviours have helped me understand and recognize signs of her wellbeing. Unfortunately a year ago, at the age of 14, she had to be put down, after a difficult time of looking after her when she was sick and needed lots of assistance. While I do not have any specific skills, I have learned about the care of pets over the years by living with different cats and dogs. I have learned to maintain a healthy respect towards them, to give them time to get accustomed to me, and prioritize their boundaries over my love for cuddles. I care for the pets in my life, no matter if it's the neighbour's cat that comes to enjoy the sun in my garden, the dog that I walk once a week, or your pet that I might look after. Currently, I am writing my MSc Thesis, so I am very flexible and appreciate the occasional break to take a dog for a walk, or drop-in for feeding a cat/dog. I promise to respect both your pet(s) and your home, to follow your instructions with care, and to be reliable in terms of the service that I provide, as well as communication.

Over: Van jongs af aan met honden gespeeld en veel gewandeld. Pas regelmatig op de viervoeters van vrienden en kennissen. Geen grotere vrienden in het leven dan deze mooie beestjes! Ik werk en ben dus beperkt beschikbaar, voor mijn vriendin - student- geldt hetzelfde. Oppas of uitlaten dus altijd in overleg. Let op: ik woon op een bovenverdieping met alleen een trap ter beschikking. Geen tuin of balkon beschikbaar. Ik zal geen ander eten geven dan thuis gedaan wordt en ga het liefst veel naar buiten met de beestjes.

Well, I can say that we had many dogs in the family over the years, and I’ve always had a way them. Teaching dogs the basics comes easy to me, and I love learning about owners and their dogs. Operating from intuition and trust, I am predictable and consistent, which makes them feel safe. On another note, I am retired and love to be outside in nature and have adventures together. Almost every day I go for a walk in the Dutch forests or sand dunes. Usually some friends will tag along. Everybody loves cruising the country roads in my Tesla model S with free electricity ;) I am not bragging here, but merely expressing my daily gratitude for what it enables us to do. It has a big trunk with a dog fence and room for one huge, or two midsized dogs :) Now, imagine your dog(s) being tended to every day, and being together outside most of the time, coming home with me in our beautiful house with kind and loving people, where they are massaged and cuddled. About multi-day stays: if you want your dog(s) to have a stable rhythm and a peaceful home at night, then that can be arranged. And if you like the idea of us going on a camping trip, then that would be quite the adventure ;) Did I mention I have Apple AirTags (with my phone number on them) to track the dogs? I could even share the dogs' location so you can see where we are ;) I am retired and available a lot, and very flexible. You can call me any day to see if I am available any of the next days. (For multi day plans please contact me some days in advance.) I will give the dog the attention it needs, and help it to feel at ease. Dogs relax with me very quickly and will get all the cuddles they desire! I usually allow dogs on my couch, but if you want me to train them a certain way (like staying on the floor) that is fine too, of course. At my home we do have stairs, but of course I will carry the dog if needed. We have safety fences for babies and dogs on every floor.
