No pet yet (still dreaming!), but lucky to care for yours. 🐶 My Dog experience I've taken care of a baby Shiba multiple times, which taught me how much patience and joy puppies bring. In Wageningen, I've done some daycare, boarding (a Teckel for one night, a Labrador for six days), and many walks. For boarding at my place, I prefer house-trained dogs because I live in student accommodation. On walks, I'll need a sturdy leash and snacks if your dog isn't friendly with others, I'll be careful to avoid other dogs too. 🐱 My Cat experience Living with a roommate's two cats for a whole year changed me. I went from not knowing much about cats to truly loving their company every day. I also cared for a friend's three cats during her vacation (feeding, medicine, and cleaning). In Wageningen, I've done multiple home visits. For boarding at my place, your cat can stay in my room or explore the corridor. 💕 My style I give cuddles but also space. I read animal body language carefully and never force interaction. Safety always comes first. I can give medicine if you provide clear instructions (paper or PDF for anything complex). 🏠 House sitting & doggy day care I live in student housing with roommates, but I'm the only one who will care for your pet. My typical day: morning feed, then a long walk plus ball play, then nap. Some dogs need three walks (afternoon and before bed). For cats: litter, grooming, play, and evening feed. Evenings are for movies, pets are very welcome on my bed, even big dogs, for lap time and cuddles. 📸 Updates I never leave pets alone for long periods. I'll send regular photos so you can relax. Since I can't have my own pet yet, I truly look forward to caring for yours. Walks, boarding, sitting, vacation care – whatever works for you. Walks & cat home visits: I'm available before and after classes, and often can work from home too. My schedule is adaptable, and I can often accommodate last-minute requests. My home & roommates I live on a student floor, and my roommates have given me permission to bring a pet. It's completely allowed and not a disturbance. The dog or cat will stay in my room. When I go to the kitchen, they might see my roommates (who usually enjoy it) but I'm the only one taking care of them! :) Preferences I prefer dogs that are house-trained because I live in a building. For cats, they are welcome to stay in my room or explore the corridor if they are comfortable doing so. Dog walks – what I need from you Please provide a sturdy leash and snacks in case your dog is not comfortable around other dogs. In that situation, I always change streets or take an alternate route when I see another dog approaching. Updates In all cases, I will send you regular photo updates so you can see your pet is happy and well cared for.

“We zijn de laatste jaren nig nooit zo zorgeloos op vakantie gegaan als nu. Diezel had het helemaal naar zijn zin. Achter de hamster aanlopen, wandelen samen met hun hond, zelfgemaakt eten krijgen. We kregen dagelijks fotos en filmpjes. Dovile had zelfs zijn mandje en knuffels uitgewassen en Diezel gedoucht, hij ruikt nou nog steeds lekker. En dat vond hij allemaal goed. En hoe raar het ook klinkt, we hebben Diezel bijna 15 jaar maar toch kregen we nog tips over hoe met hem om te gaan en over voeding die we zelf niet kenden Hij smult nog steeds van de homemade hondensnoepjes waar we een zak van meekregen. Divile zou workshops voeding en omgang kunnen geven. En het mooiste is dat iedereen die bij ons komt het idee heeft dat hij weer helemaal opgeleefd is en dat hebben we allemaal aan Dovile te danken. Soms denk ik dat hij haar ook wel mist. En hun hond ook want telkens als hij een hind ziet die er op lijkt moet hij er naar toe. We hopen dat hij nog vaak bij haar terecht zal kunnen.”

Over: I’ve taken care of all dogs , and my most recent experience was taking care of 5 dog with 4 new born puppies for 2 days which it was an amazing experience although the oldest dog ( Belgian shepherd) had a bit of jealousy over the the smaller dogs ( poodles) but overall it was manageable and cute. Im currently studying at Radboud university as an pre master student and soon it will be summer and i would have more free time . Over: I've had dogs and cats since I was little, before the age of 18 I had already trained 3 dogs that we had at home. I am comfortable with all breeds and if your dog isn't trained well that isn't an issue. I've had dogs like that before, they are just as adorable as the perfectly well trained. Apart from taking care of my own dogs I have helped out neighbours and friends with their pets from time to time, not that often in the covid times, but quite often before all this. Naast mijn studie klinische psychologie (vanuit huis) werk ik graag met dieren, omdat ik interesse heb in gedrag en het leuk vind om honden goed aan te voelen en op hun gemak te stellen. Tijdens het uitlaten kijk ik naar wat een hond nodig heeft: een rustige wandeling, spelen of juist extra beweging. Ik wandel graag actief en ga consequent en duidelijk met honden om, zodat zij structuur ervaren en zich veilig voelen. Betrouwbaarheid en een fijne, veilige wandeling staan daarbij altijd voorop. Ik ben opgegroeid met blauwe keeshonden en heb daarnaast regelmatig opgepast op honden van vrienden en familie. Honden die bij mij verblijven hebben toegang tot een ruime, afgesloten tuin waar zij veilig kunnen spelen en ontspannen. Als ik even weg moet, is dat meestal maximaal twee uur. Waar mogelijk neem ik de hond ook graag mee, zodat hij of zij zo min mogelijk alleen hoeft te zijn. Ik woon in een appartement op de eerste verdieping (zonder lift) met een ruime, volledig afgesloten tuin. Thuis wonen ook twee rustige vrouwelijke keeshonden van 10 jaar oud. De tuin kan indien nodig worden opgedeeld, zodat honden hun eigen ruimte hebben en rustig aan elkaar kunnen wennen. In huis zorg ik voor een veilige, rustige omgeving en let ik goed op de behoeften en het ritme van de hond.

I am working part-time from home, part-time from the office in Wageningen. I am mostly home in the mornings and evenings on office days; when I work from home I may run an errand or go for a run, but should be mostly home to hang out with the animals! Over: Despite the occasional neighbor dog walks as a kid, I have taken care of my rabbits for several years as a teenager, which taught me about the beauty of sharing your life with animals. As an adult, I have lived with my housemate's pets (both cats and dogs) for several years, providing help to their owners when needed, joining for walks, giving lots of cuddles, and keeping a second eye on the wellbeing of the cuties. Since I live in Wageningen, I have two years of experience taking primary care of the most wonderful cat, who has added so much joy and love to my life. Getting to know her, understanding her needs and boundaries, ways of communication, and typical behaviours have helped me understand and recognize signs of her wellbeing. Unfortunately a year ago, at the age of 14, she had to be put down, after a difficult time of looking after her when she was sick and needed lots of assistance. While I do not have any specific skills, I have learned about the care of pets over the years by living with different cats and dogs. I have learned to maintain a healthy respect towards them, to give them time to get accustomed to me, and prioritize their boundaries over my love for cuddles. I care for the pets in my life, no matter if it's the neighbour's cat that comes to enjoy the sun in my garden, the dog that I walk once a week, or your pet that I might look after. Currently, I am writing my MSc Thesis, so I am very flexible and appreciate the occasional break to take a dog for a walk, or drop-in for feeding a cat/dog. I promise to respect both your pet(s) and your home, to follow your instructions with care, and to be reliable in terms of the service that I provide, as well as communication.

Over: Hello! I am currently doing a Master’s degree in Animal Sciences (Animal Nutrition). My passion for animals inspired me to choose this field of study, and I have gained professional knowledge in pet nutrition, feed formulation, and animal behavior.

 Although I do not keep a pet permanently, I have one and a half year of experience in pet sitting here in the Netherlands, including cats and dogs. During this time, I have cared for different breeds including Golden Retrievers, Labradors, and especially a Shih Tzu named Cola, whom I looked after for around six months. Cola was full of energy (you cannot imagine how such a small dog can be so energetic!), so I walked him three times a day, went jogging together, and visited the dog park twice a week. Since he was not neutered, I was always very attentive to him and other dogs played with him.

I live in a student studio in Wageningen, right next to a big forest and only 500 m away from a pet park. Pets in my care will have plenty of space and opportunities for outdoor activities. As I spend most of my time studying from home, I have lots of time to give dogs and cats the love, attention, and exercise they need. According to each pet’s needs and unique situation, I take care of them based on their habits and make sure their needs are met everyday. In general, I walk dogs at least three times a day, and since I study from home, I can provide plenty of companionship — for example, by hiding treats and playing with toys.

 Since I was in junior high school, my family has had two younger brothers, Cookie and Oreo. Therefore, I have more than 8 years of experience in raising dogs. I have taken care of small dogs (such as Teddy and Bichon) and large dogs (such as Golden Retriever and Labrador). 

If you are willing to let me take care of your dog, I will eat with him, play his favorite toys with him, take him for walks, and let him sleep with me (if he wants).

Over: Hoi, wij zijn Alan en Madeleine. Alan is Italiaans en spreekt Engels, ik ben Nederlands. Wij hebben thuis altijd katten en honden gehad. Wij zijn pas samen gaan wonen in Ede en hebben op dit moment (nog) geen eigen huisdieren, maar missen de gezelligheid van een hond of een kat soms toch wel. Doordeweeks is er bijna altijd iemand thuis omdat we veel thuis werken. In het weekend zijn we ook bijna altijd wel beschikbaar en zijn we flexibel. Ik houd er erg van om lange wandelingen te maken, dus heb je een hond die wat energie kwijt moet, ben je bij mij aan het goede adres! Verder hebben wij een omheinde tuin en een groot huis. We wonen dicht aan de bosrand en hebben snelle toegang tot het bos voor wandelingen. Wij bezitten geen auto.

“Wij zijn enorm fijn geholpen door Rashida. Doordat ik met werken begon, en onze hond pas 3,5maanden oud was, hadden wij veel hulp nodig. Hierbij heeft Rashida erg goed geholpen, door op hem te passen zelfs bij ons thuis. Ze is betrouwbaar en goed met honden, dus ik kan iedereen aanraden haar te vragen als je hulp nodig hebt met je hond!”

Over: My love for animals it is not a secret, so of course my family and friends trusted me to feed, walk or check on their pets everytime they needed, and I did it gladly, because I know a pet it is not just a pet, it is part of the family. Right now I'm still studying and learning the dutch languague, so I have some free time to do whatever I need. This allows me to have some free time for this side job. I need to know certainly if the pets are ok with strangers, because as much as I like to interact with them I am not quallified to work with agresive dogs or cats, so I have to know this first. Then I like to know about their rutine, what they eat and if they have special needs. If I have to walk them I always like to bring them to the Park with their leash and let them sniff the grass, bushes etc. I don't let them interact with other dogs unless the owner request this. When it comes to feed them at your place I always like to give them their food or if the owner request me to play or walk their pet, I do this first so they can do whatever they have to do at the Park.

Over: Van jongs af aan ben ik gek op honden! Liefst honden waar je lang mee kunt wandelen, rennen en spelen. Energiek. Ik ben via mijn ouders, familie en vrienden veel in aanmerking gekomen met honden. Pas nu ook regelmatig op en loop met een hond voor de organisatie Dierenbuddy. Momenteel zit ik tussen twee banen in en ben ik meer thuis. Ik doe vrijwilligerswerk, maar heb veel uren over. Deze besteedt ik al veel buiten (in het bos). Aangezien ik veel van honden houd hoop ik die twee te kunnen combineren! Ik woon in een appartement op steenworp afstand van een hondenlosloopgebied. Voor een langere wandeling steek ik zo door naar het grote bos Den Treek. Thuis zou een hond ook even kunnen vertoeven, maar we gaan natuurlijk vooral naar buiten.

Over: Van jongs af aan altijd katten gehad en ik pas al langere tijd op honden van vrienden en kennissen. Ik heb momenteel de tijd en ruimte om met diertjes te knuffelen en lekker te gaan wandelen, dus wees welkom om contact op te nemen als je een oppas zoekt. Ik ben momenteel aan het revalideren, wat inhoudt dat ik een paar keer per week weg ben voor maximaal 4 uur aan een stuk. Verder heb ik werkzaamheden die ik flexibel in kan vullen in en om huis, wat maakt dat er voldoende aandacht en ruimte is voor wandelingen, speelpartijen op het hondengrasveld achter mijn straat en geknuffel. Ik heb een rustig huis wat ik deel met mijn vader die ook regelmatig naar het buitenland is. Katten mogen op de bedden en de bank. Honden mogen ook op de bank, mits op de hondendeken. De tuin is omheind, wat betekent dat een hond niet weg kan, een kat wel want er is hier genoeg te klimmen en onderdoor te gaan.

Over: I've spent my entire life surrounded by dogs. I've always had a dog at home, and I've dedicated my life to volunteering at animal shelters across Spain. Additionally, I've had the rewarding experience of fostering dogs in my home, providing them with love and care until they find their families. Over: Hello! I am currently doing a Master’s degree in Animal Sciences (Animal Nutrition). My passion for animals inspired me to choose this field of study, and I have gained professional knowledge in pet nutrition, feed formulation, and animal behavior.

 Although I do not keep a pet permanently, I have one and a half year of experience in pet sitting here in the Netherlands, including cats and dogs. During this time, I have cared for different breeds including Golden Retrievers, Labradors, and especially a Shih Tzu named Cola, whom I looked after for around six months. Cola was full of energy (you cannot imagine how such a small dog can be so energetic!), so I walked him three times a day, went jogging together, and visited the dog park twice a week. Since he was not neutered, I was always very attentive to him and other dogs played with him.

I live in a student studio in Wageningen, right next to a big forest and only 500 m away from a pet park. Pets in my care will have plenty of space and opportunities for outdoor activities. As I spend most of my time studying from home, I have lots of time to give dogs and cats the love, attention, and exercise they need. According to each pet’s needs and unique situation, I take care of them based on their habits and make sure their needs are met everyday. In general, I walk dogs at least three times a day, and since I study from home, I can provide plenty of companionship — for example, by hiding treats and playing with toys.

Over: Despite the occasional neighbor dog walks as a kid, I have taken care of my rabbits for several years as a teenager, which taught me about the beauty of sharing your life with animals. As an adult, I have lived with my housemate's pets (both cats and dogs) for several years, providing help to their owners when needed, joining for walks, giving lots of cuddles, and keeping a second eye on the wellbeing of the cuties. Since I live in Wageningen, I have two years of experience taking primary care of the most wonderful cat, who has added so much joy and love to my life. Getting to know her, understanding her needs and boundaries, ways of communication, and typical behaviours have helped me understand and recognize signs of her wellbeing. Unfortunately a year ago, at the age of 14, she had to be put down, after a difficult time of looking after her when she was sick and needed lots of assistance. While I do not have any specific skills, I have learned about the care of pets over the years by living with different cats and dogs. I have learned to maintain a healthy respect towards them, to give them time to get accustomed to me, and prioritize their boundaries over my love for cuddles. I care for the pets in my life, no matter if it's the neighbour's cat that comes to enjoy the sun in my garden, the dog that I walk once a week, or your pet that I might look after. Currently, I am writing my MSc Thesis, so I am very flexible and appreciate the occasional break to take a dog for a walk, or drop-in for feeding a cat/dog. I promise to respect both your pet(s) and your home, to follow your instructions with care, and to be reliable in terms of the service that I provide, as well as communication.

Not being able to have my own pets since moving to the Netherlands has been so tough and thought this would be the best idea for me to finally have some furry friends again. I am currently working part time and have Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & sometimes weekends off. So i'll have plenty of time to get your pup off your hands during your busy week ! I will always have a close eye on your pet whilst you are out and know having had my own dogs what to do in any situation that could occur.

No pet yet (still dreaming!), but lucky to care for yours. 🐶 My Dog experience I've taken care of a baby Shiba multiple times, which taught me how much patience and joy puppies bring. In Wageningen, I've done some daycare, boarding (a Teckel for one night, a Labrador for six days), and many walks. For boarding at my place, I prefer house-trained dogs because I live in student accommodation. On walks, I'll need a sturdy leash and snacks if your dog isn't friendly with others, I'll be careful to avoid other dogs too. 🐱 My Cat experience Living with a roommate's two cats for a whole year changed me. I went from not knowing much about cats to truly loving their company every day. I also cared for a friend's three cats during her vacation (feeding, medicine, and cleaning). In Wageningen, I've done multiple home visits. For boarding at my place, your cat can stay in my room or explore the corridor. 💕 My style I give cuddles but also space. I read animal body language carefully and never force interaction. Safety always comes first. I can give medicine if you provide clear instructions (paper or PDF for anything complex). 🏠 House sitting & doggy day care I live in student housing with roommates, but I'm the only one who will care for your pet. My typical day: morning feed, then a long walk plus ball play, then nap. Some dogs need three walks (afternoon and before bed). For cats: litter, grooming, play, and evening feed. Evenings are for movies, pets are very welcome on my bed, even big dogs, for lap time and cuddles. 📸 Updates I never leave pets alone for long periods. I'll send regular photos so you can relax. Since I can't have my own pet yet, I truly look forward to caring for yours. Walks, boarding, sitting, vacation care – whatever works for you. Walks & cat home visits: I'm available before and after classes, and often can work from home too. My schedule is adaptable, and I can often accommodate last-minute requests. My home & roommates I live on a student floor, and my roommates have given me permission to bring a pet. It's completely allowed and not a disturbance. The dog or cat will stay in my room. When I go to the kitchen, they might see my roommates (who usually enjoy it) but I'm the only one taking care of them! :) Preferences I prefer dogs that are house-trained because I live in a building. For cats, they are welcome to stay in my room or explore the corridor if they are comfortable doing so. Dog walks – what I need from you Please provide a sturdy leash and snacks in case your dog is not comfortable around other dogs. “We zijn de laatste jaren nig nooit zo zorgeloos op vakantie gegaan als nu. Diezel had het helemaal naar zijn zin. Achter de hamster aanlopen, wandelen samen met hun hond, zelfgemaakt eten krijgen. We kregen dagelijks fotos en filmpjes. Dovile had zelfs zijn mandje en knuffels uitgewassen en Diezel gedoucht, hij ruikt nou nog steeds lekker. En dat vond hij allemaal goed. En hoe raar het ook klinkt, we hebben Diezel bijna 15 jaar maar toch kregen we nog tips over hoe met hem om te gaan en over voeding die we zelf niet kenden Hij smult nog steeds van de homemade hondensnoepjes waar we een zak van meekregen. Divile zou workshops voeding en omgang kunnen geven. En het mooiste is dat iedereen die bij ons komt het idee heeft dat hij weer helemaal opgeleefd is en dat hebben we allemaal aan Dovile te danken. Soms denk ik dat hij haar ook wel mist. En hun hond ook want telkens als hij een hind ziet die er op lijkt moet hij er naar toe. We hopen dat hij nog vaak bij haar terecht zal kunnen.”

Over: I've had dogs and cats since I was little, before the age of 18 I had already trained 3 dogs that we had at home. I am comfortable with all breeds and if your dog isn't trained well that isn't an issue. I've had dogs like that before, they are just as adorable as the perfectly well trained. Apart from taking care of my own dogs I have helped out neighbours and friends with their pets from time to time, not that often in the covid times, but quite often before all this. Over: Ik ben Kees, 27 jaar, en ik hou ervan om buiten actief bezig te zijn — het liefst samen met een hond. Naast mijn studie klinische psychologie (vanuit huis) werk ik graag met dieren, omdat ik interesse heb in gedrag en het leuk vind om honden goed aan te voelen en op hun gemak te stellen. Tijdens het uitlaten kijk ik naar wat een hond nodig heeft: een rustige wandeling, spelen of juist extra beweging. Ik wandel graag actief en ga consequent en duidelijk met honden om, zodat zij structuur ervaren en zich veilig voelen. Betrouwbaarheid en een fijne, veilige wandeling staan daarbij altijd voorop. Ik ben opgegroeid met blauwe keeshonden en heb daarnaast regelmatig opgepast op honden van vrienden en familie. Honden die bij mij verblijven hebben toegang tot een ruime, afgesloten tuin waar zij veilig kunnen spelen en ontspannen. Naast een ruime tuin ga ik graag wandelen in het bos waar ook een groot losloopgebied is. Ik maak graag kennis, zodat we kunnen kijken of het een goede match is voor jou en je hond. Op dit moment studeer ik grotendeels vanuit huis, waardoor ik het grootste deel van de dag thuis ben. Daardoor kan ik de hond veel aandacht, gezelschap en regelmatige wandelingen geven. Als ik even weg moet, is dat meestal maximaal twee uur. Waar mogelijk neem ik de hond ook graag mee, zodat hij of zij zo min mogelijk alleen hoeft te zijn. Ik woon in een appartement op de eerste verdieping (zonder lift) met een ruime, volledig afgesloten tuin. Thuis wonen ook twee rustige vrouwelijke keeshonden van 10 jaar oud. De tuin kan indien nodig worden opgedeeld, zodat honden hun eigen ruimte hebben en rustig aan elkaar kunnen wennen. In huis zorg ik voor een veilige, rustige omgeving en let ik goed op de behoeften en het ritme van de hond.

Over: Mijn naam is Shishi en Ik heb een Beagle genaamd Xiaoli, met wie ik een diepe band heb opgebouwd. Voor mij voelt ze echt als mijn kind. Het verzorgen van een hond is niet eenvoudig: ze moet worden gesocialiseerd, haar voeding moet zorgvuldig worden gecontroleerd, en ze heeft dagelijks beweging nodig. Beagles hebben veel energie en een sterke drang om overal aan te snuffelen. Daarom neem ik Xiaoli elke dag mee voor een run, meestal meer dan 10 kilometer. Xiaoli had vroeger last van verlatingsangst, maar na veel inspanningen kan ze nu zonder problemen alleen thuis blijven. Ze heeft echter nog steeds veel beweging nodig. Ik laat haar graag vrij rondrennen, vooral als ik op de fiets ben. Ze rent altijd veilig aan de rechterkant van mijn fiets mee. Soms zit ze ook in het fietskarretje als we samen op pad gaan. Elke week gaan we minimaal twee keer naar het hondenpark. Ik geniet ervan om de honden te zien spelen en achter elkaar aan te rennen. In het weekend verkennen we vaak nieuwe bossen. Het meest bezoeken we Velp, waar ik momenteel ook bezig ben met het trainen van Xiaoli in tracking. Haar Beagle-neus is ontzettend scherp, en het is prachtig om haar te zien werken. Mijn auto is uitgerust met speciale veiligheidsgordels voor de honden op de achterbank. Xiaoli houdt van blaffen, wat typisch is voor Beagles. Hoewel het luid kan zijn, klinkt het voor mij als een grappig geblaf, een beetje zoals een ezel. Ik neem maximaal twee honden per dag aan, zodat ik elke hond de aandacht kan geven die ze verdient. Honden zijn immers honden, en het kan soms uitdagend zijn om meerdere honden bij elkaar te hebben. Daarom plan ik altijd een kennismaking voordat een hond bij mij blijft, zodat we kunnen zien of alles goed verloopt. Xiaoli is goed getraind en komt thuis direct tot rust. Haar uithoudingsvermogen en gehoorzaamheid zijn het resultaat van onze dagelijkse hardloopsessies en trekspelletjes. Ik werk momenteel als zelfstandige. Ik werk de helft van de tijd vanuit huis en de andere helft in mijn magazijn. Mijn dag begint altijd met een wandeling met mijn hond Xiaoli. Rond 11 of 12 uur waarna ik Xiaoli meeneem naar mijn werkplek waar ik een magazijn heb waar ik werk tot ongeveer 15:00 uur. Tijdens mijn werktijd neem ik ook een pauze om de honden uit te laten. Daar heb ik ook een speelruimte ingericht voor de honden, zodat ze lekker kunnen spelen terwijl ik werk. Rond 16:00 uur ben ik weer thuis, waarna ik opnieuw met de honden ga wandelen.Ik heb momenteel zeven à acht vaste klanten, allemaal ontzettend lieve honden. Ik hou echt van hen en ik weet zeker dat ze altijd plezier hebben bij mij. Ik houd de baasjes regelmatig op de hoogte van de activiteiten van hun honden, zoals uitlaten, eten en spelen. Over voeding ben ik erg kieskeurig. Ik geef geen bewerkte producten zoals supermarktvoer of ingeblikt voedsel. In plaats daarvan kies ik voor verse ingrediënten of gedroogd vlees. Xiaoli is niet kieskeurig en eet vrijwel alles, maar ik zorg er altijd voor dat haar voeding gezond is. Het boek ‘Forever Dog’ heeft me enorm geïnspireerd en aangemoedigd om honden de beste zorg en voeding te bieden. Soms neem ik de honden mee op uitstapjes, zoals autoritten, boottochten, boswandelingen en zelfs treinreizen. Een van mijn mooiste herinneringen is onze reis naar de Oostenrijkse Alpen. Waar ik ook naartoe ga, ik neem Xiaoli graag mee. Vorig jaar tijdens een boswandeling rende Xiaoli het struikgewas in. Plotseling zag ik haar stilzitten, wat erg ongebruikelijk was. Toen ik dichterbij kwam, zag ik bijen op haar rug. Ik besefte meteen dat dit een noodsituatie was, omdat een allergische reactie levensbedreigend kon zijn. Ik tilde Xiaoli onmiddellijk op en rende naar de dichtstbijzijnde dierenkliniek. Hoewel ze slechts 10 kilo weegt, was het dragen van haar tijdens het rennen zwaar. De dierenarts gaf haar snel een injectie tegen de allergische reactie en vertelde me dat mijn snelle reactie haar leven had gered. Toch was ik enorm geschrokken en emotioneel. Ik kan me geen leven zonder haar voorstellen. Voor honden die blijven overnachten, wil ik benadrukken dat ik geen honden accepteer met ernstige verlatingsangst. Als je hond mogelijk blijft overnachten, bied ik een gratis proefperiode aan waarbij de hond enkele uren bij mij kan blijven. Dit geeft mij de kans om te beoordelen of het een goede match is. Verder accepteer ik geen honden die niet buiten kunnen plassen, ernstig onvriendelijke honden, of honden die extreem veel blaffen. Hoewel ik persoonlijk geen problemen heb met blaffende honden, kunnen mijn buren dat wel hebben.We willen ze niet storen, dus helaas kunnen we geen honden ontvangen die binnenshuis graag blaffen. Als je op zoek bent naar een zorgzame hondenoppas, neem dan gerust contact met me op. We kunnen een kennismaking regelen, zodat we kunnen zien of jouw hond zich prettig voelt bij mij en Xiaoli. Ik sta doorgaans rond 8 uur 's ochtends op en geef mijn hond dan water. We gaan samen naar het park en spelen daar 60-90 minuten. Eenmaal thuis spelen we nog wat spelletjes en laat ik haar rusten. Rond 3 uur ga ik weer met de hond naar buiten voor een wandeling en spelen we opnieuw. 's Avonds, wanneer ik thuiskom, krijgt Xiaoli haar avondeten. De socialisatie van Xiaoli is redelijk goed. Als we onderweg situaties tegenkomen, laat ik haar naar mij kijken en gaan zitten. Thuis, indien nodig, moet ze teruggaan naar haar bench om te gaan slapen.

Over: I've always had animals at home, 2 dogs, a cat, turtles, bunnies. Recently I have moved by my own to the Netherlands, where I don't have the possibility of having pets anymore, therefore I would love to spend my free time with animals! I have taken care of friends and family pets in the past. My schedule is very flexible. We can arrange it to your own routine, I'm usually free during the mornings and afternoons, but somedays of the week I work part time in a restaurant. I'm not available to take care of animals at my place at the moment, but we can always go to the park, on a walk, or stay at their homes even.
