Over: Hi, I'm Carla! Animals have always had a very special place in my life. Being around them makes me genuinely happy, and becoming a pet sitter is a way for me to spend more time doing something that truly fulfils me. My inspiration One of the biggest reasons behind this step is Zara, my American Bulldog. She was sweet, gentle and incredibly sociable, although, like the great lady she was , she could also be a little temperamental and selective! Zara taught me so much about respecting an animal's individual personality, needs and boundaries. When she passed away in October 2025, she left a huge space in my life. Her loss also made me realise how much being around animals means to me. It gave me an even stronger desire to spend my time caring for, learning from and simply being close to other animals. In many ways, becoming a pet sitter is my way of following that feeling. Our family and home I live with my husband and my teenage son and my American bully size pocket, named Bully, a very special member of the family. I believe it's important to be completely transparent: i have a dog living in my home. For this reason, every dog staying with me will be carefully introduced and assessed beforehand to make sure every dog feels safe and comfortable. I don't want to fill my home with as many dogs as possible. I prefer to offer a calm, loving family environment where every dog receives individual attention and care. A garden to play, relax and simply be a dog. I have a large garden where dogs can enjoy the outdoors, play, explore and have some freedom. The garden is completely enclosed and secure, with mostly grass, giving dogs plenty of space to relax, explore and enjoy some outdoor time. I also enjoy providing mental enrichment activities, adapted to each dog's personality and needs. After all, keeping their minds active can be just as important or more then physical exercise! And of course, sometimes the best activity is doing absolutely nothing just simply relaxing on the grass and enjoying a little sun, when the Dutch weather allows it! Above all, I value the safety of every dog in my care. The garden has been prepared with this in mind, so dogs can enjoy their time outside in a safe environment. My experience All my life i had contact with animals like dogs, cats, birds and even a very naughty parrot. Living with and caring for my own dogs has taught me a lot about routines, wellbeing and the importance of noticing even the smallest changes. I also have practical experience with dogs with allergies and sensitive skin, including skin-care routines and ongoing maintenance. Any specific care is always provided according to the owner's instructions and, where necessary, veterinary guidance. How I can help Loving home boarding for dogs, following a prior introduction Doggy day care Pet sitting and companionship Dog walks I enjoy taking dogs on calm walks through quite green surroundings, with canals and open spaces nearby. Every dog on my care will have 3 walks per day at least. There are also designated areas where dogs can safety enjoy some off- leash time. For safety reasons, i prefer to keep dogs on a leash during walks. The length of each walk depends on the will, energy and how much dog is having fun but in general, each walk lasts around 30 minutes, giving the dog a calm, relaxed moment. Home visits Feeding according to your pet's routine. Medication administration when clearly instructed. Can be daily skin care routine, pills or another type of medication. Playtime and mental enrichment Basic hygiene care. For over night stays, I have comfortable beds and crates available if necessary, depending on each dog's needs and what they are used to. Regular photo and video updates, ALWAYS For cats: Unfortunately, I can't host cats in my home because i have Bully, but I would be very happy to care for them in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. What matters most to me I know how difficult it can be to leave our pets in someone else's care. They are not "just animals", they are family. That's why I like to get to know every pet before caring for them. I want to understand their personality, routine, likes, dislikes and individual needs. My goal is simple: to make your pet feel safe, loved, respected and happy while you're away and to give you peace of mind knowing they are being cared for with genuine attention and affection. I would love to meet you and your furry family member and see if we're a good match. At the moment, I work part‑time only in the mornings, three days a week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday), with reduced hours. This means that every afternoon and the rest of the week I’m fully available for walks, daycare, pet_sitting and boarding, depending on what each family needs. Even on the mornings when I’m working, my schedule is flexible enough to offer early walks or evening visits. I always try to organise my routine so every pet gets the attention and care they deserve. My goal is to leave my part‑time job soon, because I truly feel happiest when I’m surrounded by dogs. This is the path I want to follow, and I’m slowly shaping my life around it. I’m committed, present and always honest about my availability, so you can feel safe knowing your pet is in good hands. A day with me is personal, simple and real. In my daily routine with the doggies, I like to keep everything light, calm and full of affection. Every dog that arrives is welcomed as if they were already part of my little family. My Bully, always sweet and social, helps set the tone and makes newcomers feel safe right away. I start by checking how each dog is feeling: their mood, energy, any special needs, medication or skin care. Every dog has their own rhythm, and I follow that rhythm naturally. Throughout the day, I make sure we have at least three walks, always adapted to what each pup enjoys. Some love exploring every corner, others prefer short and peaceful walks and even when the ground is wet, the routine continues, because they need that time outside. If the weather allows it, the safe backyard becomes the favourite spot: playtime, running, sniffing around and relaxing in the sun. After every outdoor moment, I clean their paws so they stay comfortable and tidy. I like to balance physical play with mental stimulation, which I find very important. Search games, small challenges, individual attention… and of course, plenty of allowed laziness. Here, every pup rests whenever they want, without pressure. In my home, getting on the sofa is allowed and cuddles in bed too, but always discussed with the owners first, I don’t want to create habits that don’t fit each family. If I’m caring for a dog in their own home, I keep the same routine: walks, playtime, hygiene, attention and respect for the family’s space. I’m a true dog mum, and I treat every guest with the same affection I give my own dog. At the end of the day, seeing each dog calm, safe and happy is what moves me, it’s the feeling that I’m on the right path.😊

Over: Hello, guardians! I've always had animals since I was a child from large dogs to small mongrels. I've always loved animals, they are pure and we are lucky to have them around ☆ I've had 6 dogs with my family at the same time, not to mention all the others that came and went. I loved each and every one of them and they had a beautiful life! Now that I've moved here (I'm Brazilian and we're adapting and preparing to get another pet, but due to numerous trips, it's not the right time). So I think it's a great time to take care of animals in need when their owners can't be around! I'll try to get to know your pet and play with him in the way he likes, whether it's playing tag, fetching a ball or biting toys For those who aren't too restless, they will get affection and peace ♡ |'ll be very happy to take care of your pet, I'll give him all the affection I would give him if I could have an animal again. I work part-time as an artist, so I’m home most of the time and can give your pet plenty of attention. My husband also works from home, so there will be two people around to play with and walk your dog. We take quick potty breaks every three hours and go for one long walk in the late afternoon. And if you need only walks, I can come to your home for longer walks at whatever time works for you I don't have pets at home, and I only accept one pet at a time. Therefore, your dog will truly be the center of attention. Free access to the house, beds, and sofa. (unless you don't like it in your home, in which case I'll follow the same routine he's already used to)

Over: Hoi! Mijn naam is Maaike en ik ben een echte hondenliefhebber. Honden betekenen ontzettend veel voor mij en ik vind het belangrijk dat ze zich veilig, ontspannen en geliefd voelen. Ik ben zorgzaam, geduldig en geef iedere hond de aandacht die hij of zij verdient. Ik pas me graag aan de behoeften van jouw hond aan. Of jouw hond nu behoefte heeft aan een korte wandeling, een lange wandeling, lekker spelen of juist rustig knuffelen, ik zorg ervoor dat hij of zij zich op zijn gemak voelt. Omdat ik momenteel thuis ben van mijn werk, ben ik erg flexibel en is er veel ruimte voor persoonlijke aandacht. Wel heb ik één belangrijke voorwaarde: ik neem alleen honden aan die NIET verharen. Daarnaast vind ik een goede klik ontzettend belangrijk, zowel voor mij als voor jouw hond. Daarom vind ik het fijn om, wanneer jouw hond komt logeren, eerst een proefnachtje af te spreken. Zo kunnen we rustig kennismaken en kijken of jouw hond zich prettig voelt bij mij en of er van beide kanten een goede match is. Mijn doel is dat jij met een gerust hart de deur uit kunt, wetende dat jouw hond alle liefde, aandacht en zorg krijgt die hij of zij verdient. Momenteel werk ik niet en ben ik flexibel. Zit veel thuis momenteel. Zo af en toe ga ik de deur weleens uit. Maar nooit voor heel lang. Ik woon in een appartementen complex aan water met natuur, hier kunnen de honden lekker los lopen of aan de lijn. Het is een rustig gelegen buurt

Over: I have had a German Shepard for all of my childhood who I took care of daily, walking her everyday and taking care of her. In her older years her back legs became paralysed so she had to use a wheelchair, so I have a lot of experience with older dogs who are not in their full mobility. Now recently for the past year I have got a Labrador puppy, who is full of energy, and not easy to walk, so I have a lot of experience with younger dogs as well who are not fully trained yet. I also have lived in a household with two cats, so I have experience of taking care of them and even walking a cat on a leash. I do not have a preference for kinds of dogs or cats, I approve of them all. I’m a student, so my schedule varies from week to week, but I have a lot of flexibility and availability. My classes usually only take up part of the day, and I also have days with no classes at all. This allows me to easily plan pet care around my schedule and make plenty of time for your pet. I’m also fully available on weekends! I always make sure that pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Before taking a pet for a walk, I make sure I fully understand their individual needs, routines, and anything I should avoid, and I keep this in mind throughout the walk. I live in an apartment without a balcony, but I’m happy to take pets outside for regular walks and make sure they get plenty of fresh air and exercise.
