Zo beschik ik over een bench voor honden, meerdere kamers die kunnen dienen als rustige plekken, en een beschutte tuin waar dieren veilig kunnen spelen en ontspannen. De omgeving hier is ook heel toegankelijk en fijn voor honden. Leuke wandelgebieden. Mijn eigen Border Collie is sociaal en kan goed grenzen aanvoelen, wat zorgt voor een harmonieuze omgeving. Voor katten die minder gewend zijn aan honden kan ik gemakkelijk aparte ruimtes creëren, zodat iedereen zich veilig en comfortabel voelt. Ik ben in principe altijd thuis en zorg ervoor dat het verblijf van uw huisdier zo aangenaam en stressvrij mogelijk is, met veel aandacht, liefde en persoonlijke zorg.
Over: Als kind hebben we een familie hond gehad. Nu ik op mijzelf woon in Rotterdam Zuid, lijkt het mij leuk en gezellig om af en toe op een hond te kunnen passen. Ik heb een ruime tuin en verschillende uitlaat plekken bij mij in de buurt. Stuur gerust een berichtje. Ik werk fulltime met 1 vaste kantoordag, namelijk de dinsdag. Ik heb vaak geen weekend plannen en ben door de weeks veel thuis. Hierdoor kan ik ook door de weeks beschikbaar zijn als oppas. Ik woon alleen op de begane grond in een woning van ongeveer 50m2, hiernaast heb ik ook een ruime tuin, met hekken. In de buurt is het zuiderpark waar je lekker kan wandelen.

Over: Vanaf mijn 13e tot ik uit huis ging, had mijn vader een fokkerij (boxers) en kwamen we meermaals per week bij de hondenclub waar we onze eigen honden - en de honden van anderen - trainden. Op mijn 14e deed ik voor het eerst zelf mee aan een wedstrijd (VZH, voor de kenners), waarbij baasjes en hun honden laten zien hoe gehoorzaam de hond is. Ik ben dus écht opgegroeid met honden, zowel die al goed luisteren, als die... Een steuntje in de rug nodig hadden ;-). Ik heb geen probleem met angstige of getraumatiseerde honden, slopers of agressievelingen word ik een stuk minder gelukkig van. Mocht je specifieke regels gehandhaafd willen zien, laat het mij gewoon weten en dan zorgen we samen dat jouw hond lekker consistent blijft! Op maandag en woensdag werk ik thuis, en van vrijdag tot en met zondag heb ik weekend! In de zomer werk ik normaliter de hele week thuis, stuur vooral even een berichtje om te kijken wat er mogelijk is. Uiteraard heb ik in de weekenden regelmatig sociale afspraken gepland, maar een week van tevoren weet ik zeker wat er mogelijk is. Ik heb geen buitenruimte (behalve een balkon), maar als een hond bij mij verblijft, zorg ik ervoor dat die in ieder geval 3 keer per dag een rondje buiten loopt. Ik woon in een buurt met veel andere honden, dus tijdens een rondje wandelen zal je hond met andere hondjes in aanraking komen. Je hond is altijd aangelijnd, los lopen is in mijn buurt geen optie. Ik woon in een appartement (~45m2) dus je hondje kan alleen bij mij blijven als hij niet heel veel beweegruimte nodig heeft. Honden mogen niet op meubels (bank/stoelen) of in de slaapkamer. Gelukkig zit ik zelf graag op de grond, dus knuffels komen ze niet zo snel tekort :)

Over: I've taken care of my female boxer when I was 11 and now, 20 years later, my best friend is my golden-roller retriever Chef Cappuccino. I cook his food, all his snacks are 100% meat, and I am training him with the STSK9 method. I am highly aware of body language, have knowledge of neuroscience of dogs' brain, provide somatic exercises after walks to relieve stress, and do fitness exercises to take care of the muscles and bones. I am working fully remote, so the dogs will always have someone with them. I live nearby open fields - perfect for getting away from the stressful urban environment. I provide both mental and physical fulfilment - walk my own dog 3-4 times a day (min 30' each), play different games, training (fitness and obedience). I clean their paws and do a general wiping after every walk to avoid infections. I have a fenced garden and a house big enough for each dog to have its room (if needed). A crate is also available either for training or chilling. Bed, towels, toys are also available.

Over: We have had dogs for the past 5 years. We go everyday for walks in the fields where they can happily dog around. We also do daily training exercises at home to keep challenging them mentally. And cuddles, loads of cuddles! One of us works fully from home and the other one does 65% home office. Weekends are chill with extra long walks, either close to home or we take the cargo bike to explore places with our pawed friends. The garden is fully enclosed and there is always one of us at home. Ondertussen heb ik een eigen hond samen met mijn partner Sil, Frida een border collie. Samen trekken we er graag op uit, de natuur in om te wandelen. Als uw huisdier bij ons thuis verblijft dan delen ik en mijn partner de zorg over uw dier. Sil heeft veel ervaring met veel verschillende honden, heeft bij een hondenschool en dagopvang gewerkt. Of uw huisdier jong of oud is, of op een andere manier speciale aandacht nodig heeft, dat is geen enkel probleem. Momenteel studeer ik, daarnaast heb ik genoeg tijd om voor uw huisdier te zorgen, en anders springt mijn partner bij als het nodig is. We wandelen meerdere keren per dag met onze hond Frida dus als het te combineren valt is helemaal mooi meegenomen. En om voor katten in hun eigen woonomgeving te verzorgen is altijd mogelijk. We wonen op de eerste etage in een mooie groene buurt, de balkonzijde van de woning is heel rustig en zonnig. We zijn flexibel en kijken naar wat uw huisdier nodig heeft, en wat goed is voor hem/haar.

Finally, before going to sleep, we'll go for a walk again. I’ve also stayed with dogs who are crated and am comfortable with crate commands. For their safety, I highly recommend crating puppies under 2 years old and any dog with a pattern of chewing or swallowing household items (remotes, pillows, etc.) when you are not home. Crate-trained pets will be crated per the owner’s instructions. Having an 11-year-old husky means I have had my fair share of experience with unexpected veterinary visits and emergencies. I am comfortable communicating symptoms to veterinary professionals with thorough details as needed. I have years of experience monitoring pets’ symptoms when they are sick, providing at home first aid, and acting quickly when additional care is needed. Veterinary Care & Emergency Transport Policy: While veterinary care and especially emergency veterinary care is a rare circumstance of a booking, pets can be unpredictable. When a medical facility advises veterinary care based on a description of symptoms over the phone, pet sitter will advise seeking veterinary care. If pet owner objects to seeking veterinary care when medically necessary, pet owner will be responsible for either taking over care of their pet themselves or securing a different caregiver expeditiously. To ensure the pet sitter is adequately compensated in extenuating circumstances, please be advised that for any unexpected or emergency travel or transport, pet sitter will provide receipts and apply a charge for reimbursement of costs incurred to your booking. An additional charge will also be applied to the cost of your booking at an hourly rate starting at the time of departure to the vet and ending at the time of either arrival to your home or, if your pet is required to stay at the vet, departure from the vet + time it takes to travel to the pet sitter’s home from the vet. This will include any additional trips back and forth to and from the vet to visit or pick up your pet based on the roundtrip to the vet from pet sitter’s or your home. Hourly rates are as follows: 8am-5pm: €10/hr 5pm-10pm: €12/hr 10pm-8am: €16/hr Holidays & Weekends: €18/hr *veterinary emergency room visit wait times can exceed 8 hours on weekends and holidays Cleaning & Vehicle Damage Policy: If pet sitter is required to clean up bodily fluids due to illness (vomit, urine, blood, diarrhea, etc) in order to maintain a safe environment in your home, their own home, or their personal vehicle, a one-time fee of €40 will be applied to your booking. The pet sitter will also require reimbursement by the pet owner for any cleaning supplies that are not readily available in the pet owner’s home. Injury To Pet Sitter Policy: If, under any circumstance, the pet sitter is injured by a pet, the pet sitter will require reimbursement for related medical expenses by the pet owner.

Over: I've taken care of my female boxer when I was 11 and now, 20 years later, my best friend is my golden-roller retriever Chef Cappuccino. I cook his food, all his snacks are 100% meat, and I am training him with the STSK9 method. I am highly aware of body language, have knowledge of neuroscience of dogs' brain, provide somatic exercises after walks to relieve stress, and do fitness exercises to take care of the muscles and bones. I am working fully remote, so the dogs will always have someone with them. I live nearby open fields - perfect for getting away from the stressful urban environment. I provide both mental and physical fulfilment - walk my own dog 3-4 times a day (min 30' each), play different games, training (fitness and obedience). I clean their paws and do a general wiping after every walk to avoid infections. I have a fenced garden and a house big enough for each dog to have its room (if needed). A crate is also available either for training or chilling. Bed, towels, toys are also available.

Over: I was taking care of all my neighbours dogs in my previous appointment in Amsterdam. In love with them and like to take them out for long walks. (Also run with the dogs that likes it) I’m working remotely all the time and can take care of dogs in my place for day, nights or both. Walking them outside, let them play in my fenced yard or run if they are into that are what I could offer. I can take care of cats in your place as I have minor allergies to some of them and it will become major if I stay with them longer. For dogs, I’m open to keep them at your place or mine. I have no pet by my own but like them more than anything else.

Via een grote Britse website pas ik op momenteel op honden en katten in het buitenland in ruil voor een verblijf zodat ik kan reizen. Via Rover.com zoek ik honden waarop ik kan passen als ik thuis ben. Ik maak nog wel steeds graag een uitzondering voor oppassen in bepaalde gebieden in Londen, in het bijzonder rondom Hyde Park, maar ook veel andere parken daar zijn geweldig voor honden: St James's Park, Regent's Park, Battersea Park, Holland Park, Primrose Hill, en Hampstead Heath. Mijn ervaringen hebben me flexibel, vindingrijk en bekwaam gemaakt om met uitdagingen om te gaan die zich tijdens de afwezigheid van de eigenaar kunnen voordoen.
