Over: Hallo! Ik ben Daphne en ben opgegroeid met allerlei huisdieren, zoals honden, katten, ratten, konijnen en hamsters. Op dit moment woon ik samen met twee lieve katers en weet ik als geen ander hoe belangrijk het is om met een gerust hart op vakantie te kunnen gaan. Ik heb de opleiding tot gedragstherapeut voor katten afgerond en heb veel ervaring met katten met uiteenlopende medische en gedragsproblemen, zoals onzindelijkheid, sproeien, angst en agressie. Daarnaast ben ik verpleegkundige, waardoor ik ervaren ben in het toedienen van medicatie, zowel oraal als via injecties. Tijdens je vakantie kom ik één of twee keer per dag bij je thuis om je huisdier de zorg en aandacht te geven die hij of zij nodig heeft. Ik verzorg eten en drinken, dien indien nodig medicatie toe, verschoon de bak/kooi of ik loop een rondje met je hond, speel en knuffel, als hij of zij daarvan houd en hou je dagelijks op de hoogte. Indien gewenst geef ik ook je planten water. Ben je op zoek naar een betrouwbare en ervaren oppas? Stuur mij gerust een bericht om kennis te maken. Over: Ik ben opgegroeid met katten en heb daardoor veel ervaring met hun verzorging en gedrag. Daarnaast heb ik ook ruime ervaring met honden, onder andere doordat er op mijn werk twee honden aanwezig zijn waar ik regelmatig voor zorg. Momenteel heb ik zelf drie katten thuis, wat betekent dat ik helaas geen opvang bij mij thuis kan aanbieden. Wel kom ik graag langs om jouw huisdier in zijn of haar vertrouwde omgeving te verzorgen. De verzorging van huisdieren is goed te combineren met mijn dagelijkse routine. Ik ben flexibel inzetbaar en kan zowel doordeweeks als in het weekend langskomen. Omdat ik gewend ben om dagelijks voor mijn eigen katten te zorgen, is het voor mij vanzelfsprekend om hier tijd en aandacht voor vrij te maken. Ik plan bezoeken zorgvuldig in, zodat elk huisdier de aandacht krijgt die het verdient. Ik vind het belangrijk dat huisdieren zich veilig en comfortabel voelen in hun eigen omgeving. Daarom verzorg ik katten het liefst bij het baasje thuis, waar zij zich het meest op hun gemak voelen. Ik neem de tijd om hun gedrag te leren kennen en ga rustig en geduldig met ze om. Daarnaast houd ik mij aan duidelijke afspraken en zorg ik voor een betrouwbare en vertrouwde aanwezigheid wanneer jij er niet bent.

I will take them out for walks as often as required. And if they stay at my house for a long period of time, they may gain a little weight. I love to pamper them with food.

Over: Hi. I don’t have years of experience with dogs, so I still have a lot to learn. I am a very quick learner and all I need are clear instructions, of which i will also take notes in my notebook. I study law and will probably sometimes do some reading while petsitting when everything is going well. I speak english and dutch fluently. I also memorize rules very fast and I take the well-being of the furbaby very seriously. There’s been various occassions in which I met hypervigilant, reactive, anxious and traumatized animals, but shockingly they warmed up to me really fast. Their owners were just as surprised to see their pet all over me or even falling asleep on me, they have told me that they felt safe with me. One adorable but very reactive and sadly anxious malinois even lets me sleep on him (he hates it when anyone else, including his favorite person does that and will normally just get up immediately). I have since the age of 9 been fascinated by psychology and eventually i started researching about animal psychology (mostly cats, dogs, and various birds such as crows and pigeons), so I pay very close attention to their body language and I do not waste time when something seems a little off. I am very communicative and will immediately text the owner if faced with any complications. i will provide the furbaby anything he needs/desires. You won’t have to worry about me leaving a mess in case of a home visit, i will clean up after the pet every time. There’s not really anything I wouldn’t be open to do (i am very talkative, i really tried to keep it short!!) I am a law student and have a lot of time this summer break. I am flexible and am willing to negotiate with a loving cat owner on the services, timing and even price. I usually am available on weekdays, but I’m willing to also take care of the furbaby on saturday and sunday and adjust my schedule. I would appreciate if bookings are done/cancelled a few days ahead, but I am flexible and understand that in some cases it’s just not doable. In those cases i could accept a short term booking/cancellation, when there’s no other choice left. I live in a student dormitory, so sadly it would not be healthy or safe enough for the pet to stay at my place yet until i have made the proper changes in my room and have communicated with my housemates (which i will when everything is ready). I am more than willing to visit the pet myself. I am very alert (but also calm in order not to stress out the pets ofcourse) and will keep my eyes on the furbaby the whole time. I won’t be easily distracted and I take my responsibility very seriously, pets are just like little kids and need and deserve all the care and safety in the world. If preferred by the owner(s) i will frequently send updates and videos of the pets having fun. I will also record their medication time and send a quick picture during their scheduled meal time. I have a great memory and i can take on any challenge when given clear instructions (I will take notes of every small detail if necessary), so I am a quick-learner. I’m also completely fine with a pet-cam in house (if the owner wishes to know what’s going on) as the cat’s safety is all that matters to me. I also like to keep things and rooms organized, so the owner doesn’t have to worry about me leaving a mess. I will gladly clean after the pet (in case of the pet having zoomies for example) and myself. I would like to meet up first to get to know the pet and the owners for certainty and a peace of mind for all parties involved.

Over: NL/EN/DE/FR Ik ben Steve, woonachtig in Capelle aan den IJssel in de omgeving van Rotterdam. Ik heb altijd huisdieren gehad (katten, honden) vanaf jongs af aan en ik heb nu een geweldige kat Loekie, die de 'baas in huis' is bij ons. Ik werk niet dus heb ik tijd om door de weeks voor andere dieren te zorgen. Ik weet zelf hoe moeilijk het is als je op vakantie gaat en je moet je kleine prins/prinses achterlaten. Als wij weg gaan wordt Loekie twee keer per dag door de buurvrouw verwent met eten maar ook met aandacht en snoepjes. Ik wil het zeldfe voor jou/jullie kat(ten)/hond(en) te doen. In het verleden ben ik wel oppas voor katten en honden van buren geweest, en dat wil ik nu voor meer mensen gaan doen. Ik heb een auto, dus ben mobiel, en vind het geen moeite om een of twee keer per dag op katten in de buurt te passen, of honduitlaatservice (30 minuten per buurt) te bieden. Eten, water, spelen, fototje maken.. noem maar op! Ik ben in Engeland geboren dus 'no problem to speak english'. Ik spreek ook Frans en Duits als dat nodig is. Als je mij wilt boeken, doen we eerst altijd een kennismakinggesprek, zo kunnen we richtlijjnen en dergelijken bespreken. Ik ben door de weeks vanaf 08.30 beschikbaar sochtends, smiddags, en savonds ook in de weekend (24h house-sitting alleen maandag t/m vrijdag). Laat me weten wat je nodig hebt. I am free monday to sunday, mornings, afternoons and evenings for cats care, dog walks and short stays. Let me know what you require. Happy to help and often available. I have a small, private and enclosed garden and live very close to parks, greenery and dog playgrounds. Perfect for walking and toiletry needs when required.
