Ik ben een zeer ervaren huizenruiler en heb 14 jaar via uitwisselingen op huizen en huisdieren gepast in - en buiten Europa. Ik weet dus hoe het voelt om dieren bij iemand achter te laten en hoe het is om voor andere dan eigen dieren te zorgen. Sinds 2024 heb ik zelf geen dieren meer, ze zij allen overleden. Mijn vaste oppas hond (was 15) en vaste oppas poes (was 17) zijn in 2025 overleden. Het is een beetje stil. Via een grote Britse website pas ik nu op honden en katten in het buitenland in ruil voor een verblijf zodat ik kan reizen. Over: Ik ben opgegroeid met de Ierse setter van mijn opa & oma, ik bracht veel tijd met haar door, iedere dag wandelen en spelen met haar. Hier is mijn liefde voor honden begonnen. Ondertussen heb ik een eigen hond samen met mijn partner Sil, Frida een border collie. Samen trekken we er graag op uit, de natuur in om te wandelen. Als uw huisdier bij ons thuis verblijft dan delen ik en mijn partner de zorg over uw dier. Sil heeft veel ervaring met veel verschillende honden, heeft bij een hondenschool en dagopvang gewerkt. Of uw huisdier jong of oud is, of op een andere manier speciale aandacht nodig heeft, dat is geen enkel probleem. Momenteel studeer ik, daarnaast heb ik genoeg tijd om voor uw huisdier te zorgen, en anders springt mijn partner bij als het nodig is. We wandelen meerdere keren per dag met onze hond Frida dus als het te combineren valt is helemaal mooi meegenomen. En om voor katten in hun eigen woonomgeving te verzorgen is altijd mogelijk. We wonen op de eerste etage in een mooie groene buurt, de balkonzijde van de woning is heel rustig en zonnig. We zijn flexibel en kijken naar wat uw huisdier nodig heeft, en wat goed is voor hem/haar.

It was my first time leaving Peachy with a dog sitter, so I was a bit nervous, but Maria made me feel very calm and reassured while I was away. Over: Im in love with animals and would wanna always try my best to keep them safe, happy and loved as they deserve it. I do not have that much experience in serious pet sitting but I have always been around pets and have taken care of them and played with them quite a lot. Usually i have good experience with them and pets love me:)<3 My previous roommate and I used to have a cat and pet sit together sometimes, dogs as well. However in my new apartment, i just have one room (25m2) and is perhaps not the best living situation for especially bigger dogs. Otherwise small quiet pets is doable still at my place. You can find the photos in my gallery. I have a small balcony which is nice and our front door is a closed off open area. But inside the house would be mainly in my bedroom✨ But i am more than happy to take care of them in their own home and spoil them or whatever is needed. I can be quite flexible with my time. I need more pets and animals around me as i miss it:')) Ik spreek ook goed Nederlands :) I have a part time job which is mainly during evenings until midnight ish, sometimes i go to my art studio to work there which I differs the time schedule, but it is a big space and sometimes I can bring pets with me as well:) as long as they re known to be more on the quiet side hahaa. For the rest I sometimes have classes that I attend to or am with friends, but I eventually always come back home within 3 hours max, I live also quite close to Rotterdam centraal which is nice. I have a partner that stays over sometimes and then we both take care of the pet as well which we love:)))<3 Now I only have one bedroom space with a pet proof balcony for myself, I have a kitchen next to my room and a bathroom upstairs. Enough space for a pet to wander around but also not so big for a bigger dog for example. I also have a closed off front door terrace which is also nice:)) and a little park literally next to my house yey. I am quite flexible being at a pet owners house which I understand sometimes that might be easier for a pet. When it is good weather I can walk or bike to that place if its around my area, otherwise I go with transport (I would charge the transport a bit as well since those are expensive :')) I respect the houserules ofcourse and will let the pet owner know about any updates and news:)))<3

I have dog boarded a few dogs at my home as well for long stays (+30 days) & accept dogsitting and walking dogs that ate leash trained. I have a flexible schedule, so I can adjust my agenda to best fit yout pet schedule. For cats I can visit early in the morning or evening, as they are usually more active then. I can dogsit/ walk many times a day if needed. Please check my calendar but don't hesitate to request petsitting days alternatives. For house boarding:I have a backyard facing the canal, there is a fence 1m20cm high. Unfortunately I cannot accept cat boarding because I have 2 small birds( they have their own room) At CLIENTS: rest easy, I will take good care of pets and if needed plants too! Also I can do some light cleaning before you arrive , to leave everything as you left before the holidays (e.g. vacuum, put trash out)

Ik zorg graag voor lange wandelingen, aandacht, spelletjes en natuurlijk veel knuffels, zodat jouw hond zich helemaal thuis voelt. Ik werk fulltime, maar wel dicht bij huis. Met name in de avonden en weekenden heb ik tijd om op een hond te passen of een hond uit te laten. Ik woon in een fijn appartement met balkon op Noordereiland. Wel op de derde verdieping en zonder lift, dus traplopen of optillen is wel een eis. Uitlaten kan natuurlijk altijd!

I would mostly be available during the weekend, and on the weekday depends on the school schedule. I sometimes don't have many classes so it's also possible that I'm free the whole day. I am now studying my masters in innovation management at Erasmus University Rotterdam and have lots of free time outside of school. Over: 10 years ago I became best friends with a girl who had four cats and they absolutely stole my heart. My family were dog people so I had never had cats but those four kittens stole my heart and ever since then I only grew to love them more. Whenever my friend used to travel I would come every day to clean their litter box, feed and play with them for a bit. I would go for hours every day because they were the cutest! She had one rescue, a Maine coon and two Persians. One of the Persians was my best friend, the rescue was a menace and the other two kept to themselves, I loved them as they were and I promise to do the same with your fur babies. Since I’m a student who doesn’t own an apartment I can’t adopt a cat myself but I’ll assure you I’ll treat your cat(s) as my own. I can promise they will know nothing but love from me, even if they hiss and hide.

Over: Ik ben opgegroeid met de Ierse setter van mijn opa & oma, ik bracht veel tijd met haar door, iedere dag wandelen en spelen met haar. Hier is mijn liefde voor honden begonnen. Ondertussen heb ik een eigen hond samen met mijn partner Sil, Frida een border collie. Samen trekken we er graag op uit, de natuur in om te wandelen. Als uw huisdier bij ons thuis verblijft dan delen ik en mijn partner de zorg over uw dier. Sil heeft veel ervaring met veel verschillende honden, heeft bij een hondenschool en dagopvang gewerkt. Of uw huisdier jong of oud is, of op een andere manier speciale aandacht nodig heeft, dat is geen enkel probleem. Momenteel studeer ik, daarnaast heb ik genoeg tijd om voor uw huisdier te zorgen, en anders springt mijn partner bij als het nodig is. We wandelen meerdere keren per dag met onze hond Frida dus als het te combineren valt is helemaal mooi meegenomen. En om voor katten in hun eigen woonomgeving te verzorgen is altijd mogelijk. Over: Hi. I don’t have years of experience with dogs, so I still have a lot to learn. I am a very quick learner and all I need are clear instructions, of which i will take literal notes. I study law and will probably sometimes do some reading while petsitting when everything is going well. I speak english and dutch fluently. I also memorize rules very fast and I take the well-being of the furbaby very seriously. There’s been various occassions in which I met hypervigilant, reactive and anxious animals, but they warmed up to me quickly. One adorable but very reactive and sadly anxious malinois even lets me sleep on him (he hates it when anyone else does that. I have since the age of 9 been fascinated by psychology and eventually started researching about animal psychology (mostly cats, dogs, and various birds such as crows and pigeons), so I pay very close attention to their body language and I do not waste time when something seems a little off. I am very communicative and will immediately text the owner if faced with any complications. i will provide the furbaby anything he needs/desires. You won’t have to worry about me leaving a mess in case of a home visit, i will clean up after the pet every time. I am a law student and have a lot of time this summer break. I am flexible and am willing to negotiate with a loving cat owner on the services, timing and even price. I usually am available on weekdays, but I’m willing to also take care of the furbaby on saturday and sunday and adjust my schedule. I would appreciate if bookings are done/cancelled a few days ahead, but I am flexible and understand that in some cases it’s just not doable. In those cases i could accept a short term booking/cancellation, when there’s no other choice left. I live in a student dormitory, so sadly it would not be healthy or safe enough for the pet to stay at my place yet until i have made the proper changes in my room and have communicated with my housemates (which i will when everything is ready). I am more than willing to visit the pet myself. I am very alert (but also calm in order not to stress out the pets ofcourse) and will keep my eyes on the furbaby the whole time. I won’t be easily distracted and I take my responsibility very seriously, pets are just like little kids and need and deserve all the care and safety in the world. If preferred by the owner(s) i will frequently send updates and videos of the pets having fun. I will also record their medication time and send a quick picture during their scheduled meal time. I have a great memory and i can take on any challenge when given clear instructions (I will take notes of every small detail if necessary), so I am a quick-learner. I’m also completely fine with a pet-cam in house (if the owner wishes to know what’s going on) as the cat’s safety is all that matters to me. I also like to keep things and rooms organized, so the owner doesn’t have to worry about me leaving a mess. I will gladly clean after the pet (in case of the pet having zoomies for example) and myself. I would like to meet up first to get to know the pet and the owners for certainty and a peace of mind for all parties involved.

I build my day around your pup’s routine—morning/evening walks, feeding on schedule, potty breaks every 3–4 hours, and enrichment (snuffle mats, basic training games). I’m quick to respond, send photo updates, and can be flexible for last-minute needs whenever possible. Your pet’s safety is my first priority. I start with a meet-and-greet to learn routines, health needs, triggers, and house rules. In my care, dogs are supervised, kept on leash outside unfenced areas, and never introduced to new dogs without permission. I keep doors locked, use secure collars/harnesses, and carry ID, water, and waste bags on walks. Ik heb altijd huisdieren gehad (katten, honden) vanaf jongs af aan en ik heb nu een geweldige kat Loekie, die de 'baas in huis' is bij ons. Ik werk niet dus heb ik tijd om door de weeks voor andere dieren te zorgen. Ik weet zelf hoe moeilijk het is als je op vakantie gaat en je moet je kleine prins/prinses achterlaten. Als wij weg gaan wordt Loekie twee keer per dag door de buurvrouw verwent met eten maar ook met aandacht en snoepjes. Ik wil het zeldfe voor jou/jullie kat(ten)/hond(en) te doen. In het verleden ben ik wel oppas voor katten en honden van buren geweest, en dat wil ik nu voor meer mensen gaan doen. Ik heb een auto, dus ben mobiel, en vind het geen moeite om een of twee keer per dag op katten in de buurt te passen, of honduitlaatservice (30 minuten per buurt) te bieden. Eten, water, spelen, fototje maken.. noem maar op! Ik ben in Engeland geboren dus 'no problem to speak english'. Ik spreek ook Frans en Duits als dat nodig is. Als je mij wilt boeken, doen we eerst altijd een kennismakinggesprek, zo kunnen we richtlijjnen en dergelijken bespreken. Over: I have been a dog owner since I was 3 years old. I also attended dog trainings with my own dogs and trained them after. My dog lives back home so I do not see him a lot and I miss having a dog around which is why I signed up. I had a very easy female dog as my first and a very dominant not so easy male dog as my second, so I have experience with different tempers. I also watched my friends dogs a lot. I am currently unemployed looking for jobs so I have a lot of free time. I also have two roomates, one works from home a lot and the other can work from home if needed. I live in an apartment building where we had dogs around before and had no issues with safety. It is a big apartment so dogs can have enough space to run around and have fun. Het park is a 5-10 minutes walk from us which is very convenient for nice walks.

Lately I've been dog sitting for friends when on holidays and here on rover, and I'm really loving it (and the dogs are loving it too😇!). I am very flexible time wise. I can walk your dog up to 4 times a day, and spend plentiful of time playing with them. I like to schedule a video chat or in person meeting before taking care of a new dog to know all the practicalities and see if we are a good fit. I like playing a lot with dogs and making sure they are feeling happy and at home. I have a fenced courtyard and parks (e.g. het park) to walk them close by. I walk on leash. I have another dog (samoyed, male, you can see in the profile) that gets along with other dogs. So we can make them meet before to make sure they get along.
Over: Ik heb mijn hondje als een maand oude puppy in het bos gevonden en sindsdien zijn we samen. Ze is mijn eerste eigen hond, maar ik krijg regelmatig complimenten over hoe goed ze is opgevoed. Ik heb een jaar de tijd gekomen om haar op te voeden en te trainen, daarna ben ik enkele jaren met haar gaan backpacken. Hierdoor ben ik het gewend om altijd controle over mijn hond te hebben, ongeacht wat voor situatie we in zijn. Ook heb ik regelmatig contact met andere honden of pas ik op andere honden/dieren van vrienden en familie, en heb ik op verschillende boerderijen gewerkt. Ik ben echt een dieren mens en over het algemeen zijn dieren snel en makkelijk met mij in omgang. Momenteel ben ik vrij van verplichtingen en heb ik dus veel tijd en ben ik flexibel qua planning. Ik geef de voorkeur aan langere termijn housesitting. I will take my time to get to know your dog, and to introduce him/her to Kiwi. If necessary this can be done on neutral terrain or a walk. My own dog gets food twice per day, she is okay with other dogs but if necessary they can be kept apart while eating. Normally I walk her one to three times a day, depends on the weather, time, etc. For your dog I will follow the instructions you provide and take care that the dogs will be social to each other, or at best tolerate and respect each other.

Over: Ik ben opgegroeid met de Ierse setter van mijn opa & oma, ik bracht veel tijd met haar door, iedere dag wandelen en spelen met haar. Hier is mijn liefde voor honden begonnen. Ondertussen heb ik een eigen hond samen met mijn partner Sil, Frida een border collie. Samen trekken we er graag op uit, de natuur in om te wandelen. Als uw huisdier bij ons thuis verblijft dan delen ik en mijn partner de zorg over uw dier. Sil heeft veel ervaring met veel verschillende honden, heeft bij een hondenschool en dagopvang gewerkt. Of uw huisdier jong of oud is, of op een andere manier speciale aandacht nodig heeft, dat is geen enkel probleem. Momenteel studeer ik, daarnaast heb ik genoeg tijd om voor uw huisdier te zorgen, en anders springt mijn partner bij als het nodig is. We wandelen meerdere keren per dag met onze hond Frida dus als het te combineren valt is helemaal mooi meegenomen. En om voor katten in hun eigen woonomgeving te verzorgen is altijd mogelijk. We wonen op de eerste etage in een mooie groene buurt, de balkonzijde van de woning is heel rustig en zonnig. We zijn flexibel en kijken naar wat uw huisdier nodig heeft, en wat goed is voor hem/haar.

I grew up in Kenya, where my parents’ have always had dogs, and since I was around 10, I’ve taken care of dogs and puppies of different breeds, from Golden Retrievers to Malteses. I have experience with feeding, walking, giving oral medication, grooming, basic training, and raising puppies. I now live in Rotterdam (Delfshaven area) and don’t have any dogs of my own here yet, but I love them, which is one reason I joined this platform! One thing that makes me a bit different from many sitters is that I usually only take care of one pet at a time and don’t have pets of my own. So if your dog is uncomfortable/anxious around other dogs or just prefers having all the attention, that's no problem. Of course, I’m happy to look after social dogs too! I work full-time in climate policy research, but I mainly work from home and only go to the office a maximum of once a week. My schedule is also very flexible, so I can take dogs out throughout the day, usually around four times: morning, lunchtime, late afternoon, and before bed. I live in an apartment but have figured out lots of different green walking routes nearby. I don’t leave dogs home alone. If I ever need to step outside, my partner, who also loves dogs, will be there to take care of them. I know every dog is different and that you’ve probably created a routine that works best for them. My work schedule is also flexible throughout the day because the organisation I work for is very laid back, so I am able to regularly take dogs out for walks/to go potty throughout the day. My partner goes to work most days but has an irregular schedule so if I need to step out e.g., to do groceries, he would be home to take over the pet care for that time. I live in a fairly spacious apartment and have a park across the road where I would take the dogs in my care for walks. There are also multiple other green walking routes in my neighbourhood. I‘m very respecful of owners routines for their pet and would follow instructions closely.

Over: I have always connected with animals, ever since I was a small kid. My family always had dogs so I grew up around them, always wanting to be involved in their care. When I grew a bit older, I started walking my neighbours’ dogs, feeding and keeping company when they were away and ensuring their well being in general. My friends and family also entrusted me with their furry babies whenever needed and I’m glad to care for them. Back at my parents’ house I have a dog who is now senior and while living there I was her primary caregiver. She is my soul dog and I miss her so much, it would help so much to be around other pets and give them the love that I physically can’t give her while I’m here for university. I can care for seniors, administer medication if needed, teach young puppies simple tricks, and I have plenty of patience to deal with your dog’s personality (and love to give them). I go to university part time, I do have a couple free days where I can watch and care for your fur baby. During the weekends I don’t tend to go out and I terribly miss my dog’s company, so it would be perfect to spend it in company of another doggy. I sadly cannot have animals in my home as my tenant does not allow it, but I’ll be more than happy to go to your home and watch your dog(s). I see this as a good thing for your pet, as it avoids taking them to an unfamiliar environment with an unfamiliar person. I am more than happy to meet with you and your dog for coffee or a quick chat so we can get to know each other and make it all smoother. I’ll do everything in my power to ensure your dog’s safety, comfort, well being and that you have peace of mind while away (promise to send pictures if you want them!!!). I strive to create a good bond with every doggy, I’ll cater to their needs (such as being high or low energy, needing more attention, wanting cuddles or to be left alone etc). I’ll love to meet your dog and I’m sure we’ll have a great time.
Over: I have a dog of my own. It’s an adorable well behaved 2,5 year old beagle. I raise him since he was 8 weeks old. Before that I would casually have dog-sit pets of my friends. I can host your dog in the period of Friday - Monday or less. The rest of the days I work in the office. Also overnight is possible as long as it is planned in advance. I have a fenced yard and a crate if your dog used to it and need to sleep there or so. With my own beagle at home a play and a company is guaranteed. He is super social. We have a lively dog play ground nearby where dogs can run unleashed.
