Over: I have grown up surrounded by animals my entire life, always sharing my home with both dogs and cats. Caring for pets has never been a phase for me, it is part of who I am. Animals make me feel at home, and their well-being has always been a natural priority in my daily life.
I currently share my life with my 18-year-old cat, who has taught me a great deal about patience, responsibility, and attentive care. Over the years, she has undergone surgeries on both knees and experienced feline pancreatitis twice, among other health problems. 
Supporting her through these challenges gave me valuable hands-on experience with senior pets and animals that require special care, medication routines, close observation, and lots of emotional support. Today, she is healthy, well-managed, and deeply loved.
My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from genuine love and respect for animals. I understand that every pet has its own personality, needs, and boundaries, and I always adapt my care accordingly. I am calm, attentive, and reliable, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. My schedule allows me to dedicate quality time and attention to the pets in my care. On weekends, as well as Mondays and Fridays, I have flexible availability and can adjust visit times depending on the pet’s routine and the owner’s needs. From Tuesday to Thursday, I’m available for visits starting at 6:30 pm. I always try to respect each pet’s usual schedule for feeding, playtime, and rest, helping them feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. Creating a calm, safe, and respectful environment is very important to me. I always take time to understand each pet’s personality, routine, and specific needs before starting care. Because I have experience with a senior cat who has required medical attention and close monitoring, I’m very attentive to behavior, appetite, and any small changes in well-being. I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and respect for their space, making sure they feel safe and cared for at all times.

Over: Wat mij onderscheidt als oppasser is dat ik veel waarde hecht aan persoonlijke aandacht en ervoor zorg dat ieder huisdier zich veilig, comfortabel en op zijn gemak voelt. Ik neem de tijd om het karakter en de behoeften van een dier goed te leren kennen en pas mijn verzorging daar graag op aan. Ik ben geduldig, verantwoordelijk en zorgzaam. Of het nu gaat om spelen en aandacht geven aan een jong en energiek huisdier, het aanleren van goede gewoontes of juist de extra rust en verzorging die een ouder huisdier nodig heeft: ik vind het belangrijk dat ieder dier de aandacht krijgt die bij hem of haar past. Daarnaast houd ik mij graag aan de vaste routine van een huisdier, zoals voer- en wandeltijden, medicatie indien nodig en andere afspraken met de eigenaar. Mijn doel is dat zowel het huisdier als de eigenaar met een gerust gevoel kunnen genieten van de oppasperiode. Ik werk vier dagen per week. Mijn diensten zijn van 07:45 tot 16:15 uur en van 14:30 tot 23:00 uur. Daardoor heb ik zowel vóór als na mijn werk tijd om voor het huisdier te zorgen. Dit hangt af van de service die ik aanbied. Ik zorg ervoor dat het huisdier voldoende eten en drinken krijgt, de nodige aandacht en beweging krijgt en zich comfortabel voelt. Bij de verzorging bij het baasje thuis houd ik mij aan de gewoontes en instructies van het baasje, zodat het huisdier zich zoveel mogelijk op zijn gemak voelt.

I’m always happy to discuss the expected travel costs with you in advance so everything is clear before confirming the booking. • Dog walking and drop-in visits are available locally around Apeldoorn, where I can easily travel by bike. • I always like to arrange a short meet-and-greet beforehand so we can get to know each other, meet your pet, and make sure we are a great match. I've had a french bulldog for 10 years and grew up with cats as a kid. I've always petsitted throughout the years. In the beginning mostly through friends and family. Now (and for years already) through platforms like these and mostly in Berlin and Amsterdam/Haarlem. And I love animals ánd nature. Experienced plant-, house- and animalsitter over here. I am from the Netherlands, but spending time in both Amsterdam and Berlin, hopping from rentals to animalsits. I love animals and am happy to spend time with them. I am a singer and freelancer, so I spend a great deal of the day at home and it is important for me to have a place with great WiFi. But offcourse during summer I also sometimes leave the house for a couple of hours so that should be okay with you. I am happy to send you pictures and video's during the sit! So you can stay connected in that way as well. Energy is loud to me, so I always say that animals talk! Even if it's without human words. I love cuddling them (if they want to), sing around them or leave them alone (if they want to ;p) I am a calm yet energetic, happy and steady person and I know how to improvise if needed.
