In addition to earning certifications, I continue studying canine behavior, body language, enrichment, training, nutrition, and overall wellness so I can provide the safest and highest-quality care possible. 🐾 A Dedicated Family Care Team One of the things that makes our care unique is that we are a team, not just one sitter. My partner William and I care for the dogs together, and my mother frequently joins us as well. Because multiple caring adults are involved, there is almost always someone home providing supervision, companionship, playtime, walks, potty breaks, and cuddles. Your dog will be treated like a member of our family and enjoy plenty of attention throughout the day. 🐾 Small Group VIP Care & Safety First We intentionally keep our boarding program small and personalized. Rather than accepting a large number of dogs, we focus on providing individualized attention, close supervision, and a comfortable environment for every guest. Before accepting a new dog, we carefully evaluate temperament, play style, energy level, and compatibility with other dogs. Meet & Greets are highly encouraged for first-time guests whenever possible. For the safety and well-being of all dogs in our care, we do not accept dogs with aggressive behavior toward people or other animals. As both a professional pet caregiver and a dog owner myself, I understand both perspectives. Safety, communication, supervision, and proper temperament matching are the things I value most when choosing care for my own dog, and those same principles guide every decision we make. 🐾 Meet Our Resident Dog, Mina We share our home with our beloved dog, Mina, a sweet 4-year-old Shiba Inu. Many people describe Mina as being “more like a cat than a dog.” Most of the day, she enjoys quietly relaxing near us, lounging by the bed, or simply observing the world around her. She is calm, respectful of other dogs’ personal space, and does not overwhelm visiting guests, making her a wonderful companion for shy, nervous, senior, or more reserved dogs. When we visit grassy fields or dog parks, Mina loves running around and playing with other friendly dogs. She has welcomed many visiting pups into our home and often becomes their first friend during their stay. 🐾 Personalized Care for Every Dog Every dog is unique, which is why I tailor each stay based on your dog’s personality, age, routine, energy level, and individual needs. I always follow each owner’s instructions and established routine, including feeding schedules, medications, supplements, sleeping arrangements, potty schedules, exercise preferences, and special care requirements. My goal is to make your dog feel as comfortable and at home as possible while you’re away. 🐾 Fresh Food, Healthy Treats & Enrichment As a dog owner myself, I enjoy learning about canine nutrition and preparing fresh homemade meals for my own dog, Mina. From time to time, I may offer visiting dogs homemade treats or healthy snacks as enrichment, provided they do not have food allergies, sensitive stomachs, dietary restrictions, or owner preferences against treats. As a Berklee-trained musician, I also enjoy creating a calm and relaxing environment through music. Some dogs love resting nearby while piano music plays, creating a peaceful atmosphere throughout the home. 🐾 Daily Walks & Outdoor Adventures Dogs staying with us enjoy frequent outdoor time throughout the day. In addition to walks, enrichment activities, grassy field adventures, and playtime, we typically provide approximately 3–4 dedicated potty breaks daily. These potty outings are separate from exercise sessions, grassy field visits, and dog park adventures.
