Pet care experience

Trusted care for paws & claws

I’m a lifelong dog lover and current pet parent to a 10-year-old terrier mix, so I understand the care, patience, and attention pets need at every stage of life. We take trips to Shelby Farms and occasionally visit Overton Park, and I truly enjoy staying active and engaged with dogs during walks and outings. Before my current dog, I cared for my previous dog for 11 years, giving me extensive experience with senior dogs, long-term routines, and recognizing changes in behavior or comfort. I love dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels—from playful puppies to older, calmer companions. I’ve also provided house sitting and pet sitting services for dogs and cats in Oxford, MS. I follow care instructions closely and focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and relaxed in their own environment. I’m happy to take dogs to nearby parks if requested and always prioritize your pet’s routine and well-being.

Safety, trust & environment

For drop-ins and dog walks, I keep things simple, dependable, and matched to your pet’s routine. During drop-ins, I take care of feeding, water, litter or potty breaks, and a little playtime or cuddles so your pet feels comfortable. For dog walks, I make sure your pup gets a safe, enjoyable stroll that fits their energy level. My goal is to show up like a good neighbor — reliable, caring, and right on schedule.

Whitney was great! Very prompt and extremely caring with our little ones. She was very knowledgeable. Also, knew how to care for our very temperamental rabbit. Highly recommend!

Schedule

Pet care is already part of my daily routine. As a dog owner, my days are structured around regular walks, outdoor time, feeding schedules, and check-ins, so adding client pets fits in seamlessly. We take daily walks and park visits, and I’m happy to adjust timing based on your pet’s normal routine. I build my schedule to allow for consistency and flexibility, whether that means morning, midday, or evening visits. I’m reliable with timing, comfortable following detailed instructions, and make sure pets receive the attention and care they need without feeling rushed. For house sitting and drop-ins, I plan my week around booked services to ensure each pet gets focused, unhurried care and plenty of attention.

Before I watch a pet, I like to know their routine, personality, and any special needs. Things like feeding times, medication, favorite toys, energy level, and how they usually act around new people or other animals are super helpful. I also like to know any quirks — what scares them, what comforts them, and what behaviors are normal for them. The more I know up front, the better I can keep them happy, safe, and relaxed while you’re away.
