I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for most of my life, and I’ve spent the past 5 years working professionally at a dog boarding and daycare facility, where I’ve been a manager for the last 2½ years. My experience includes caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, personalities, and energy levels, as well as senior dogs and pets with special needs. Through my job, I’ve also provided in-home care for clients whose pets needed care outside of our facility, including daytime visits, drop-ins, and overnight stays. I’ve cared for pets in their own homes as well as provided sitting in my home for friends and people I know. I’m comfortable handling dogs who require extra attention, including dogs with mobility limitations, paralyzed dogs, medication schedules, special feedings, and other individualized routines. I understand how important it is to follow each pet’s routine closely and make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. Outside of work, I grew up with multiple dogs and cats and have always had a strong love for animals. One of my own dogs was a Terrier/Chihuahua mix who lived to be 16 years old, so I especially understand the patience and care that senior pets need. Whether your dog needs an energetic play session, a relaxing day, medication, special feeding, an overnight stay, or simply some extra love and attention, I’m comfortable adapting to their individual needs. My goal is to give every pet the same level of care, patience, and attention that I would want for my own.
