Ready for marathon playtime!
I've been lucky to have been surrounded by dogs and cats of various shapes, sizes, and temperaments throughout my life with the pets of my friends and family. I was inspired to start caring for pets through my time living with my roommate's cat, Nemo -- a particularly needy and anxious fellow who set firm boundaries but nevertheless crept his way into my heart. Spending time with him day and night, through sickness and zoomies and all the rest, taught me to see and treat animals as I would humans of any age: as creatures who deserve attention and care, dignity and respect for their autonomy. (And, of course, lot of fun and affection!) More about me: - Distance runner and committed commute-by-bike-er, so I should be able to keep up with your pup (or kitty!) for long/fast walks and endless playtime (if all goes to plan, they'll tire out before I do)! - Observant -- I pay attention to minute changes in mood, body language, and behavior to ensure their physical and emotional needs are met and symptoms are addressed early - WFH on EST, so largely flexible with free afternoons Hanging out with your pet is a pleasure and a privilege, and I look forward to meeting and making new furry friends! :)

I'm attentive, observant, and make it a point to read up on and understand animal behavior and illnesses -- I pay very close attention to minute changes in mood, body language, and behavior to ensure their physical and emotional needs are met. Addressing potential symptoms of illness early on is important to me, and I will always let you know if anything seems concerning or might need to be monitored. I'll follow your care instructions to the T!

This was our first time leaving our kitten. We were both very sad and nervous. Vivian came highly recommended form my sister-in-law who has two cats. Vivian sent get updates and lots of pictures that we looked at multiple times during the trip. Made us relax and enjoy our trip knowing she was in good hands.
Vivian is just the most thoughtful sitter. Sherman is a huge fan, which is high praise for someone as shut down and anxious as this little guy! We really appreciate the help and felt 100% confident that Sherman was doing just fine with Vivian while we were away. Thank you!
Vivian takes incredible care of our beloved Coco three days a week. My husband and I could not be more grateful for Vivian. She has helped Coco with her antibiotics, diaper changes, slow walks, treat exercies, and endless cuddles. Vivian's love of animals is so obvious and I always look forward to her sweet notes about their adventures together. Count your pet very lucky if Vivian is in their care!
Vivian is a great communicator, so responsive and flexible even when we had to switch up the plan! I loved all the pictures and updates of Sherman and would definitely hire again!
Vivian is the best!! Our go to dog walker. Our dog absolutely adores her and is always so happy to see Vivian. They go above and beyond and we’re so grateful!!
As always Vivian is great. Leaves details about the walk, brougjt a package inside (wow, thanks for that!), and shows my dog a love of love. Winston and I are grateful.

Harmonogram
I WFH on East Coast hours, so my schedule is largely flexible -- with advanced notice, can usually make drop-ins and house sitting work! For walks, I'm typically free after 2:30pm weekdays, Saturday afternoons, and Sundays after 6:30am. I won't say I'll move heaven and earth to hang with your pet, but I can come close to it! ;)
