I’m tori and I’ve been caring for dogs for the past few years now. I dog/house sit for family, friends and neighbors. Over the summer I also dog walked for a job and also worked at a dog boarding and daycare business. I would be in daycare rooms with dogs and also took care of dogs while they were boarding there.

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

Since I am in college and live in a dorm I will not be offering to care for pets in my own home. As someone who has cared for other peoples animals I will always make sure that I ask questions about the dogs habits such as what they are allergic to, if they have any special needs that need to be met, if they are friendly towards other dogs and to always go slow since I am a stranger to them etc.

Victoria is a true animal lover! She is the only person I trust with my babies. I have two goldendoodles, Koda - standard size and Mister Peabody - mini petite. Mister Peabody will one day work with children as a therapy dog. They both are so excited to see her when she comes and their tails are going so fast they could knock someone out with their tail. When she gets back home and she comes to see them for a visit and they are happy and over the moon to see her.

The most important things to know about would be whether or not the dog is good with other animals. Another good thing to know is if they get nervous or scared with new people and to make sure they don’t have any areas they don’t like to be touched or to be made aware if they have certain triggers. Also if the dog has any special medicine or medical conditions that need to be observed.
