Safety, trust & environment
We live on an acre with a fenced in backyard. Because of the foliage, I do require your dog to be on a tick preventative for their safety. We will keep your fur baby company, loved on and entertained! We spend a lot of time at home, so your pup will never get lonely under our care. I also take time to read your dogs cues and body language and teach my children how to read these and the importance of respecting animals and their boundaries. We treat all animals with love and respect.

Please make me aware of any special preferences or needs for your dog, as I am happy to accommodate these. Keep in mind while I have a background in behavior, I am not a dog trainer.
A typical day
The more physical activity outside, the better! We start off our days with a walk. While I prepare breakfast for the rest of the household, your fur baby would get some adequate rest before their breakfast. Meal times for both human and fur babies will take place in separate and secure areas of our home to ensure everyone is eating only what they’re supposed to. After breakfast we’d all be back outside for more playtime, of course, following your dogs cues for adequate rest and hydration. During kids naps and after bedtime, you can guarantee one on one time for your pup to get all the snuggles and scratches! I like to end the day with it more physical activity to ensure everyone gets a good nights rest! Dogs are able to sleep in our home where ever they are most comfortable, except in our beds.

Pet care experience
I’ve been around dogs my entire life, having the unique experience raising and training dogs through my father, an experienced police dog trainer and handler. I have a lot of patience and take great care in handling dogs of all breeds. I have skills and experience in crate training, potty training, leash training, getting pets used to kids and other animals, and breaking food and toy aggression. I am available for drop-in visits and walks for all animals. I am able to board up to 3 dogs at a time. I am able to pick up and drop off for an additional fee of $30 each. Pick up and drop off times are flexible. For boards longer than 3 days, I require a “doggy day care” trial with a minimum of 4 hours to ensure your beloved pet and I are good fits for each other. Proof of vaccines required.
Reviews

Veronica's nice big fenced in yard and cozy couch are all my Rosie needs to make her happy. But all the lovin' from her and the kiddos really makes it feel like a second home. :)

We couldn't have been happier with Gus' stay with Victoria and her family. I'm not sure he even wanted to come home with us when we picked him up! We received so many updates, photos, and videos and it gave us such peace of mind while we were traveling abroad. We've already booked again for the end of the month and know he'll be in great hands!

Victoria was very attentive to all of my dogs special requirements. She sent me multiple updates throughout my trip and I was able to relax with peace of mind. I knew my fur baby was in great hands with Victoria. She was very professional throughout the whole process.

Victoria has been great caring for my puppy in her home. She made us feel very comfortable by doing home visits at both her house and ours. She is very communicative and my puppy seems to be enjoying her time with Victoria!
