Availability
AVAILABILITY I keep my calendar up to date and value clear, reliable communication. I’m available for drop-ins on evenings, weekends, and holidays. For housesitting, my standard schedule is arriving in the morning, staying all day, and returning home at night. On workdays, this includes working remotely from your home during the day. OVERNIGHT CARE If overnight care is required, an additional overnight fee applies. I have a cat at home, use transit, and work full time, so overnight stays require additional planning around travel time, my work schedule, and making sure my own pet continues to receive consistent care. My base overnight fee is $25 per night for locations within one mile, and the fee may increase based on commute distance, care requirements, and the number of animals. SERVICE AREA My service area is within a 3-mile radius from the edge of Capitol Hill/SLU. I charge an additional commute fee starting at $25 per day for clients outside of that range. *Note on Additional Fees: If a booking is both out of my service area and requires overnight care, only one additional fee will be charged; the price will be determined based on the circumstances of the request. NEW CLIENTS For new clients, I like to schedule a meet-and-greet promptly so we can confirm fit and go over routines, expectations, and logistics. If an in-person meet-and-greet needs to happen closer to the booking start date, I’m happy to do a phone call or video chat to confirm booking prior to the meet-and-greet. If meeting in-person is not feasible due to scheduling constraints, a video chat can take the place of the meet-and-greet. In some cases, booking may be required prior to meeting in-person.

A typical day
A TYPICAL DAY A typical day depends on your pet’s routine and energy level. For dogs, that may include walks, potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of attention. I’m also able to jog with dogs that are already trained and comfortable running during walks. For cats, I make time for feeding, litter box care, check-ins, affection, and interactive play if they enjoy it.

Pet care experience
Hi there! I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments for most of my life, and I started pet sitting when I was 16. Over the years, neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, board, play with, and care for their pets, including administering medication when needed. I’m comfortable with different energy levels and personalities, from active animals who love long walks or playing to those who need a calmer, more structured approach.

Reviews

Victoria watched my senior dog Oliver over Memorial Day weekend. Oliver had some medications that needed to be administered and Victoria did everything that was asked and went above and beyond for my boy. Leaving your pets with strangers in your house can be strange but any anxiety I had was gone upon meeting her and communicating before my departure date. She is super kind and detailed for all of your pets needs. She sent photos and updates throughout the weekend even when I was in an area with no cell service. I’d highly recommend Victoria to watch your pets.

Victoria housesat and cared for our two cats for a short trip. She was attentive and communicative, bringing up concerns as they came up and offering suggestions, like thinking of whisker fatigue and being mindful of litter box behavior. Appreciate you taking good care of our kitties!

I had a great experience having Victoria watch my boy Ash. Her communication was excellent, she arrived on time, and took great care of Ash. I would happily have her watch him again!

Victoria was amazing with my cat Edison! I'm always a little nervous leaving her with new people - she needs medication twice a day - but Victoria put me at ease. Edison had a great time too. Would highly recommend!
